Infact the best way to develop a country is through diverse ethnic groups full of strangers. If there's just one people that's the majority. It would be that one ethnic group that's the majority vs the rest of the strangers

it's 2020 Africa is yet to show that there is some form of intelligent life in the continent. Everything we know, we were taught by Europeans. Our educational curriculum, our medical system, everything about technology, from cars to the phones you are using. Even if in the future we learn how to make phones or anything at all, it will be because we went abroad to learn or they came to teach us. What more can I say. Do you have any proof or reason to believe the AVERAGE African man is not naturally backward and unintelligent? It's cool to be optimistic but sometimes realism is a better diagnosis.

If u day the USA is homogenous that means u know nothing about the US, the US is one of the most heterogeneous countries in the world with far too many ethnicities.

In the US we have Nigerian Americans, black Americans, Chinese Americans, Indians, even indegenous Americans, mexican Americans etc.

well, you are talking about race. My context was far from that. When I talk about homogeneity I'm referring to culture, the USA is predominantly Christian, few Muslims and atheists. They ALL SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE. Observe same festivals like prom,. Halloween and the likes. Anyway, they really do not have to be homogeneous, they are civilized people and are not torn apart by cultural sentiments. However, the average African man is an unintelligent species (hard to swallow pill)

And prices of goods and services will.shoot up because no more free movement of foodstuff and so on. Because borders means customs means taxes (and the South depends heavily on.food from the North plus imports.)

they wouldn't be 100% homogeneous but they would have a majority and a minority. Religion for example is a very strong binding Force, a society that is 95 unireligous is better off. Also there would be a major language. All these other economic factors u mentioned are true, nevertheless. The only way a heterogeneous country would work is if the citizens were civilized enough to be untribalistic and we all know the African man is far far from civilization.

If homogeneity is your criteria, you could end up with over 200 countries from Nigeria.

Biafra is just as much as a contraption as Nigeria ,. assuming Nnamdi Kanu vision for Biafra happens. Even the oodua Republic is somewhat a contraption. And Northern Nigeria looks culturally unified, but is really superdiverse.

The reason why African countries don't do well is because most of them, on independence, ran on the idea of selling raw materials and sharing the money. That's not how successful countries are run. Add the problem that we don't control the prices of what we sell, and that's why we get perpetually broke and are always taking loans (which did not start under this admin).

You want development? Stop sharing the national cake. Start using your raw materials to develop products for the global market. Cut subsides, raise taxes, attract investors, and see your country grow in ten years. Homogeneity or heterogeneity.
