Good question;If you maintain good farm hygene,the likelihood of avian infuenza/bird flu infecting your farm is almost nil. However marketing of the farm produce might pose quite a challenge with the resultant fall in demand for your birds/eggs. A challenge like this is an opportunity for a dogged poultry farmer to explore ways of securing dependable demand/market,cheaper means of production & processing/storage of surplus produce.
