No need for quarrel courses or insults. We are all humans and bound to react to what we see or hear.

It marvels me that people are already on training and others are yet to be called. I spoke with a friend in DPR today and he hardly believes there is any pending list.

Nothing is wrong with keeping fingers crossed while doing other things. The words of God are sure and will surely come to pass.

It is well with us all.

Poor people are happy thinkinh that Bubu's anticorruption sham will make them rich. They don't know life is about negotiation, it's better to have a dealer who will generate 10 billion and corner 1 billion and use 9 billion for development than to have someone who will generate 2 billion and use 2billion for development. You need to see what is the overall benefit rather than what the other person is benefitting.

And you think looters generate the money they stole? Why can't you reason that they sell oil at high prices and share revenue among themselves? Oh they are so smart that they will push oil prices up and pocket some. Where are the infrastructures they have built with 90% of previous revenue?

What was non oil revenue in the 16 years of PDP and what is it now. Have checked the difference in NPA revenue? Common jamb now remits more than thrice the previous remittance.

Why are you guys trying hard to deceive people?

By the way, where is VP Osibanjo, who is supppsed to be a Law prof. Shebi he was denying the other day that Buhari did not know any thing about the arrangement of the CJN.

Politics / Re: Why You Should Vote For Kingsley Moghalu As The Next Nigeria President by uridadole: 6:11pm On Jan 20, 2019
Dpharisee:
Under normal circumstances without nepotism and religious bias this guy should have been a top contender. Today after a bitter genocide in Rwanda, Moghalu drafted the blueprint that president Paul Kagame used in making Rwanda one of the fastest growing countries in Africa.
He was the Idiagbon behind the success of Emir Sanusi Lamido in CBN

If Nigeria were to be our private companies, none of us here will employ Buhari or Atiku as MD over Moghalu.

Unfortunately sir, ruling Nigeria is different from running a company. To rule Nigeria, it takes beyond being nice, young, educated or fine looking. It rather takes courage to stand against forces of top politicians who will thwart good policies to favor themselves, manipulate every good process, using even magic powers to lord over the president but they are sanctimonious in the public domain. Hmmm only recently a top politician told me in confidence that the first budget of buhari was passed only after he called a meeting and warned leaders of nass that if the budget is not passed he will hand over government to army and quickly the needful was done though with so many padding that we were told that it had been so since 1999. Okonja iweala said they kept paying bribes to get budget through each year. No education or swag will overcome this except a dogged strict person of integrity like buhari.

We need to get over the current crop of politicians before thinking of people of the pedigree of moghalu.

Before you cast your vote, what we need to look at first is who can stand the antics of current crop of self seeking politicians like saraki?

My thought is to vote buhari and pray he wins to continued tackling these bad guys for another four years.

The political atmosphere may improve for the likes of moghalu at that time.

Nigerians are still standing with buhari. APC is the way forward for now, not because it is the best but other parties have no matching structure.

You never can understand the intelligence that prompt security actions.

Nigerians will not take actions that undermines security. Wait and hear reports of their action first.

Until two weeks ago, these animals adamantly maintained that they are not paying fuel subsidy, rather "under recovery", which they claimed is not subsidy.

Until two weeks ago, Osibanjo in his typical criminal falsehood had always maintained since 2016 that Nigeria had stopped fuel subsidy and that billions had been saved.

This government is paying 200%-250% fuel subsidy for a product that costs 30% less.

The disturbing problem with this criminality is that since 2016, fuel subsidy payments have been done without appraisal, audit and approval by the national assembly via appropriation.

What this simply means is that this government has been spending hundreds of billions on fuel subsidy without statutory approval by the national assembly.

The implication of this criminality would have been alarming to any other nation, but no, Nigeria is just a shameful product of British criminality.

This kind of scam that take away queue from fuel station is highly welcome. Its far better than non scam subsidy regime that was keeping my car in the mega station for days.

If oil price was low, subsidy was not provided for and it becomes necessary to pay same subsidy, then the govt in the interest of the masses christened it differently so as not not break the law and keep supply stable, I think its OK.
