Amoto94: “When I started dealing with Chelsea [Jorginho] was signing with City, we were able to intervene and bring him to Chelsea. They struggled, fans and journalists, to understand this boy’s game. Then he exploded in popularity also in England, now I have seen that he’s been made [vice-]captain. He deserves it.”
“If he wins the European Championship too, it is clear that he would become [a candidate for the Ballon d’Or]. He is a refined player, probably not understandable by everyone. You have to put your eyes on him and only watch him in the game. He is so good and intelligent that he makes everything seem easy, rarely do you. something spectacular remains in the eye. This is its greatness.”
“In my opinion Jorginho is more suitable for [a midfield] three than two, he is very intelligent and adapts to everything. Kantè is monstrous, at very high speed he makes 3.5 km while the average is 2.2. He recovers a thousand balls, he can play two or three.”

Majority of Yoruba People do not see him as Someone capable to champion the Cause or lead the Nation. Except he's just a Tool, Igboho can't ever lead Yoruba Nation in any Form.
As for Kanu, he had the opportunity but missed it. When he came to Nigeria the very first time, he had huge followership. He was like a god to most Igbo Youths, wherever he directed them, they were ready to go.
He had the Opportunity to influence 2019 Elections but he stupidly missed it. Kanu should have aligned with APGA, support their Candidates based on formal Agreement that they would fight at all Levels for the Cause.

nihilistjnr: I'm guessing you're in the dressing room with them as Deputy Southgate, for you to know exactly where Rice should be in the system.
Another thing is that because the camera follows the ball, it's almost impossible to see positional play from DMs and CBs outside individual sequences of play. The only way to watch the system is to be at the match - ask anybody who goes to games...so again, I don't know what you're seeing o, but all I know is that facts are facts.
Let's leave the matter now as I think you've made your point enough, and I have made mine Fair enough |

nihilistjnr: The reason you cannot go on an 'unnecessary wrangle' with me is because you realise there is nowhere to go.
A player can only lose possession in two ways, if he misplaces a pass or of he is disposessed.
Thoughout this tournament, Rice has averaged 91% pass completion and is disposessed only once every 3 games.
In the England game you said you watched diligently yesterday, Rice had 90% pass accuracy and was not dispossessed at all.
Such a person cannot be described by any of sound mind as being sloppy in possession, at least in the Euros or specifically in yesterday's game.
Like I said I'm not trying to prove anything to you. Like you, I'm just stating my views that your judgement is questionable. Dazall This one time. I would explain in basic parlance, maybe you would see where I'm coming from. One good quality I like about Jorginho which I have praised him for here is his excellent positional judgement. I see a lot of talk here about traffic wardens but you only ignore how an organized system should run with all spaces on the pitch accounted for in terms of plays and interplay. This is lacking in Rice's case. I extensively looked at him positionally and in my own assessment, he's not really in the right places; hence my use of the word sloppy in possession (Unsystematic). That he makes 1000 passes or 100% completion rate has no basis here as he's sorta making them from where he shouldnt be. I have also criticised Mount over this especially during Lampard era where I talked about how he was always clogging other attackers space. Positional awareness is something I like in my DM's The recovery I also speak of accounts for both. |

nihilistjnr: What does dictionary have to do with football?
Rice has 91% pass completion, and averages 46 passes a game. He is disposessed 0.4 times a match, which essentially means that he is disposessed once in 3 games.
Don't bring dictionary here, explain in football terms how such a player is sloppy in possession. Again we are saying different things. Read my post again. What you speak of has no correlation with my post. My first paragraph clearly sets the context. I'm not gonna go on an unnecessary wrangle with you |

nihilistjnr: Rice with 91% pass completion and that highest average passes per game in the whole England front 6 is sloppy in possession?
Only Mason Mount makes more tackles per game than Rice, and only Mings makes more interceptions, so how is his recovery poor?
Mehn the stats just showed that your judgement is actually very questionable.
Man said sloppy in possession for a 91% pass accuracy player.
Na wa o We are saying two different things. I'm more about the unsystematic. Ease off on the need to criticize without fully understanding. I'm getting really tired of this whole contentious nonsense. Can I at least state my views?

Rice positional play isnt that good.
I actually took my time to watch the guy diligently all through this tournament. Although he's got very good interception qualities, He's also quite sloppy in possession and has got poor recoveries; with that Phillips guy in the middle, This is even more evident.
The most disappointing part for me is for people who criticise Jorginho citing his speed. Declan Rice Speed is really average. There is no way in hell that guy recovers with pace from a speedy attacker.
He gives a lot of long balls too, but nothing special. He's also quite physically imposing. Generally speaking, this guy isnt an upgrade on any of our current midfielders. For 35milli, I would get him as he offers us a lot of flexibility, but he's not the wondershow some have pegged him to be if you look beyond the English hype. Based on what I have seen so far, Monaco's Tchouameni is the better player for me. |

What we are disputing is the lie that this was a pass.
I mean come on brah...for starters Kimmich would be offside if he was where that ball landed
Secondly, we can see someone clearly aiming for the bottom right corner. I mean, that's exactly where he placed the goal he scored ffs ( 2nd pic)

You mean somebody in this position here is trying to pass to somebody behind him that he cannot even see?
I mean.... Every Image u put up is testament to Havertz brilliant mind and moves. Go back 2seconds and see how he makes the brilliant run. Kimmich incidentally was meant to follow up with a similar run. Positional play at its finest. This he realises when he eventually gets there. This is one of the reason why some of us heavily criticize James. These final moves are usually lacking in his case Every other thing is just your usual agenda |

timbros: This is why people, especially Donstan, always attack your opinions and it will look as if they don't like their players. You go to the extreme, even sounding ridiculous, to make your point.
Why will Havertz, from point blank range, want to assist or create chance for Kimmich who is at the back of the post? Can Kimmich score from that angle he gave that pass? Did Low or UEFA forbid Havertz to score from that position? Why I asked is because anyone that make that intelligent run that Havertz made and got the ball in that position, his only thought will be to score, nothing else. That is exactly what Havertz wanted to do - to score. And he miscued his shot which, thankfully, Kimmich scooped back.
Let us for a sec assume Havertz really had in mind to create chance for Kimmich. I that case, his decision making should be questioned big time. He has absolutely no business passing that ball in that position. He should score a goal 99 out of 100 times in that exact situation.
But knowing how intelligent Havertz is, he never intended to pass that ball. He was just unfortunate to miscue his effort (that 1 miss out of 100) which Kimmich helped him corrected.
You give intelligent analysis sometimes but when it get to Havertz matter, you just.... I don't know what to say sef. You just troway your brain What is point blank there momadaran oo There's a lot of pseudo stuff in most of your comments which I hold back from responding to most times. nihilistjnr: There is no single point in that sequence where Havertz even looks at Kimmich before he takes his shot. Pic 1 below is the start of the sequence. You can see that Havertz is in front of Kimmich looking at the ball.
He called for the ball at the near post and then ran there to make the shot. The first time he sees Kimmich is after he turned to omo iya teacher and kicked the ball to throwin. He didnt even know Kimmich was there to pass to. Funny thing is that Kimmich was unmaked all through, so Havertz hadn't called for the ball, Gosens should have sent to Kimmich at the far post for an easy tap in.
However it's clear that Germany were targeting that channel. Havertz had been making that run to the near post all game, and it's from that exact position that he scored his goal.
He missed his shot, that's a normal thing. But see where Kimmich went to rescue the ball...who creates a 'chance' to there?
Alaye dont piss on us and call it rain. Ah an. A gigantic hole in your argument. Footballers dont need to look or see their players to know where they are on the pitch |

Havertz10: I think his predator instincts are devastating in the box but I don't think that he a pure striker like haaland, see the 2nd goal against Portugal, he created it out of nothing, a true striker would have gone for goal
He chose to create a chance for his teammates
https://j.gifs.com/PjZN1W.gif Agree. Which is why there's always the false 9 thing with him and not a proper 9. He also likes to be and move around the box If we choose to play 4 atb next season, I would deploy him as a 10 or 9(if we were out of options) but if we stick with the 3-4-3, He'll be ok as the false 9. The one place I dont want to see him is on the wings especially in England where pace is all that matters to them |

DumaEmpire: This is what confuses pple. Havertz unlike some certain players doesn't go around running from pillar to post without the ball or when it's totally unnecessary. He's more interested in creating go spaces for himself than jumping up and down in the name of trying to look hardworking or creating useless work rates. His name is not Mount. There's no fire on the Mountain for him to be running up nd down for
His speed was clearly seen in the UCL finals. If he was as sluggish as people think he is there's no way he would have outpaced Zinchenko nd still was able to get to the ball before Ederson nd get it passed him. The guy is fast. But then appears slow This. An extremely eye catching guy in terms of his movement into spaces on the pitch. Knows where the ball should be and makes the right runs |
