Politics › Re: Minimum Wage: FG, Workers’ Face-off Worsens As Labour Rejects Sack Option by urose93(f): 11:18am On Oct 05, 2019 |
What I can simply deduced from the unfortunate news is that the FG has dissapointed the labour leaders on the jumbo bribes they promised them. That's why they blow little hot. Trust these labour leaders at your own peril. The FG on seeing this, may be more committed on settling the agreed jumbo bribes to them, and we will all return to square one. I can bet my hairy ass, there will be no strike on the 16th October. |

Whatever you decide and put your mind to do will be successful. Don't be confused by the many ideas on here. Some of the forum members here are not half as intelligent as you. |

amdman: Below is the car am currently driving. It is a 2012 Lincoln MKX... and in summary, our story was love at first sight... and we are still in love
Does the body look like its nothing to write home about? And do you see the mileage? Yes... you are seeing it correctly at 377,194 kms (234,377 miles) (have already driven it for more than 4000kms since I bought it just over a month ago). Yet the engine purrs like a cat, transmission shifting is smooth, suspension is excellent and zero dashboard lights. If this car was shipped to Nigeria by some dealers, the odometer will be rolled back to 70k kms or thereabouts and buyers won't notice because it is clean in and out. Afterall, how many people in Nigeria actually do VIN checks before buying cars?
Do we buy all the cars we advertise? No. Even when we have received money, final purchase decision is still subject to our determination as to whether or not the purchase is a good deal. We have refunded payments by several people because we were not satisfied with the car when we went on inspection. So respect the person that is honest with you about what you are buying. Case closed |

loveymom: The fact your husband is denying it is nauseating
Please call a family meeting and invite both your niece and her family, your family and your husband's family. So that the both parties will face themselves and you will find out the truth.
Without the truth you won't be able to know how to handle this matter. You want a woman to call a family meeting, inviting both her parents and in-laws? Anyways, traditions differ. The family meeting will call itself. The pregnancy cannot be hidden. People will ask questions and more revelation will definitely come. So madam OP, maintain your cool though its difficult, but you just have to and wash as the season drama unveils. You sanity, your health and that of you children should be your primary concern now. This too will passed. |

theowane: the guy is technically right o. Allocations are based on some factors: One is population and the second is based on 13% derivation ( for oil producing states). Based on population, the North has it. If not for that 13% and other oil money, a state like Delta/ Bayelsa no go smell money wey Kaduna/ Katsina/Kano got take home You and the guy are 'technically' wrong o. If by population Kaduna State takes more money than Bayelsa State, then by technicality they are getting the same amount of money. Kaduna State has about 40 l.g.a and Bayelsa about 8. Is this all you can come out with? What about the inglorious glass cutter SGF? What has the FG done about his case? Is he bigger than our 'one Nigeria'? I refuse to be a blind supporter. It's obvious she is humiliated because she leaked a memo that nailed the 'presidency'. Remember she wanted to voluntarily resign, but no, they cabals wouldn't accept that. Bodija100: Bishop, instead of "cursing" the criminals and kidnappers, simply mobilize your teaming church members across the country to demonstrate against the incessant insecurity in the country. You will be surprised how things would change for the better.
You have a huge number of followers, use it to effect positive change in the country. When you do, generations will remember you for doing so. Nice suggestion. But then, the system of Nigerian government now don't welcome even the most peaceful protest. They will sent military troops to kill the unarmed church members. Lest I forget, if church as a body is not COMPLETELY neutral from politics, how would this happen? But then, the Bible prophecy must surely come to fruition, any day your suggestion above starts boldly from the church, then rejoice that GOD is about to save humanity. |

Car Talk › Re: 2002 Toyota Camry, 2004 Honda Acord And 2003 Honday Civic Which Should I Go For by urose93(f): 5:59pm On Aug 05, 2019 |
If I were in you shoes, I will choose them in this order; Toyota Camry 2002 Honda civic 2004 EOD 2004
Toyota Camry 2002, if you are lucky to see a sound Nigerian used is more roomy and spacious and hardly reported of any engine issues. I'm using one now and am enjoying it. But the fuel consumption may not be as good as the civic. Spare parts are everywhere and non-professionals can even do it's repairs. My hubby sometimes fixed some erring parts himself. I also think it's more prestigious than the civic. My candid opinion though.
Honda civic 2004. If are still lucky to get a well maintained Nigerian used, it's still a good buy. It has an exceptional fuel economy, spare parts are cheap and readily available and Honda auto professionals can handle it fix seamlessly. It's second on my list because of preference. I don't like smaller cars.
EOD 2004. It's a good car. It's roomy and spacious as well. It's has a more beautiful interior compared to others in question. But finding a sound Nigerian used may be a big task. It's everywhere in the Nigerian used car market, an indication that it may be giving their previous owners trouble. People hardly disposed a loyal and sound vehicle especially in Nigeria. So, if you are choosing EOD, make sure a more thorough check is carried out. Remember it's known for leg pull. wish you well |
