I think it has to do with the Voting Right Acts (VRA) where American African has their voices for years.

Since VRA was the first signed into law by the US President Lyndon B. That is my opinion, since I am the first time paying attention to Politics last year understanding what's going on. Basically for my answer, RPM normally uses that file format ".rpm" package while Synaptic/Debian uses that file format ".deb" also does work on ".rpm" too.

Do you aware that you can run Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop or Internet Explorer on Linux OS? Ever heard of WINE, Win4lin, Crossover, or VMware? These are all virtual machines (emulators) which make it possible to run a guest OS on a different OS. In any case, have you tried Openoffice? For me, it is much better and functional than MS Office. It even natively allows you to save your documents as .pdf not needing the expensive full adobe acrobat product. And with the new version 2.0 Abi which has an inbuilt data base program much like microsoft access, I don't even need to use MS office anymore.

Let me answer this web accessibility question: How many visually impaired people use the internet?

Both in US and UK under Federal or Government agencies are required using accessibility for visually impaired and hearing impaired PC users--- roughly 5 to 10 millions blind people in the USA and Europe/India/China use the internet.

Blind people use the internet by connecting a screen reader. A screen reader is a voice software that looks at the computer code making up the page and reads this out to the blind user. It allows to move around the page by tabbing to Headings, paragraphs, links, etc.

For anyone who is completely blind, the Internet is a God Send. It gives them back their independence and allows them to shop, find information, read e-books etc. without a helper to make sure they don't get lost.

In the UK and many other countries there is now a legal requirement for all business web sites to be accessible to Screen Reader users as well as people with other disabilities.

By the way, you probably are not aware the fact that i, myself, am hearing impaired (deaf) web designer/developer. I am strongly familiar with the American with the Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), a civil rights for disabled people (deaf, blind, wheelchair, crippled, etc) to protect them against discrimination on job, housing, transportation, and public places.

The sad part that all of webmasters/web developers (in USA, Europe, and other countries) are violated with disability/accessibilty law to provide hearing impaired (deaf) PC users the closed captioned"CC" on all video files and written transcripts on all audio files. They(webmaster/developers) do not understand what deaf people complain about the lacking of captioned video files/audio transcripts deaf people need for 15 YEARS. It has not solved anyway.

You see every Windows OS and Linux OS provide accessibility for blind and deaf pc users since US American with the Disabilities Act law went effective on July 1990 with the US President George Bush Senior signed.

I maintan both Dreamweaver and HTML-Kit using CSS coding much easier plus CSS validator too!

I suggest you to download Wubi Installer software first (click here for details) before you download RedHat Linux in case of you change your mind to uninstall Linux OS later that will make your life much easier.(Wubi Installer will remove Linux partition for you automatically)

Without installing Wubi Installer, you have to follow step-by-step instruction with using your own Windows OS cd to boot with Recovery selection and fixmbr command in order to remove specified partition where Linux installed then reboot your system manually. Of course, I also provide remove Linux OS instruction on Computer section mentioned above same link (download-Wubi Installer) just scroll down for manual instruction part.

Wubi Installer will work all linux distro (Ubuntu, RedHat, Fedora, BSD, MintLinux, goes on. . .)

Remember: RedHat Linux OS will work sharing the same Linux command/kernal as well as Ubuntu Linux OS too.

After reading this, I assume that you are in Nigeria using ULTRA SURF software that is designated for USA or Canada IP addresses only---does not work in Nigeria. I guess!! Maybe I am wrong! I do not live in Nigeria!

Most on my paid contract jobs i was hired as web designer/developer are Design agencies and government sectors with in-house designing departments, not Advertising Agency.

Hope this clear to you @smartsoft! I agreed with @whalewale. You have to be cautioned when it comes to Design agency and Ad agency depend on job description of graphic designer they hire you for the job.

Generally, the position of Graphic designers do work both Design agency and Advertising agency.
