I am still weighing my options on how to recover my money from this cretin. To date, I have sent 640,000 with no car, no refund and no communication.

it all depends on how you know her. its better u trace the source of how you know her. she might not even be in jacksonville as claimed. Talkless of knowing where she lives

I am still trying to figure out how 2 different pics from 2 different countries can be mixed up especially when one is not bought. But i will take your word for it. Lets see the pics of the one that was brought to Naija when it was in Europe. At least if you live in the US you must have the pics of what you bought in Europe or just go and check the sent email to the client. And we will be looking very close.

The Volvo you supposedly bought for a client and showing the pictures are 2 different cars. One is American Spec and the other is European spec.

Rebuilding the engine is not bad however IN NIGERIA CONTEXT you will be faced with two major issues.

1. Getting Quality Parts

2. Getting capable builder

Its almost impossible to get both right in Nigeria. Most of the auto parts are fakes cos either people don't want to pay good money for quality parts or sellers are greedy.

Either way, its not a good look for you.

Buy a quality engine that has not been touched and move on

Lexus R330 has always been a top rated SUV...very reliable and technically advanced. The biggest problem in maintaining this vehicle in Nigeria is not money...but finding qualified mechanics and electrical technicians....then if you do...getting the original spare parts...not suubstitutes. Now here you are trying to buy a converted R330.....a car that never sells cheap even after 8 years old....and owners never want to part with them. There is a very good reason why the person wants it off his hand....most likely electrical problems been draining his bank account. Stay clear...no matter the price.

Sorry if i misquote you. The problem here is that the buyer asked for quote including clearing but you quoted only to get to Lagos. WITHOUT SPECIFYING SO. Any reasonable person will believe the quote INCLUDES CLEARING.
