please forgive me, I am new to this platform but I need information. Do I need to book an appointment with the embassy to open a block account? or I go there without booking an appointment. And if am to book an appointment, what is the procedure, requirement and how do I go about it. Your advice and guide will mean a lot to me.Thanks
Yes, you have to book an appointment with the embassy to open a blocked account using the link provided above. Also, you have to download the form for the blocked account. Check the embassy website for these links and documents required.

nevilbolt and pompody have spoken well. I think both of em r tryna give us what is obtainable over there. personally, I believe our "why" should be the motivating force. why? why would I want to leave my 90k/300k paying job for germo? why would I want to sell my house for a dream? why would I want to sell my danfo that's earning me sth aidY? why would I want to switch my comfort zone in Nigeria where I know a lot ta people aidy for germo where I know nobody except God? it's a personal and thought provoking question which u have to be honest with yourself.
once you know your why is worth all your landed properties even with any inheritance(in case u have one) or borrowed money ,then why not? I am a dreamer. I love dreams and I aggressively pursue them streetly (in olamides voice). if your dream is to pursue an MSc probly following that up with a PhD, why start thinking about "if things nor work nko or if I nor see job". shuu! nawa you oooh. it's your dream man. chase it. I heard u need the language to increase your chances of getting a Job after studies, man what r u doing now? reading this epistle? start now(with a street mindset). if u r IT related, be proficient in at least a programming language. Get yourself pimped soteh u go become hard to refuse for any potential employer. From my little experience, it's about what u can do not what u have studied in school. forget naija graduate mentality, get acquainted with the reality. love-vendor yourself with the necessary skill and wait on God to do the best. On the renewal issh, I think the ancestors should tell us how they go about theirs. you guys keep saying students job o, e no easy,e nor shegba, pepese kan, e no shey kinikankinikan (mean no disrespect Biko, edakun) and u r still there u never come back house. tell us how u do am. I know of scholarship for outstanding students after the first year e.g. Heidelberg Msc scientific computing dey give 800yuros (nor mind the spelling ) for top 25% students. who tell us say we nor fit tip the class? additionally, u can apply for other available scholarship. haba!shey we nor fit find sponsors for the second year ni sef? nawa oo. I believe there must be a way out aside depending on people home for second year funding(well nah the ancestors sabi pass).
my point is, let your reason for going germo be string so that when the challenges cone, you will be strong and conquer.
Did you apply for MSc Scientific Computing at University of Heidelberg?

Waiting for the lies.

Waiting for Buhari's name to be called.

Waiting for the NO Graphic pictures.

Waiting for this tricksters to POUR the blood of Goats and Cows obtained from Onitsha meat market, and trying to pass it as that of humans ,to be used against the Nigeria Government.

Waiting.

For months we have repeatedly warned this Biafran mongers, that using a violent protest to attack the Federal Government of any Country in the World, for the purpose of breaking the Country into pieces is a treason, and a declaration of War against the seating Government.

But will these guys across the Bridge listen?

For a Region that has Schools like UNN,NAU and FUTO that parades intellectuals,it is sad that those knowledge from the Schools are not shared with these rabble rousers.

If you choose to go to War with the Federal Government,be prepared for a fight.

Please try to make sense..

bearded male head= 80

100-30+80=150
Observe properly, it's one beard less male head.
I think the answer is 100
50-30+80=100

Seriously? I certified mine, but it was without a seal, I guess I'll have to go use a notary public before resending ASAP!!!! Thank you very much for this info.
Yes, please use a notary public lawyer. It's better. Which course are you applying to? I sent you a PM.

Thank you very much for your advise, I guess I'll just do that. Am serving in Enugu, so I'll look for that Tnt office in Enugu. Also, I applied for two different courses at TUM, if and when it happens that I have to resend my documents to them, can I put the two documents in separate envelopes, and then put them in a much bigger one. And send as one document, so as to save cost?
Since you will be sending your documents again, make sure the documents that need certification are properly certified, that is with a seal. Mine was rejected because it was not properly certified I had to resend the documents again. So learn from my mistake.

Plismoll:

@weirdarkhitekt, Thank you! My paper docs got to TUM late Feb.

@Tesland, Lobito007 & Hadassaheke, thank you!

@Barleh, I did Skype interview (2nd stage) on 2nd of May. Got success mail few hours later. My application experience:

1st step: Online application (after thoroughly surfing the school's website).

2nd step: Sent all required paper docs (for admission) except Health insurance which was required for enrollment (I will send that later).

3rd Step: Got a notification that my docs have been received. Prayed and hoped for the best.

4th Step: Got an interview invitation but I rescheduled to an earlier date (rescheduling is allowed as stated in the invitation).

5th Step: 30mins interview. 3-man panel (one male lecturer, a woman and an observer). The interview questions covered my motivation for applying for MSC programme, why TUM, other schools in Germany that I applied to, my CV, my present job, funding, my undergraduate specialization/ courses and some technical questions on power plant, power generation, transmission and distribution. I was UNABLE to answer ALL questions correctly but gave technical ideas on those I don't know. Finally, I asked some general questions about life in Munich, the study and when to expect result of the interview. In a nut shell, it was God's grace.
N.B: On MSPE website, there is information about the general areas to focus on (motivation, technical questions, CV etc.) for the interview with their allotted grades.

6th Step: Got a success mail from the President of TUM (similar to Vice Chancellor in Nigeria), accepted the offer officially on TUMonline and downloaded the admission letter.

7th Step (loading...) : Visa application and Resumption, by God's grace.

Hope the summary helps. See you!

Congratulations bro. So happy for you.

There is a documentary about the Biafra war circulating on social media. The relevant security agencies should do something to stop it as it could breed more harm than the history the creators tagged it.

Why did they reject your own? although I never summit

My own after the rubber stamp they put a red seal in the document and matched it with their round iron stamp showing high court and emblem

They said it was not properly certified.
From what you have described, I strongly believe yours can pass.
Mine had no seal.

That's where I school.
OK. I got a mail from them stating that the certification I did was not ok. So I have certified it by a notary public lawyer. Hope to resend it tomorrow.

Please what is TUM like? What course are you studying? Masters or Bachelors?
Travel / Re: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by urchman101(m): 1:07pm On May 02, 2016
Eke40seven:

Well, it's not necessarily about where the notarisation is done, high court or a notary public, it's about meeting the specific requirements stipulatated by these schools. Mine was done at a high court in Ikeja and it was accepted.
OK, but please was your application to Technical University of Munich?
Travel / Re: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by urchman101(m): 11:03pm On May 01, 2016
Please anybody applying to Technical University in Munich should no bother certifying his or her documents at the high Court. They will reject it. Please use a notary public lawyer.
