Reading the book of Acts one will see that there was no emphasis on tithe.

In 2 corinthians 9:7, the aposle paul made it clear that we should resolve in our heart what we want to give. we should not give grudginly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Giving for christians is voluntary not compulsary as in the tithing arrangement of old.

Pls, do not let anyone decieve you as to tithe.Give from your heart, and God will accept it.
