In my good old days as a romancelander , I enjoyed some of this threads that had to do with wooing, over time the section lost its flair due to invasion of kids, so I left the section.


I participated in the inaugural edition(the OP was de-xplorer then). you know what ? I wooed a girl I never liked for once- we were enemies then; we just don't meet .


So it's for the fun of it. I can't stand anything like this cos I don't like attention and publicity.

Following from the ongoing wooing challenge selection process, we have compiled the rules and schedule for this year's edition. There are a few twists and also few modifications which we set up to cover up for the loopholes the past events have experienced and we hope this new development will make it more interesting and fun more than it has always been. Let's get straight to business.

MODIFICATION

We are going to be adopting the anonymous wooing system. Therefore, all contenders should send their wooing lines, images, gifs, voice notes or any item they wish to use in wooing to us through mail and it will be posted by us on the wooing day scheduled for them. The girl involved will in turn pick her choice after reading them.

NOTE: This only applies to participants with contenders. Other participants with no contenders are allowed to adopt the open wooing system, which means they are to post their lines themselves.

RULES

1) Wooing lines should not be more than 150 words and proper use of english tenses should be employed generously.

2) There should be no lifting, copying or direct transfer of lines from other sources e.g google. We appreciate originality, offenders will be disqualified. Cc: joseph1832

3) All participants who are to mail their wooing lines are not allowed to mention their moniker or give a clue of who they are in their lines. Just do your best to "wow" her with your words.

4) Every participant, both the wooers and the wooee should be present on the day of their wooing. Please if for anything you are not going to be available on your designated day, do well to inform us and on time.

5) Every participant should endeavor to keep to time. We shall not tolerate waste of time as it slows down the fun of the event.

6) There shall be no room for more than one winner. i.e the wooee is only allowed to pick one man as her winner. We are simply trying to promote the one man one wife system
