grin grin Hohoho. Frauds that were a core backbone that won the world cup, back to back euros, 4 champions league titles and multiple la liga trophies? Frauds that constantly alongside Messi turned the Santiago bernabeu into our training ground? Great joke. By what basis pls?
I detest Xavi. So I wont be against those calling him a fraud. I like Iniesta though. A sensible dude rather than that seperatist that ran to Qatar.

That said even Ozil outperformed those 2 combined while he was still in Laliga

Modric did the weight lifting for Croatia compared to a Spain that had a repertoire of players from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and the likes.

tesppidd:
Yes if they have us beat by 1-0 or 2-1 we still top on head to head.

Even if they beat us 2-0 we still top on goals difference.

But if they beat us something like 3-1 or 4-2 or by 3 goals margin, they top us on head to head.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by usbcable(m): 9:15pm On Dec 07, 2020
Ronaldo to score a brace tomorrow. Gifting Juve the 1st spot.
GBAM
tesppidd:
Tomorrow's is clearly our most important fixture in this group stage.

Lose heavily to Juve and we instantly face teams like Bayern, Liverpool, City and PSG.
And not just that,
We get to play the decisive fixture AWAY shocked

But top the group and the worst we get would be maybe Man U, Atalanta or Porto.

Needless to say;
Because of the characters involved, Tomorrow is pregnant with bants.

We either receive heavily or we dish out heavily.

What is a lie about the bolded part of my comment?
Could he not be out of the starting line up and still make 33 appearances?

After week 10 or so he was more or less out of the starting line up.

Every of their player in the starting line up played with the team last season and won the league title.
Zidane their coach was also with them last season.

What about us?

We had in our starting line up, Pedri, Fati, Coutinho, Dest, who weren't in the team last season; and we had a new coach.
How is Coutinho and Dest in thesame subset as Fati in the realm of "weren't in the team"?

Fati started the season well last season but before week 10 or so, he was more or less out of the starting line up.

Even during very important fixtures he was left out.
Summary.

he was in the team last season. He had 33 appearances last season (24 in league, 3 in CDR, 5 in UCL and 1 other match).

I don't know if I've been giving too many excuses;

But it's Real Madrid. And despite their recent poor form, they are still Real Madrid with all of their starting line up top internationals and proffesssionals.

They are not Real Mallorca.

Every of their player in the starting line up played with the team last season and won the league title.
Zidane their coach was also with them last season.

What about us?

We had in our starting line up, Pedri, Fati, Coutinho, Dest, who weren't in the team last season; and we had a new coach.

And like I've said a million times that was only week 5 of the season.

This team will do well; they need some time to gel and become a team.

A 'new' team doesn't just come and beat Real Madrid as if they are Levante; and then when you thought they had a chance, we concede a penalty.

Did you notice what happened after the penalty?
We completely dominated the game for almost the remaining half until they were able to exploit the space that has emerged at the back.
where was Fati last season?

LOL. Watching football can be so stressful at times. Especially when there is a lot on the line.

I know wetin my eye see for last season final vs PSG. It got to a point i had to leave the room to save my heart. I no enjoy that match a bit. Na neutrals dey enjoy final.

I don't know how i would have coped if Bayern had lost that match. Considering how well we played to get to the final, a loss would have been so damaging.
Thats why when i hear someone dies of heart attack from football, i tend to know where it came from.

Side note, Madridistas should cultivate the habit of never giving up just like out players on the pitch, I can never turn off a 0-1 game against us till the final whistle tbh..we are not Cules
i ALMOST DIED literally in the second final against ATM.

In the first I watched with my neighbor. No light and his gen had issues, so he watched in my house.

The next final LA Undecima, my heart was palpitating so hard when it was extra time. and I was alone. I didnt want to risk an heart attack at a young age as it was beating so hard and fast. I just switched off the TV and closed my eyes.

Fortunately I woke up just before Ronaldo took his penalty. But missed that of Lord Vasquez.

happy days.

Respect to Tito Villanova....
100 point was cool but we lost Thiago Alcantara.

I was suprised!

Thanks Luìs Enrique for the 2015 treble and the REMUNTANDA ( i can never forget ) but you abandoned la mmasia. Alex Grimaldo the then Barca B captain was sold 4 peanut.

I was suprised!!

Fast-forward to 2018 Barca collapsed in ROME. I literally told my friends even Madrid fans that Ernesto Valverde will be fired. They all agreed with me..
To my greatest surprise Valverde was given a second chance!!!

Under Valverde , Barca collapsed for the second time, this time...against Liverpool. yet they didn't sack Valverde. At this point i realised that the Barca Board have reached the climax of administrative and managerial cluelessness. now i know why Rossel went to prison

Can't forget Arthur Melo's man of the match other than Messi performance against a high pressing Tottenham team in Wembley. Barca sold him , bought a declining Pjamic.

Nwanne i was shocked....

Suarez of 2020 is different from the Suarez of 2015. A declined 2020 Suarez is better than the Barca version of GRIZZY. Hypocrisy and incompetency is when you say that Suarez is surplus to requirement , has declined , that he's on high wage therefore you terminate his contract but include ROBERTO , ALBA , UMTITI & BUSQUET in your team.

Well , i'm not surprised.
I sincerely 8-2 remind you of this years match against Bayern.

Please include in this your wonderful writeup

Any club which is always a top contender for the same prize you seek (La Liga) is your rival. You don't further arm a rival with a dangerous weapon or any weapon at all.
Barça, Madrid and Athletico. It's always been these three slugging it out in the league over the past seven years especially so how are they not rivals?

Sometimes to tell history unbiased, we don't have to sieve out the uncomfortable truth.

Ronaldo has a history of making comments like,"If only the players around me could play up to my level, we'd have won this match" as his defense when his team loses. Messi has never done so and would never throw his teammates under the boss to exonerate himself of any blame.

This has to be pointed out to further corroborate the stance that Messi rarely ever criticises the club and when he does, it's never been from a selfish standpoint.

Are you going to fault me for pointing out Ronaldo's behavioural shortcomings now?
Stop consoling yourself with a player that has no strings attached to the abysmal performance of your team and the Star player in the last 5 UCLs.

And stop day dreaming of where he said anything of such you were up there.

Just focus on the vitriol you need to pour on players you want kicked out of Barca.

Mehn suarez's farewell speech was so heartbreaking. I really feel sorry for him.

I don't understand why he couldn't accept lower wages if he really wanted to stay at barca. I also don't like how he was forced to leave, forced to leave to a rival again for that matter.
ATM is not Barca's rival. Barca has not lost a match to ATM in 10 years.

Messi rarely ever criticises Barcelona. He doesn't even criticize his teammates when things go south. He gets angry and that's it. He's never thrown any player under the bus. Ronaldo has done that.
In the last five years, Messi has criticized Barça for these reasons which are valid:
1. Luis Enrique's style of play and training style which he says hurts players and isn't the Barcelona way;
2. Letting Neymar go and not getting a good replacement;
3. Failing to resign Neymar;
4. The transfer options of the club;
5. Bartomeu;
6. Transfer targets
7. Pushing a club legend like Suarez out that way.
All these are consistent with what the fanbase have been saying. Haven't we all been criticizing Bartomeu for over a year before that Messi interview? Haven't we all touched on all the issues above?

Never forget Messi' first rebellion against Pep Guardiola before they mended fences was because of the way Pep pushed out people he looked up to (Ronaldinho and Eto) out of Barça unceremoniously. It's the reason both ex-players are fiercely defensive of Messi till date. He stood up for them even as a teenager while others like Pique, Iniesta and Xavi kept quiet.

Suarez should have been phased out of the team with respect. Give him a role and phase him out gradually like they did to Iniesta. Suarez deserves a proper send-off party from the fans. If you think otherwise then you are a football fan without a soul.

Messi' rare criticism of the club has always been justified. Never for selfish reasons.

Pique is a Barça legend and fanatic but he's only vocal when defending Barça and Catalonia in inter-club and inter-region beefs.
Of what relevance, Importance, and usefulness is the bolded part of your comment.
Just as the same board you accuse of lack of focus you too just exhibited same.
