Imagine being able to grow one's crops in even the driest of deserts. That would be a total game changer. Scientists in the Netherlands say they are close to a breakthrough which will allow crops to be grown in deserts. Many say this could completely alter life on the African continent and even end hunger. World leaders meeting at the climate talks in Germany are being urged to commit to more funding for new agricultural projects in drought-stricken parts of the world. Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from the Netherlands. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/11/dutch-scientists-close-breakthrough-method-growing-crops-deserts-171109134650353.html |
I dislike any speech credited to someone on behalf of another. Best say it by yourself or it's unimportantly just some bollocks. |

Wow wow wow....He should change his name to "Oriyomi" |
They are just disturbing this fine lady for nothing. |
She aite. I love how she keep herself far from controversies unlike the parrot Ayeesha Curry. Royalties needn't talk much. All hail the King! |
I can bet most of them don't know the meaning of a transgender. For their mind, that's just another pretty lady. Mehn, illiterates full this country. |
ernieboy:That balance is actually there now if you choose to see it. Trump-Putin mutual respect for each others might. Look at Syria for instance, both country have stakes in it with boots on the ground and the US under Trump isn't particularly interested in Asaad's exit which is Russia's stance too, everyone is happy. Normalcy in the international system is more pronounced now oddly as it seems during this regime. The only headache seem to be the North Korea problem. |
ernieboy:It's just a cycle of life and natural order in our cosmos that there would be powers and there must be Super powers. All the big fives in UN security council are guilty of the art of dominance & intimidation of neighboring states or perceived enemies. Not exclusive to the United States. But, the beautiful thing is that no civilization lasts forever (Romans, Egyptians, Persians) and when this power wears off, smaller states with potential steps up to the plate. Would you subscribe to the idea of every nation on earth no matter how small owing Nuclear weapons? It makes no sense. I'm sure criticism of DPRK program wouldn't have gathered some much contempt if that country is a rationally led one. No country has launched a nuclear warhead since Nagasaki despite having thousands in store but North Korea is a rabid country with an unstable leadership that may just do that if not curtailed. |
aaronson:You guys are too quick to blame Trump but never reprimand the pyscho called Kim. On numerous occasions, the United States had expressed interest of diplomatic solution to this whole crisis but this fat fuzk always responded with aggression and ridiculous missile strikes. It is DPRK that needs to stop intimidating her neighbors. All these muscle flexing foreign policy to the US & her allies is not necessary. They should let go the Korean war hangover. |
BAILMONEY:Baba how you take know say na hoe she be? |
So sad. Many NGOs act all compassionate at first, only to use the victims to enrich themselves through donations. May God bless the ones aboveboard. |
Keep your mouth zipped or risk subjecting yourself to manipulations & disdainful treatments in the long run. |
Andrewgame42:Your girlfriend's own is preferred. |
Just look at how people are masturbating on a Christian thread over a harmless question. Everyone being free to contribute even the stupid ones but that's okay, we don't chop heads off on the basis of blasphemy here. Seun would rather gag us by having us make an unnecessary pledge before posting in a certain section though. Caveman mentality. |
This is pretty straightforward na. God has used circumstances to help you see through her leeching nature. You need nobody to tell you to drop her like a bag of cement and quit subjecting yourself to mental stress. |
FaithZion2:And you too miss. |
Omo toh sure lol. |
Omo see epistle my nigga poured on women. Truthfully, women are creatures of emotions, when their emotion is unstable, they can do crazy shyt. Cheating is bullshyt though, be it a man or woman. That's why it pays to settle with someone you respectfully love & would never want to lose vice versa. |
I don't feel all that going down one's knees style. It's unafrican jor. |
desreek9:Lol, me neither. Somebody will just be in his office in Abuja cooking up stats like we living in the said state don't know better. |
Wonder what LASG is doing about these numerous container-related accidents. |
FarahAideed:Looool, why nao? |
Depressing news is never in short supply from my dear state Imagine a level 15 civil servant earning 90k. Graduates on level 8 earns between 30-35k yet many are being owned, especially in LGAs. Accursed state. The chunky part of the electorates nevertheless would still vote for Saraki & his goonies come 2019 |
Sadly that's not happening anytime soon. The Igbos burned bridges already. |
Homosexuality is a disease. Nothing compares to that good good puss. |
Rozaytee:'she' please. |
I like the way you guys are using 'her' for her now. Certainly not one of ours, you ladies can have her to yourselves. She is doing the feminists proud. ![]() |
mofedamijo:It's crazy man. See them bickering over a phony sensational news. Nigerians are easy to fool walahi. |
