Lol, i should have been more specific with the kind of help I can give. Sadly, i can't help you with your search for a girlfriend, I can give career advice, but I would suggest you also utilize your schools resources for that, and there are many ads for studio apartments downtown on kijiji.ca. Hope that helps a little.
meekmk:

Splendid.. I need the following.

A girlfriend, preferably someone currently doing her masters/ to hopefully lead to marriage.

A career advisor

A good studio apartment close to the city centre!

Hello house, I was delayed for the ffg reasons, please I need opinions as to how to deal with them for re-application.
Hi, you'll have to find a way to get a substantial amount of money in your account. Preferably in instalments for about 6 months. Then get a bank statement. Also show relevant ties to Nigeria. (A job offer waiting, any dependants you have). There's not much you can do for travel history at this point, but if you fix the other two they might over look that).

No offence meant sir.

If you've been called for medicals at this point, and you're still here complaining about the price... E get as e be ooo(unless you're just cracking jokes and relieving the tension in the house)... Some people dream to be in this your position day and night.

Start preparing you mind for the expenses in Canada (esp the monthly rent) cos by the time you do the conversion in naira, your body go tell...

Congrats on your medicals though... And to answer your question, that's the cheapest price you can get wink...

See you in Maple land...

Your comment I quoted.... You can be in Canada legitimately without a valid Visa... Visa is only needed to enter Canada
I didnt know this, how is that even possible?

i dont mean for the trv. i mean when you are alrerady schooling, is it paid per semester or you have to pay full before resuming.
This probably depends on the school. For most schools I know of, you are only required to pay a tuition deposit. Then fees are due a couple of days to beginning of classes.

what if your program is for one year, will you be allowed to pay for one semester and pay for the second semester when you get there at a later date. Applying to Conestoga college.
yeah, that's fine too smiley

good day for those already in Canada, for two years master is the tuition fee paid per semester or you pay at once. Thanks
it is good to pay for at least one year, just to emphasize that you are financially capable, but so many people did not pay a dime to the schools and still got TRV.

Hello guys, it's been a while. Hope everyone is doing ok. Just wanted to share some good news with you guys to serve as an encouragement for all TRV hopefuls. My mum applied last week of september for a visitors visa to come and visit me this christmas. She went to collect her visa on Monday and they gave her 3+ years (my program is 4 years). We were expecting 3 months or at the most 6, but God is too kind. Keep calm, yours is on the way wink

warrikid: "Dem no dey carry Electronics go China o". (Read inbetween the lines).
most of the stuff I'm taking are of sentimental value and cannot be replaced. so this quote/saying does not apply to me.

Amefrica:

Hi,
Aside from the 2 main luggages, you're entitled to 2 carry on (a backpack and a hand luggage). You might wanna split the stuffs in the excess one, and put in the hand luggages.

I've done this - it worked! Safe trip in adv. to you.. My luggages are balanced now.
haha, I know this. It's different this time cos i'm going to live there, not just visit. so my baggage is not normal

If Lufthansa, u can go to their website, enter ur surname and booking code. Den u can choose an available seat 4 free from ur displayed flight itenerary.. I wz only able to choose 4 d flight to Frankfurt though..
Thanks, I will

You can always check in online from like 30hrs to your flight time on your airline website and choose your preferred seat (most airlines actually do permit that).
Thanks, I'm not very tech/net savvy but I'll try that.

Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by ValerieXO: 10:47am On Aug 18, 2014
DFodio: it depends on where you bought your ticket. Bought mine from flight hub. A link was attached to my electronic ticket. From the link I was able to view the type of plane I will be travelling with. The different seating arrangement and the available seats that have not been allocated. From there you can pick the one you want
oh ok, I guess I'll just have to research a little.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by ValerieXO: 9:20am On Aug 18, 2014
DFodio: Experience was pretty smooth. The plane was big. I actually picked my seat online before moving. I like the window seat. Served us dinner and breakfast. For dinner. I chose Sphagetti with chicken. Took coffee with it and desertt. It was okay.

A woman actually collapsed on the flight just about 2 hours before getting to Frankfurt. People were scared. Thought it was Ebola but later got to know she was on medication.
hi, how did you pick your seat online? I really want to do that.

DFodio: i understand you. I had to drop a lot of things so as to ensure I don't leave out the essentials. It brings prioritising to a whole new level. Currently at Frankfurt airport. Got here via Lufthansa. Still have about 6 hours wait before heading to Saskatoon via Toronto. Journey was smooth.
hi, I'll be using lufthansa too. yeah, now I'm learning to prioritize. it's still so hard to part with my stuff but I'm not going to let sentiments get the better part of me.
