peacesamuel94: Affliction is something that is common to everyone, infact the life of a christian is full of challenges, but the fact that the disciples of Christ went through affliction does not mean that, they didn't pray by faith, and that their prayers were not answered based on their faith. Alright I'd like you to help me answer these questions.
1. when peter prayed for the crippled man at the gate called beautiful, was it done in faith?
2. If faith is not needed for prayers to be answered then what is the use of faith?
I'm afraid, your opinion about faith and prayer negates Heb 11:6 How many faith did Naama show case....when asked to dip himself in the Jordan river.....the shadow of peter healed people..was the faith on peter or on God |
Christianity Etc › Re: Medical Doctors, Atheism and Daily Evidence of Failed Prayers. by urheme: 11:08am On Feb 14, 2017 |
peacesamuel94: what I meant was that according to the bible, the requirement prayer needs to guarantee answers is Faith. So Prayer doesn't get answered in every case, because not everyone who "appears" to have faith really does. God heals irrespective of your faith or prayers...He chooses whom He will have mercy on...even the disciples of Jesus lived with afflictions... 2 cor 12 vs 7 - 9 |

akintom: Embarrassed for Jesus
I once had to sort out the rehabilitation of a stroke client, who is a vice president of an international church, with headquarters in Nigeria.
Most of my sessions with him was focused more, on how i can help him out of the depression that got him. He was thoroughly disillusioned, can't understand why a pastor at his level of "anointing", could be down with stroke.
And when he even recovered to the level that he could resume his duties, he still will not resume. His reason was how to cope with the "embarrassing" looks of his members.
Most of the religious folks who came down with complications of DM and HTN, had thrown away their medications, because their pastors instructed them so.
The ignorance of the religious folks, is one of the grave challenges, that faces effective health management in Nigeria today.
Next Story there is divine healing and divine health.....i practice divine health.....it does not mean i don't fall sick......it faze out without drugs.....that is my faith. divine health and healing should be according to what your faith can carry.......it is not for everybody....christians and non christians practice it...... |

oaroloye: THE MOODY HERESY.
SHALOM!
The biggest lie in modern Christian Religion is that GOD LOVES THE WORLD.
There is no Scripture in the entire Bible that says that, but the Evangelical and Pentecostal Proselytizing Denominations just SAY that there is, and recruits to Christianity just go along with it, because that is what Hypocrites like to hear.
This FALSE IDEA is the basis of the BIG-FOR-NOTHING swelling of Church ranks. It makes MASS EVANGELISM possible- causing recruitment of literally ONE HUNDRED TIMES more New "Christians" than when THE TRUTH about God and His Attitude toward the World is preached.
I have written concisely on the American Origin of this heinous deception.
There is also the issue that none of you know what The Bible actually means by the term "LOVE" at all- nor do you want to find out.
The only way that you can solve your problems with God and Religion is by confronting your False Ideas about Christianity- not by pretending that they don't exist. What are you going to achieve with this post ......whether God Loves the world or not, how does it affect you or stops you from living your life |

frank317: lol, u sir are sure the most mentally weak person on this forum..
smh @ atheist life being all about spending countless hours on social media, watching pornography and taking alcohol.
let me educate u, the life of an atheist is all about survival and being happy, if you know nothing as questions.
if the life of a christian is about continuous praying and fasting, then that sure is a life of self hate and suffering. why would any one who loves himself starve himself of food and call himself a sinner and rejected soul? just because you have covenant with food....i should eat like you........life is a mixture of pains, sorrow and joy.....if you are happy all the time then you ae not a human being.....Christians fast, pray and study to subdue or tame the flesh.....this help to curb strange desires and habit that are unholy before God. |

UyiIredia: What sort of IDIOTIC question is this? Not all Christians fast, pray and study the Bible. In fact, early Christians had no Bible. And many Christians spend their time womanizing, getting drunk and talking on social media. You simply shouldn't whitewash Christians and badmouth atheists. you are right to some extent.....except that, those people claimed to be christian because they go to church....going to church does not make you a christian...........they are not Christians. Christian don't engage in criminal and social vices that tend to degrade God and the society at large. The entire being of a christian is the temple of God.......it cannot be defiled while a Christian. happy val's day |

And i said good.
Lets swap roles. Just like if you claim to be mentally stronger than a millitary man.
You must be ready to swap roles, to prove yourself.
And then if you dont cave in, we accept your claim.

A seven days dry fast has never killed a sound theist....even the ones you themed weak. johnnydon22, seun and all of you who made your self......let the challenge begin |

magazineguy: February 14 is a special day on the calendar. It is on this day that valentine is celebrated. The season which celebrates love is usually characterized by its warming ambience and colourful outlook.
Valentine, like other festive seasons, is difficult to pass by. The gush of love in the air can be contagious. You cannot be left out in the season, lovers want to spend time together and deepen their love, singles want to create pleasureable moments. One tools employed by people, in the bid to enjoy the season is music. This is why I came up with a valentine playlist to help you enjoy the season. The following songs make up the playlist:
Mad Over You by Runtown This is arguably the hottest song of the year, so far. It just apt for the valentine season, the love themed song is quite friendly to the ear and good to groove to. It is very unlikely that Mad Over You isn’t played at your hangout spot, especially at this time.
No Forget by Adekunle Gold ft. Simi Oh yeah, just the right duet to fan the flames of love during the valentine season. The brilliant voice of Adekunle and Simi’s sonorous singing gives this song the perfect blend for a love song. The wide acceptance of the song means that your partner might just like the song as much as you do, it would be romantic to have you and your partner sing the love professing verses of the song to each other.
Smile for me by Simi Miss Simi’s smile for me is another love anthem that should be on val playlist. The lyrics of the song is the mojo. It is the kind of song lovers want to listen to in the company of their partner.
Chemistry by Falz & Simi A valentine playlist would be incomplete without this song. This song sets the mood right for a love atmosphere. Simi’s dominance on this playlist qualifies her for the title of queen of Nigerian RnB.
Aduke by Tjan This beautiful love professing song would do well on any val playlist. The ladies especially would like to assume the Aduke character for the val night. The song is beautiful and head spinning. You cannot get it wrong on a val night, with Aduke playing in the background.

HardMirror: WARNING! THIS IS NO JOKE: This is a serious and I want us to handle it as such. Many lives and destinies are on the line.
1. Ask for Forgiveness : Yes, go on your knees and ask God to forgive you. God sent his servant Apostle Suleiman to warn ye christians, BUT just like the pharisees and saducees, the christians of Nigeria rejected their savious (apostle suleiman) and crucified him just as the Jews crucified Jesus. PRAY! PRAY!!! God is angry with all ye hypocrite that refuse to listen to truth but love lies and worship money. God is able to forgive you all and give you a new beginning.
2. OH LORD EVERY DEVOURER THAT EATS MY PH and REFUSES TO LET ME GH........ DIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! ohhhh yessss!!! Baba! They must die. Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! I say dieeeeeeee yayayayayayaya ! *speaks in tongues* shiborobokibo! Wooooo!
Yes those that are eating my ph, but not letting me gh, you must all die! Why should I sow and not reap? Why should another man eat the fruit of my labour and not let me eat the fruit of his own labour too?
3. FATHER!!!! Every miss-Guider of my money.... Ehhhhh!.... Guide your thunder towards them! : prayer! Father ever miss-guider that keeps telling me to PH to keep the system alive, please send sophisticated guided lightening towards their heads!
4. My Mavros! Locate me in cash!!! ohhhh lord! I am tired of looking at digital mavros on my dashboard! I need cash right now.
Lord! You turned water to wine, Lord turn my mavros to cash!
5. Every Chuddy, suching my sweat and blood, Die!!!! : yes! Every chuddy, from the village, from my place of work, that is getting fat from my sweat and blood, be consumed by fire!!!
6. Lord give me wisdom to identify every mavrodi in my life God you gave solomon wisdom, he was able to avoid all PONZI schemes in his generation. Lord I admit that I am a very big fool, henceforth, give me wisdom to identify every mavrodi. Mavrodis in every form and shape, Lord cut me away from them.
LOOOoORDddD! Help me to love you more than I love money: yes lord. I have been a very bad christian. I have never evangelised, I have never won a soul to Christ, but when MMM came, I was able to convince all my neighbors , All my friends, all my colleagues at work even total strangers to Join MMM. God forgive me and hence forth help me to be a true christian. I have been busy promoting mmm on nairaland but I never won a single soul to you.... Chai! God help me o
Pray these prayer points and see how God will change your story in 7years. If 7 years is too much for you please send a pm to me and I will specially pray for you and you will receive your miracle in 7minutes. Don't forget to hold your seed offering before contacting me. YET ANOTHER MOCKERY. SO CHILDISH.. |

When i began, i was so fascinated with the NWO's kind of meditation, so i asked the Holy Spirit to teach me godly meditation. I meditate now.
Ask for everything, but read your Bible and look out for what He has left for you to do. He won't do what he has left for you to take responsibility for. Just ask him how to find your way. It works when you submit. Thanks for the encouragement. |

analice107. you just said it all. lately i was hit by the power of God and was naturally convicted of anything that is unpleasing to God. to be frank.. i could no longer carry any artificial hair, be it braid or weavons, no fake finger nail, eye lashes.... ..no make up. no wearing trousers...is a serious matter.
