Fighting freezing winds, bone-breaking speed and up to five g-force, the Nigerian women's bobsleigh team are training hard in western Canada.
Driver Seun Adigun and brakewomen Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga are all former professional track and field athletes.
Their practice times on the ice run are fast - and they are aiming for a historic first. No bobsleigh team from Nigeria or any country in Africa has competed at the Olympics.
The team's dream is on the verge of coming true. The Nigerian bobsleigh team only needs to complete three more competitions to qualify for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

SportsBreaking News - FIFA Propose Nine African World Cup Spots by Urukpe(op): 6:25pm On Mar 30, 2017
Fifa is proposing that Africa gets nine automatic places when the World Cup expands to 48 teams in 2026.

That would be an increase from the tally of five places that the continent currently holds.

A tenth African country will take part in a six-nation play-off tournament to decide the last two spots.

Football's world governing body has revealed its plans for how all 48 places will be allocated, with 16 Europeans teams set to qualify.

"The Bureau of the Fifa Council, comprised of the Fifa President and the president of each of the six confederations, agreed on (the) proposed allocation," said a Fifa statement.

The recommendations will be voted on by the Fifa Council at its next meeting on 9 May.

Fifa members voted in January to expand the World Cup from 32 to 48 teams, starting with the 2026 edition.

Proposed allocation:

Asia: 8 direct slots - increased from 4.5 (currently 46 members)
Africa: 9 direct slots - increased from 5 (currently 54 members)
North and central America: 6 direct slots - increased from 3.5 (currently 34 members)
South America: 6 direct slots - increased from 4.5 (currently 10 members)
Oceania: 1 direct slot - increased from 0.5 (currently 11 members)
Europe: 16 direct slots - increased from 13 (currently 55 members)
Final two places in 2026 decided by six-team play-offs
NB: Currently teams from Asia, north and central America, South America and Oceania play-off for two places hence .5 spots above.

PoliticsCount Us Out Of Certificate Scandal – Jonathan, Fayose by Urukpe(op): 12:03pm On Mar 28, 2017
The duo of Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose have both debunked claims that they have any certificate scandal hanging on their necks. They gave the comments in separate statements they issued on Monday. Jonathan said he had never been linked to any sort of certificate scandal as reported by a popular newspaper (Not Vanguard) last week, urging that facts about his educational documents could be traced to the University of Port Harcourt or St. Michael’s Primary School, Oloibiri and Mater Dei High School, lmiringi where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree or First leaving school certificates respectively. He however said it was wrong to have mentioned his name among prominent Nigerians that were said to have been involved in certificate scandal. Ex-President Jonathan and Governor Fayose In a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by Jonathan’s Media Adviser, Mr. Ikechukwu Eze, he dismissed the claim as lies, stressing that ex-President Jonathan had “never been linked to any doubt, scandal or controversy concerning his academic qualifications.” “We really don’t know where this is coming from, but we wish to remain unambiguous in our assertion that this is obvious falsehood, since the former President has never been linked to any doubt, scandal or controversy concerning his academic qualifications. “We are not aware of any probe, allegation or litigation relating to his very well known academic qualifications. “For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to restate that former President Jonathan’s educational records can easily be traced to St. Michael’s Primary School, Oloibiri and Mater Dei High School, lmiringi where he obtained his first school leaving certificate and the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level respectively, as well as the University of Port Harcourt, where he received his Bachelor of Science, Master’s and doctoral degrees.” Mr. Eze also said that the classmates of the former President in all the schools he attended are still alive for anybody to call in and ask questions. Meanwhile, Governor Fayose also debunked the claims, saying at no time was his educational attainment called to question. In a statement by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Mr. Owoseni Ajayi, it said there is no certificate scandal against Fayose. Ajayi said there was no basis to include the governor among prominent Nigerians with certificate scandals. The Attorney General said the orchestrated issue of the educational qualification of Fayose was laid to rest over a decade ago in the case of AD v Fayose (CA/IL/EP/GOV/1/2004) “wherein the Court of Appeal dismissed every allegation or insinuation of irregularity in the educational qualifications of Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose.” He said, “Suffice to say that even at that time, the contention was whether Oluwayose was the same person as Fayose and the Appeal Court found that ‘Peter Ayodele Oluwayose was one and the same person as ‘Peter Ayodele Fayose.’ “It was a mere change of name, which followed the stipulated legal processes and procedures but which mischief makers tried to distort and capitalise upon for selfish political reasons. “To set the records straight, we emphatically state that His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, is not in any way involved or associated or connected with any form of ‘certificate scandals’ as the public is being made to believe. “The resort to associating Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose with ‘certificate scandals’ is only a last resort by desperate politicians who are threatened by the rising profile and towering political stature of Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose.” Recall that many prominent Nigerians have recently been embroiled in allegations of certificate scandals, many of which have come out to prove the otherwise of the allegations. For instance, Nigerians and the world watched with interest how the Senator representing Kogi West under the All Progressives Congress party, APC, Senator Dino Melaye cleared his name yesterday from an allegation involving certificate scandal. He was accused of not been a graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria by an online medium. But the senator proved, even backed by the confirmation of the varsity’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Garba, that he did graduated from the university.

PoliticsObasanjo’s Wife Files Suit In Lagos Court To Stop Son’s Wedding by Urukpe(op): 5:51pm On Mar 27, 2017
Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday filed a suit at an Ikeja High Court, seeking to stop the wedding of her son, Olujonwo Obasanjo, scheduled for May 11. Ex-President Obasanjo and the father of the bride, Sir Kessington Adebutu, promoter of Premier Lotto known as “Baba Ijebu” are respondents to the suit. TAIWO OBASANJO Mrs Obasanjo, who is the twin sister of Chief Kenny Martins, the former Coordinator of the Police Equipment Fund, is seeking a postponement of the wedding of her son, Olujonwo to Tope Adebutu scheduled for May 11 and May 12. She wants the wedding to be fixed for a date after June 1. Olujonwo and Tope had an elaborate introduction on Dec. 17, 2016 with the social media awash with photographs of the event. Obasanjo, among others, is seeking a court declaration that as the mother of the groom, she had the rights to take part in the deliberations, decisions and activities leading to the forthcoming ceremony. According to her, wedding invitations have been sent out and she has been excluded from the preparations for the ceremonies. She said she also received prophesies and warnings from men of God to the effect that Olujonwo, her son who turns 34 on June 1, should not do or be involved in any elaborate celebration before his birthday. The woman wants the court to compel Adebutu and Obasanjo to shift the wedding to a date after June 1 after she had appealed to Adebutu and Mrs Rosemary Dacosta, the mother of the bride, Tope Adebutu, the bride-to-be as well as Chief Kenny Martins. Justice Lateefa Okunnu has fixed April 10 for hearing of the suit no. ID/262FPM/2017.

TravelGermany To Deport German Born Nigerian For Suspicion Of Planning Terror Attack by Urukpe(op): 7:49am On Mar 22, 2017
Germany says it will deport two men born in the country but whose parents are foreign - the first such case in German history.
The men, a 27-year-old Algerian and a 22-year-old Nigerian, were arrested last month on suspicion of planning a terror attack.
A gun and an flag of the so-called Islamic State were found at their homes during police raids in the central city of Gottingen.
But the men have never been charged.
The criminal proceedings were dropped because police never established whether the suspects had planned to carry out an attack. Police say the two men are "dangerous".

Lower Saxony Interior Minister Boris Pistorius said the deportations would take place as soon as possible, and certainly before mid-April.
He said discussions were already under way with Algeria and Nigeria to facilitate this, and the two men would be subject to a "life-long re-entry ban", preventing their return to Germany.
If was not immediately clear if the two men would appeal against the decision.
Germany determines citizenship by the nationalities of one or both parents and also a person's place of birth.
The country has been on high alert since the Berlin Christmas market attack on 19 December, that left 12 people dead and dozens injured.

Foreign AffairsUS To Ban Laptops And Tablets On Flights From Eight Countries by Urukpe(op): 11:19am On Mar 21, 2017
The US is banning electronic devices from cabin baggage on flights from eight mainly Middle Eastern and North African countries.
A US government source told the BBC that the measure would affect nine airlines operating out of 10 airports.
US media reported the order was sparked by intelligence gathered overseas.
It will reportedly include all large electronic devices such as laptops, tablets cameras, DVD players and electronic games, but not phones.
Medical devices will also be exempt from the ban.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) declined to comment on the issue but is expected to make an announcement on Tuesday.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), which is part of Homeland Security, also refused to comment.
A formal list of the airlines affected has yet to be released, but an official speaking to the Associated Press (AP) said it would apply to the following 10 airports in eight countries:
Queen Alia International, Amman, Jordan
Cairo International Airport, Egypt
Ataturk Airport, Istanbul, Turkey
King Abdulaziz International, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
King Khalid International, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Kuwait International Airport
Mohammed V International, Casablanca, Morocco
Hamad International, Doha, Qatar
Dubai International, United Arab Emirates
Abu Dhabi International, United Arab Emirates
Officials said the ban had no end date. AP reported that airlines would not be officially informed of the ban until 03:00 ET (07:00 GMT) on Tuesday.
But Royal Jordanian Airlines tweeted on Monday that it would ban passengers from carrying on most electronics to and from its North American flights.
The tweet was later deleted.

The Jordan-based carrier said that starting on Tuesday, it would only allow phones and medical devices on its flights. All other electronics would be "strictly prohibited".
The airline said that laptops, tablets, DVD players and electronic games must be checked in with baggage.
The new rule will affect Royal Jordanian flights to New York, Chicago, Detroit and Montreal.
A matter of trust - James Cook, BBC North America correspondent
In February 2016 an aircraft operated by the Dubai-based carrier Daallo was damaged by an explosion shortly after take-off from the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
Investigators said a passenger who was sucked out of the plane had been carrying a laptop bomb. The pilot managed to land and the alleged bomber was the only fatality. Had the device gone off at cruising altitude the plane would almost certainly have been destroyed.
The Islamic militant group al-Shabab, which is linked to al-Qaeda, claimed that it was responsible and the possibility of further such attacks is apparently what is now concerning American spies.
But, as ever with matters of intelligence, officials are reluctant to go into detail about exactly why the ban is being proposed.
That means travellers being asked to trust the US government when it says that this inconvenience is vital for their own safety and - at present - trust is a commodity which is in very short supply.
What happened in Somali plane bomb?
Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly reportedly called congressional lawmakers over the weekend to explain the travel security issues that prompted the electronics ban, a congressional aide briefed on the discussion told the AP news agency.
The new ban has been under consideration for several weeks, according to US media.
Crime61-yr-old Man Beheads Lady Seeking Spiritual Cleansing by Urukpe(op): 8:53am On Mar 21, 2017
LAGOS—A 61-year-old landlord, Toafeek Hassan, was, yesterday, arrested with fresh human head and other body parts of a lady he was alleged to have murdered, at Ikoga community in Badagry area of Lagos, Sunday. Vanguard gathered that the deceased, a yet-to-be identified lady, approached Hassan, a cleric, for spiritual cleansing in Sango Otta, due to some challenges she was facing. Toafeek Hassan Arrested Vanguard gathered that he was on his way to hand over the needed body parts to a cleric yesterday, when he was accosted by curious people, as the bag was dripping blood. When they forcefully took the bag from him, a female head, two wrists and a heart spilled out. They raised alarm, which alerted other residents. But for the prompt intervention of policemen from Area ‘K’ Command, Badagry, Hassan would have been lynched by a mob, who tied his hands, legs and was dragging him on the ground. Confession On interrogation before police arrived, Hassan disclosed that it was his second time of killing clients for the unnamed cleric for ritual purpose. According to him, “she was not my direct client. A herbalist, Baba Ronke, brought her to me on Sunday. One Alfa from Sango-Otta took her to him. He said that the woman was looking for spiritual solution. “The Alfa from Otta uses human beings for rituals. He deceived the woman to Badagry, saying he was bringing her to a senior colleague, who would perform some cleansing by the river side on her. “Immediately they dropped the woman by the riverside they left, with a promise to wait for her at the bus stop. While she was waiting, I came and did my part of the job.” Asked how he killed her, Hassan did not state clearly how he committed the act. He only replied that “I began by asking her where she came from; she said she was from Ojodu Berger. I felt pity for her, but I could not help the situation. “I was on my way to deliver the needed parts to the Alfa at Sango-Otta when I was arrested. This is my second time of working for Baba Ronke and Alfa.” Police sources hinted that his accomplices fled when news of Hassan’s arrest went round. Contacted, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Cole-Famous, confirmed the incident, saying investigation was ongoing.

Politics‘powerful Nigerians’ Frustrating Anti-grazing Bill – Lawmaker by Urukpe(op): 8:46am On Mar 21, 2017
MAKURDI—THE lawmaker representing Gboko/Tarka Federal constituency at the National Assembly, Mr. John Dyegh, yesterday, claimed that some powerful Nigerians were frustrating the passage of the bill prohibiting open grazing pending before the House. Dyegh, who spoke at the Benue stakeholders meeting in Makurdi, said the same fate had befallen a similar bill sponsored by Senator Barnabas Gemade at the Senate. The lawmaker accused the Federal Government of placing emphasis on the protection of cow and other livestock rather than human lives, stressing that government must take decisive steps to stem the incessant clashes between farmers and herdsmen. He said: “Recently, government sent out helicopters to survey states where cow are being rustled, but they did not do so in Benue where humans are being killed. “It clearly shows that we have a government that places more emphasis on animals more than humans. Government must tackle this issue with all seriousness before it gets out of hand.”

PoliticsEXCLUSIVE: Obasanjo Speaks On Malabu $1.1 Billion Scandal, Tackles Adoke by Urukpe(op): 2:55pm On Mar 14, 2017
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday warned a former Attorney-General of the Federation, Bello Adoke, to cease further mention of his name in the controversial $1.1 billion Malabu Oil deal.
In an exclusive interview with PREMIUM TIMES from Addis Ababa, the former president said he considered the controversial award of OPL 245 oil field licence as the “height of corruption,” and, as such, could not have participated in negotiations that led to it.
“I don’t support that kind of conduct,” Mr. Obasanjo said in his first reaction to the intercontinental oil scandal that has haunted three administrations for nearly a decade.
The rebuttal came a day after Mr. Adoke distributed excerpts of a petition he sent to the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, alleging victimisation and persecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr. Adoke told his successor to call the anti-graft agency to order because he was not the only official who acted on behalf of Nigeria in brokering the Malabu Oil deal with international oil majors that included Shell and Eni.
He specifically mentioned Mr. Obasanjo’s name, alongside his two successors and their appointees.
“I believe it is your responsibility to explain to the public who are being sold a fiction that the transaction started from President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR under whose administration the Terms of Settlement were brokered with Chief Bayo Ojo, SAN, as the then Attorney General who executed the Terms of Settlement before the tenure of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR who approved the final implementation of the Terms of Settlement and my humble self who executed the resolution agreements,” Mr. Adoke said in the petition dated March 6.
“This is more so as the settlement and its implementation were situated in the Federal Ministry of Justice,” he added.

The petition was sent three days after Mr. Adoke accused the EFCC of lending itself to manipulation by powerful political interests, after the anti-graft agency slammed fresh charges of money laundering against him and one of his associates, Aliyu Abubakar, accusing them of sharing millions of dollars in fraudulent proceeds.
In the charges, filed at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, the EFCC said Mr. Adoke exchanged more than $2.2 million at a bureau de change in Abuja as part of his share of the controversial $1.1 billion Malabu Oil deal.
Prosecutors believe Mr. Abubakar‎, the controversial owner of A.A. Oil Ltd., acted as middleman in the questionable deal.
The EFCC said in the court filings that Mr. Adoke took delivery of $2,267,400 on September 16, 2013, and immediately got money changers to convert it to naira.
Based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time, Mr. Adoke made N345.2 million after successfully converting the funds. He subsequently deposited the money into a Unity Bank account to offset an outstanding overdraft of N300 million, court documents showed.
But Mr. Adoke denied the allegations, saying the EFCC knew the facts of the case but was deliberately muddling them up to confuse “gullible” Nigerians and malign him.
In his petition to Mr. Malami, the former AGF asked his successor to save him from “unwarranted attacks and dehumanising treatment” just because he “chose to serve” his “fatherland.”
He told the attorney-general that some other former government officials took part in the controversial deal and gave approvals.
“It will be recalled that the Terms of Settlement encapsulating details of the Settlement between the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and Malabu Oil & Gas Limited (Malabu) was executed on 30th November 2006.
“The Terms of Settlement, which was later, reduced into a Consent Judgment of the Federal High Court; Abuja was brokered by our predecessor in office, Chief Bayo Ojo, SAN and signed on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria by the then Honourable Minister of State, for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Edmund Daukoru, during the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR.”
He wondered why the EFCC had not invited those officials, especially since they did not deny their alleged roles.
The spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for comments Monday afternoon. His known telephone lines were switched off.
FIERCE DENIAL
But Mr. Obasanjo, who clocked 80 earlier this month, admonished Mr. Adoke to concentrate on rendering accounts of his actions while in public service and stop dropping his name in the matter.

“Adoke and others should not drag me into a matter I know nothing about,” Mr. Obasanjo said. “If they have been asked to answer questions over decisions they took while in office, they should do that honourably.
“They should not bring Obasanjo into an Etete deal. I was not part of any such deal.”
Mr. Obasanjo said it was inappropriate for any government functionary to “appropriate to himself or herself what he or she is in charge of.”
“If I hold that view, I could not have approved a deal with Dan Etete. What Etete did is the height of corruption. He appropriated the asset to himself illegally, illegitimately and immorally,” Mr. Obasanjo said.
PREMIUM TIMES had reported how Mr. Etete as petroleum minister in 1998 awarded the oil block to Malabu, a company which he partly owned.
The administration of Mr. Obasanjo granted approval for the re-award of OPL 245 block to Malabu Oil and Gas Ltd., but when he was reminded of this fact on Monday, the former president stood his ground, saying he could not recall assenting to such a deal.
“I can’t remember giving approval that the block be given back to Etete,” Mr. Obasanjo said.
Mr. Obasanjo challenged anyone to produce proof that he took part in returning the oil field to Malabu, saying Mr. Ojo and Mr. Daukoru might be in better position to explain what actually transpired.
“We gave it back to Malabu? On what ground? Do you have any such evidence?
“Ask Bayo Ojo and Edmund Daukoru what really happened because the stand I took at the time was unassailable.

“If Daukoru has evidence that I approved that the block be given back to Malabu or Etete, let him produce it.
“If it is proven that I indeed approved the deal, I will be willing to apologise to Nigerians. But we have to get to the bottom of it all,” the former president said.
‘PRESIDENTIAL APPROVAL’
PREMIUM TIMES reporting had shown how Edmund Daukoru, the minister of state for Petroleum during the Obasanjo administration, wrote to Shell retrieving the block, and then re-awarding same to Malabu in what he described as a product of out-of-court settlement with Malabu.
That action triggered a massive lawsuit by Shell and Eni.
Available documents, including an award letter, signed by Mr. Daukoru, claimed that the former president authorised the return of OPL 245 to Malabu. Mr. Obasanjo says he doubts the integrity of the letters that emanated from Mr. Daukoru, now a traditional ruler in Bayelsa.
“We refer to the above subject matter and are delighted to convey to you that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces having concluded a review of your legal claims for the return of oil block 245 (OPL 245) has graciously approved and directed as follows:
“That the federal government of Nigeria is amendable to an out of course settlement of the claims comprised in the legal proceedings commenced by Malabu Oil and Gas Ltd. and consequently has agreed to settle your legal claims for the return of the oil block constituted as OPL 245.
“The said oil block 245 (OPL) shall from the date hereof and with immediate effect, be returned to MALABU OIL AND GAS LTD with full and total reinstatement of all its rights thereto.
“Any and all previous decision inconsistent with or purporting to deprive MALABU OIL AND GAS LTD of its rights over the totality of the concessions in the said OPL 245 shall stand absolutely and totally rescinded as if they had never been made,” Mr. Daukoru said in the December 2, 2006 letter, with reference number: HMSPR/TA/008.
As part of the settlement, Mr. Daukoru said Malabu would withdraw its pending case against the Nigerian government from the courts and pay a total sum of $210 million for signature bonus including the $2 million previously paid by the firm.
Malabu never paid that signature bonus.
Mr. Dakouru also said Malabu “shall be free to assign, pledge or deal in any way with its restored rights over OPL 245, in whole or in part to any 3rd party” in accordance with Nigerian law.
To appease Shell, Mr. Daukoru said the Obasanjo administration had “decided to award Shell Nigeria Ultra Deep Ltd. a present concessionaire an alternative oil block with comparable potential and hydrocarbon prospectivity (sic).”
Indeed, in a letter dated December 1, 2006, which was also personally signed by him, Mr. Daukoru told Shell that it should back down on all claims to OPL 245, promising to grant the Dutch oil giant another field with similar crude potentials.
“Shell is to forego block 245 to Malabu while government provides a mutually acceptable substitute of comparable potential against the $210 million, which Shell has already paid or will be expected to pay as signature bonus,” Mr. Daukoru said in the letter he addressed to Basil Omiyi, the Managing Director of Shell Petroleum Development Company at the time. The letter had reference number: HMSPR/TA/007.
PREMIUM TIMES could not reach Mr. Daukoru on Monday to clarify if he indeed got Mr. Obasanjo’s approval to take the decisions and to weigh in on the integrity of that award letter.
However, knowledgable oil and gas sources who worked with the former minister wondered if he could have taken such actions without presidential approval.
The then attorney general, Bayo Ojo, could also not be reached on what legal opinion was available for the transaction. Aides familiar with his schedules said he was “traveling and will be expected back in town next week.”
Shell and Eni paid the total of $1.1 billion in 2011 in a deal brokered by Mr. Adoke.
Mr. Adoke authorised the transfer of the $1.1 billion paid by the oil firms into private accounts of Mr. Etete, who further transferred a large part to Mr. Abubakar.
Investigators suggested Mr. Abubakar might have acted as a front for some officials of the Goodluck Jonathan administration, including Mr. Adoke. ‎
Shell, Eni, Mr. Adoke and Mr. Etete, who initially approved the lease award of the OPL 245 while he was petroleum minister in 1998, have all denied wrongdoings.
But Italian prosecutors said late last year they had enough grounds to charge Shell, Eni, and their executives alongside Nigerians involved in the controversial deal for fraud in Milan.
In separate charges filed late 2016, the EFCC accused Mr. Adoke and Mr. Etete of defrauding Nigeria in the OPL 245 deal.
The Department of Petroleum Resources said last December that Mr. Adoke and other officials of the Jonathan administration who participated in the concession of the lucrative oil field to Shell and Eni did not follow due process.
Mr. Adoke, who is currently in the Netherlands for study, had maintained his innocence and pledged to make himself available for trial. He is however yet to make himself available for interrogation or attend trial since the matter began.
The Nigerian government in January repossessed the lucrative oil block, which is believed to hold about nine billion barrels of crude oil and even larger quantity of natural gas.

uncle you should know that this isn't about the state of electricity in Nigeria. The higher the altitude the lower the oxygen percentage in the atmosphere, so for a plane flying at about 35kft it needs artificial air conditioning to maintain it's internal temperature to sustain life.. therefore it's not the Ac you use in ya room and offices they're talking about... pls.. those guys fainted not cos of heat but lack of adequate oxygen...
Tell them oh. I think basic science should be taught at all level till university

From the comments of many people here one can easily tell they have never travelled out of their localities, not to talk of leaving the country. An international flight tens of thousands above sea level operating without a functional A/C system, and some are asking if Nigerians have A/C in their homes. What a shame!
Guy I tire oh. some people just want to comment even if it is nonsense

“Game of Thrones” actor Neil Fingleton, who was named Britain’s tallest man, has died of suspected heart failure at 36, according to the Londonbased Tall Persons Club.

Standing at 232.5 centimetres (seven feet and six inches), he was best known for his role of Mag The Mighty in an episode of the hit American television show.

“Sadly it has come to our attention that Neil Fingleton, Britain’s Tallest man, passed away on Saturday,” a statement posted on the Tall Persons Club Facebook page read.
“Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family,” it also said.

Born in 1980 in Durham, northern England, Fingleton started his career as a professional basketball player for teams in the United States and Spain, after being awarded a scholarship at the University of North Carolina.

But an injury forced him into early retirement in 2007.

He then started an acting career, appearing in feature films including “XMen: First Class” and “Jupiter Ascending,” and in television on Doctor Who. In 2014, he joined the cast of “Game of Thrones”.

Tributes poured in on social media.

“Game of Thrones” actor Ian Whyte took to Twitter writing: “Very sad to hear of the tragic passing of Neil Fingleton. He followed his dreams. Rest in peace”.

Gary Windle, a fan of the show, tweeted a picture of himself with the actor, adding: “Rip to the giant that is Neil Fingleton, Mag the Mighty, Game of Thrones, rest in peace mate, gutted”.

In a 2006 interview to the Guinness Book of Records, Fingleton explained that he was seven feet tall by the time he was 11 and that he stopped growing at 18.

“I have never been self-conscious about my height,” he said at the time.

“I never let my height play a negative part in my life… This is the only bad thing about being tall the stupid remarks and questions. Other than that, being tall is great.”

@Rikze,

Next time, make a youtube video of the de-shelling process of the giantsea creature ( sea turtle ) Viewers will be interested on how you take out the shell.

A youtube tutorial will be more educative to students.

The same goes to those guyz killing, snakes, crocodiles, lizards etc and making pepper soup with it. Why not create a youtube videos of the slaying and cooking processes and upload it online.

Photograph or pictures is not enough.
Nice one
