Yes there is something wrong with it. It is called inferiority complex.
You can't use another person as reference when describing yourself except you lack originality.
And please tell that young man to remove that okpu agu he is wearing, it's not a Bini attire. It's like going on a homage to Eze Nri as an Igbo clan while wearing turban.

This should be in the culture section.

Please be careful not to mention “Igbo” in your write up next time. It’s annoying.
There was no part that attacked Igbos, only said there is similarity between Igbos and Ikweres due to trade and marriages over the years, is there anything wrong in that?

Great Benin Empire!!!

Ikwerre (Iwhuruohna) people of Rivers State migrated from the Great Benin Kingdom even though we share some similarities with the igbos due to inter trade relationship and marriage over the years.

It was a great and historical meeting with his Royal Majesty the Oba of Benin. As the supreme leader of IFM proudly presented our Iwhuruohna (Ikwerre) flag to the OBA OF BENIN.

God bless our ancestral home.

Iwhuruohna (Ikwerre) anu meka oh!

God bless Ikwerre!
God bless Rivers state.
God bless Nigeria.
God bless Benin Kingdom

When I had no job, I mean when I was very jobless for some years, my mom stood by me, supported me, encouraged me, trusted me, prayed for me, fed me, and never gave up on me, no other woman was there to support me or give me hope except her. Despite my wrong deeds & mistakes in life, my mom never neglected me, neither did lose hope on me. So tell me why I will be so foolish to compare my mom's undying love to another, never. I can never ever love any other woman more than my own precious mother, never. I'm yet to see such woman, such woman don't even exist in my own world, not even my wife, you know why? Because a wife can be replaced, but mom can never ever ever, I mean never ever be replaced. If you like your life, abeg comot body where my mama dey.
No one else can ever replace our moms, as for me whenever I start dating any girl I make it clear to her my mom is everything to me and if she's not ok with it she can leave.

The earlier men understand that their WIVES need more attention and caring than their moms the better for them. Something like 60:40.
If you want to experience hell in your marriage, buy something for your mom first before buying for your wife or give your mom a quality item than your wife.

.

I am not saying you should not take care of your mom. I am not saying you should wait for your mom to beg you for things before you give her.
I am saying you should take care of your mom and wife but never give your mom more than you give your wife if you want peace in your home.
When you have your son's and they treat their wives better than you, you will be okay with it?

Politics › An Independent Bonny Kingdom Can Become Africa's Singapore by valirex(op): 7:57am On Dec 01, 2020
Bonny Island is situated at the southern edge of Rivers State in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. It is near Port Harcourt. Ferries are the main form of transport to and from the island. The local language spoken on Bonny Island is Ibani. Many natives also speak the Igbo language.

Bonny Island has five Duawaris (lit. ancestral royal houses). All represent the founding generation of its kingdom. These are:

(i) The Bristol-Alagbariye House,

(ii) The Halliday-Awusa House,

(iii) The Dublin Green House (Lala, Ebie, Asimini-Oruakpa lineages),

(iv) The Oruasawo Tolofari House (Kumaluya-Ndende, Omuigbem lineages), and

(v) The Buoye-Omuso Brown House

With a parliamentary monarchical system resembling the UK type of government the people of Bonny Island can forge ahead with better development and not democracy which has done Africa no good.

Economy:
In the early 1990s the Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with 3 international partners, Shell Gas BV., CLEAG Limited [ELF] and AGIP International BV. started the multibillion-dollar project Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (Nigeria LNG). Due to its strategic position, Bonny Island, particularly the Finima community area along Bonny Island, is hosting various multinational oil companies including Royal Dutch Shell, Mobil, Chevron, Agip, and Elf.

Land size of Bonny Island is 645.6 km² and Singapore land size is 725.7 km².

Following the Singaporean way of development Bonny Island can be the next big thing in Africa.

Well, I totally believe my last submission about you is totally correct. I hardly make mistakes when submitting on persons I have critically watched how their arguments goes...

And as for the Igbos and sane way I told etinosa, there is actually Nothing on ground Binis have to argue with Igbos.

It is more easier for binis and Yorubas to have historical frictions due to the fact that they are one and same people but difficult to bring that argument over here.

You people have already agreed to that.
Benins, Ibos, Yorubas have nothing in common.

That statement alone is a real embarrassment to your brothers arguing the rightful ownership of obaship.

We that I can authoritatively conclude that you are just an undergraduate maybe year 1or year 2 and probably schooling in SW maybe lag or UI or .....not even Uniben.

Your pattern of reasoning and actions really defines your projectory.

+ The present Benin palace was built much recently — hence it used to be a ragtag shrine. grin

Should one really expect much from a heartbroken Bini bald head ?? grin

Nope! Peddling lies is what Binis do best, and that is apparent from all of their posts — which unfortunately have all been debunked on this thread.

I’m super glad that everyone can now see through their falsehood and desperation.

In summary: The word “Oba” has its root in the Yoruba language as has been demonstrated from a Bini dictionary.

[s]No other Edoid people use the term for their monarchs, [b]despite the Binis expedition in their territory. [/s]

The reason is simple: Of all Edoid groups, only the Binis have dynastic succession from the Yorubas.

QED!
With all your pointless talks only shows you're without reasoning otherwise you will know so many Ẹdoid tribes have Ọba attached to some names

eg Esans bear the name Obaze, obano

The reigning king Oba Chukumela Nnam Obi II of Ogbaland has Oba attached to his name/title so what trash are you spilling undecided
