hi niyi09,if you can recall i wrote that animax will come up next year.and for the top movie channel you must know that u just don't pick up channels like that.there are lay down processes which both parties must follow.we shall see if by next week discovery world and kidsco don't come next week.

hi okomogo,as to all u listed here are ur answers:-
1.the picture quality on the hi channels is currently been worked out by hitv and eutelsat.
2.talks are on with top hollywood movie studios.also talks are on for a top class premium movie channel.
3.discovery world,kidsco will come up on or before next week.setanta will come may come up by first week of november due to technical reasons.
4.as for informing you guys on latest developments on hitv,well i will try my very best.also check the hitv site for updates too (www.hitv.com.ng).
5.magnaquest are on it has i write you now,we should know that it will not start at once.they will also work on many many means of paying subscriptions.
6.the epg and substitling are currently on and working,but there are issues with the time on 11900 H 27500 freq. which is been worked on.those with the 2.07 software can till see the substitling and epg,but it's till under testing.

hi kkkossy,this info is also for all too,when ever you get a new hitv system,your smart card is pre-load with 3-5days previews after which it goes off.to stop it from going off,please please tell your installer/dealer to make sure he/she summits your subscription form/details to hitv within the 5days preview to ensure your viewing is not cut short.thank you

hi Seuncyber,well let's wait to see the 40 channels of Daarsat.Then we will be able to fully access them.Note that the Dth business is a long term venture and has you grow you add more channels,new innovations,better services etc.That's were Hitv is getting to,starting from this october.

hi all,hitv know there are problems and are really working towards making every subscriber very happy.all they need is time.from this month of october we shall start to notice many changes(activation processes,new channels,better services etc).watch this space,

@ sology please just ask those who really had fstv they will tell you that they had mbc 2&4,plus aljazeera sports and dubai sports.

i never said hitv don't have money.hurry daarsat will soon launch with over 40 channels,but time shall tell who will last long in the business of DTH.

has for discovery,even gtv is adding theirs this month,and they too have not added their because bith them and hitv are working on both the technical and contract terms which will let both companies to add the channel this month.the october issue of HI MAG has the tv schedule of discovery world.watch this space,

Hi all,let me first say that fstv aired mbc 2 and 4,if u didn't know ask those who had it till they closed down.also they [fstv] didn't close down just because of airing mbc,many other things added to their problem.

if you guys think just adding any channel from anywere sells then maybe discom and daarsat is your choice,but time shall tell who last to see the next 10years.daarsat has spent over 13billion on facilities and equipment and just 1.3billion on programmes and contents.well they have free money to spend ,because if they collected bank loans they will never spent such an amount on just equipments.

we always list things gtv has done.lets ask ourself one question,how much did gtv use to roll-out?,till date over 260million dollars.they are a british comany based in the UK.They have access to funds from europe.how many of our banks in nigeria will fund growing businesses?,just few.and even they funds they will give out will not even buy you contents.

with time we all shall see many changes plus new innovations.kidsco,setanta and discovery world coming this october,watch this space.

and as for Amuludun,it's from their end.the last rainfall in lagos,damaged some of their equipments.they are currently working on it,pls bear with them.

hi all,we should ask ourself one question,the offer from disccom is it legal?,has per the channels.because i contacted mbc and they said their channels is not cleared for africa(nigeria).and has for discovery channel and cartoon network,they are getting it from dstv.so one day if dstv feels they (discom)are eating more than they can chew,they can just take them to court.this is not the first time discom will be launching and re-launching.beware,

1st of October being nigeria ’s independence day gives us an avenue to review football in the nation over the past forty eight years,the programme will run for 6o minutes and will have five segments.

Segment 1: general review of football in nigeria since independence.

In this segment our anchors veronica and temisan will speak to our resource persons deji omotoyinbo and sola aiyepeku and bode oguntuyi(vetran sports journalist) on the sub topic and will last for 10 minutes.

Segment 2: Nigerian football,a players perspective

In this segment ex-internationals etim esin,nnduka ugbade,jay jay okocha and Harrison jalla(president national association of Nigerian footballers) will be guests and they will look at issues in our football over the period and profer solutions.it will last for 15 minutes.

Segment 3: Nigerian football,club owner/administrator.

In this segment deji tinubu(former lagos state sports council chairman and proprietor of atletico football club) will be the resource person along side nnduka ugbade to discuss development from the grassroot and an enduring structure.it will run for 10 minutes.


Segment 4: Nigerian football the business potentials.

In this segment md/ceo hitv toyin subair and fela bank-olemoh will be resource persons discussing all potentials for Nigerian football and how big the industry is,or can be if well ‘buisnessed’.It will run for 10 minutes.


Segment 5: conclusions

In this segment all resource persons will be on set and conclusions on all topics will be made and discussed.it will last for 5 minutes.

hi medube,you can receive gtv signals in nigeria.has they are on the same satellite with hitv and dstv.but note that they are not allowed in nigeria.so bring it here well be at your risk,so it's up to you.check www.hitv.com.ng and www.gtv.tv then you be the judge.
