PDP, Jonathan and his apologist are liking to a drowning man who just needs any lily to survive his submerging. The can and will say anything to survive the turbulent, shameful and perilous time of their party, after all they have nothing loose as it is very conspicuously seen the party will definitely loose come this FEBUHARI 14.

Politics9 Things You Should Throw Away by usibengate(op): 5:55pm On Jan 16, 2015
As fun as it is to buy a new dress or a fabulous pair of platform sandals, sometimes it’s even better to take a break from accumulating new stuff and purge some of the ridiculous things we tend to hold onto.

1. Memorabilia from a relationship that ended a decade ago. Still hoarding a disintegrating T-shirt that smells like his cologne? A binder of poems he wrote for you. You will always have your memories from past relationships — time to let go of the physical reminders.

2. Makeup that’s more than six months old.
Cosmetics are supposed to enhance your natural beauty, not trigger a bacterial infection.

3. Shoes that give you blister every time you wear them.
Seriously, it doesn’t matter how cute they are. There are tons of cute shoes in this world that won’t rip your flesh with each step. If they’re really, really beautiful, keep them on a shelf and treat them as pieces of art rather than a wearable torture device.

4. Goal weight clothing.
That little section of your closet reserved for the too-small items you’ll be able to wear when you reach your goal weight? Throw that stuff out, buy clothes that fit your body right now, and if you do lose weight, reward yourself with some fabulous new pieces.

5. Greeting cards from people no longer in your life.
When was the last time you opened an old Hallmark card and got a warm and fuzzy feeling from the scrawled signature of someone you haven’t talked to in 5 years? Keep meaningful cards from meaningful people, and throw out the rest.

6. The dishes you bought for your college dorm room.
Those lime green plastic tumblers have served you well. Time to upgrade, girlfriend.

7. The junk mail piling up on your counter.
This sounds like a no-brainer, but it can be surprisingly tough to stay on top of the constant stream of catalogs, political ads, and financial statements that get delivered to your mailbox. Schedule 10 minutes to sift through the pile for any important documents and then recycle the rest. Repeat weekly as necessary.

8. Underwear with stains and stretched-out elastic.
You don’t have to wear sexy lingerie under every day, but what you wear under you clothing really does make a difference in how you look and how you feel. Underwear, bras, and socks should be clean, stretchy, comfortable, and flattering. Throw away anything that doesn’t fit that criterion.

9. Books you will never read again.
I tend to hoard college textbooks because I think it will make me look smarter, but come on, those Psych 101 books with “Used” stickers on the spines aren’t fooling anyone. Reserve the space on your bookshelf for books that you absolutely love and plan to read again. Anything else should be given away.

I believe you sir, you are vindicated. For Buhari to pass through the back door into the military means he has highly place pple in the society. As such it cannot be said or it is misplaced to say Buhari could not afford just primary school back then, let alone secondary school. Secondly how does he climbed the ranks and files of the military without basic primary leaving school certificate or WAEC and got to major General. Because I know as once a military man, private popularly called recruit end as RSM now warrant Office ll. Food for thought for PDP e-rats
PoliticsPresent Government Is Clueless --- Former Archibishop Of Lagos, Cardinal Okojie by usibengate(op): 8:45pm On Jan 15, 2015
A former Catholic Archibishop of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, on Thursday said the present government in Nigeria is clueless.

Okogie said that the country needed an urgent rescue from what he described as “imminent brink of irredeemable destruction.”

The cleric therefore called on all Nigerians to wake up from their slumber and face the reality by electing into the position of leadership only persons “who know what to do.”

He added that effort must be made to educate the average Nigerian to choose their leader based on capability and not on the basis of ethnic or religious affiliations.

Okogie spoke in Lagos at the 11th edition of the Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture/Symposium, where he was the chairman of the occasion.

He decried the present prevalent insecurity in the country and the nation’s economic woes.

Okogie said, “There is extra urgency to rescue Nigeria. This is the time when every right thinking Nigerian must pray to hate the present situation strong enough such as to desire the fortitude to act right.

“This time does not allow for indifference. All must rise to save Nigeria from the brink of irredeemable destruction. This is the time we must play politics of the best, for the best position, in order to guarantee the best for our nation. Let only those with the fear of God and love of their neighbours lead Nigeria; only those who know what to do should sit at the helms of affairs. Enough of mediocrity, enough of failures, enough of nepotism, enough of ethnicity.”

Okogie, while describing the late Fawehinmi, a human rights lawyer, as courageous, principled, selfless and a detribalised statesman, said he was sure that Fawehinmi was now restless in his grave at the present state of the nation.

PoliticsSee 5 Crucial Questions Obasanjo Asked Jonathan In Abeokuta by usibengate(op): 10:01am On Jan 15, 2015
Reactions and allegations keep tracking the Monday meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

It had been previously reported that what was supposed to be a peace meeting ended in fiasco. Some sources said that Obasanjo was not feeling comfortable during the encounter because of the President’s recent provocative utterances against prominent Nigerian statesmen, including him.

The others however added that the meeting “was frank and straight to the issues at hand”.

Still, it soon emerged that following the occasion OBJ declared his current mindset to be ABJ , or “Anything But Jonathan”. It was a clear indication that the whole thing did not go well.

The latest update on the meeting was exclusive provided by Leadership, according to which the ex-President put the acting President on the hot seat in his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta.

Together with Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo, also present at the meeting, Obasanjo asked Jonathan questions which he had earlier thrown up in his correspondence to the country leader.

See the FIVE questions of crucial importance which were allegedly heard behind the closed doors. It seemed like a court interrogation as Obasanjo asked Jonathan to “tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”.

1. Did you agree to run for only one term or not?

2. What did you tell me was your reason for not going after Boko Haram insurgents even when I told you this will boomerang?

3. What happened to Nigeria’s external reserve and Sovereign Wealth Fund?

4. Did you give licence to Niger Delta militants (Dokubo and Tompolo) to import arms in the name of their privately owned companies? If so, for what reason?

5. Did you not get correspondence from the United States consulate that a certain citizen named Buruji Kashamu is indicted for drug trafficking? Why did you appoint the same Kashamu as South West leader of PDP rather than hand him over to the US? And did the PDP give automatic Senate ticket to a wanted and convicted drug baron?

The information about the answers to these questions is however yet to be obtained.

Meanwhile, as less than a months is left before the presidential elections in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties signed a document to avoid actions that could endorse violence during and after the polls

It was the forensic scans that Oshiomhole brought that proves otherwise. But the silent of Anenih was what brought the winning to Oshiomhole. Meanwhile Anenih did not give or provide Oshiomhole with any winning documents

PoliticsCriticisms Against Oshiomhole Unfair – Edo PDP Chieftain Reacted by usibengate(op): 9:31pm On Jan 14, 2015
BENIN—FORMER member of the House of Representatives and chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Mr. West Ehioge-Idahosa, has said that despite the criticisms against Governor Adams Oshiomhole by the PDP, the governor has given the state a face lift in the past six years.
He urged the governor to ensure that a credible candidate succeeds him in office in order not to draw the state backward. The three-term lawmaker, who was one of the senatorial aspirants of the PDP in Edo South, in the just concluded primaries of the party, spoke in an interview with Vanguard.
He said: “There is no question of whether the governor has performed even though you want to deny the governor some credit because he is in All Progressives Congress, APC, while I am in the PDP. Conscience will not allow you to completely deny him his credit. When you fly into Benin, for example, and take an aerial view of Benin, you will see that things have changed, it is no longer what it used to be.
“When you go out of Benin and go to the local government areas and see what had been done there, you cannot but appreciate him. I had been tempted to deny him some credit myself especially when I got angry and left the APC for the PDP. Each time I see primary schools in the rural areas, machines working on infrastructure, I always tell myself, notwithstanding the difference in platform, that this man is doing well.
“No man is God, no man is perfect. Many will accuse him of taking some erratic decisions, but for a mobilizer, someone who gave all his life from the labour back ground, you must allow some excesses to be excused on his part. In terms of focus on governance, I will say that infrastructurally, he has done well.”
