let me gist a little bit. My uncle in the year 2006-9 my uncle was a commander of a platoon in lake Chad region. Attacking those region without proper map and surveillance we be very destructive and. That was what some general did left alot of solider dead during 2017-18. Lake Chad region a very dangerous to attack if do not have info about those location . Brono is not small it is large . You cannot cover every location is brono Nigeria is not up to that. My uncle was a member of 3 armour division before retirement. He told me that Nigeria army cannot win lake Chad easy .he told me it will take year of creating operational base all over lake Chad before wining the war. Please do not be angry about my spelling and word composition

Now the question is if the Nigeria army cannot defend Lake Chad region and by extension borno state then we are doom in this country....how the Bleep can they defend Nigeria against external threat by a well packed soldiers using the iswap tactics? I think we need to look inward and begin to make adjustment....!! You would never hear or read army attacked iswap base only the opposite....!!! If borno is too large for the Nigerian army...any not to the Algerian way and get villagers around that region armed with less control but supervised...!! Volunteers make better soldiers...not the paid ones that would always look at his life first and what they are paying him to put his life on the line while some people are busy looting money on an industrial scale elsewhere....!!!

Remember the egypt/Israel war...when the Egyptian army all ran away and Israel entered the seuz canal...? its was the local militia armed with just AK 47 rifles and rpgs who are citizens of the town that drove the almighty Israeli army away....!! They know their town well and all its geography...they where just taking out the Israeli tanks like child war game...!!!

There is a reason no army can easily invade the continental USA and even Switzerland as small as it is....!! The army would end up fighting the whole damn country and fighters and not even fighting for any payment but just glory and defending their home tuff...!!

My question has always been why allowing them to attack and still withdraw to same location with the country? Why is the army not taking the fight to them and wipe the idiots out once and for all? All these mediocrity would never help us until we start asking critical questions, look at the situation differently and do things differently....!! Only a mad or foolish man would continue to do something same way and expect a different outcome....!!!

Your PMB was busy since the return to civilian rule campaigning for president and saying he had the cure for all that ails us. And now, instead of the cure he has given us a sickness that might not be curable and the country is more divided than it has ever been since perhaps the civil war.

I still remember the wild fever in the air when he won in 2015. Everyone was expecting Nigeria to turn to Dubai and we all believed he would be very much better than Jonathan. After all, he had been saying so since 1999 and must have all the answers and solutions we need.

And now he has led us into unmitigated disaster and seems totally unconcerned. Yeah, he met a sick country in 2015, but what did he do? He made the sickness so much worse. The cancer in the country has metastasized and now everywhere is in turmoil, no where is safe, people cannot afford to eat, everyone is angry and tribalism is the order of the day.

Nigerians have an extraordinary ability to bear anything. But I fear they could be at the breaking point. And the military overstretched as it is will not contain them.

Some of us knew that Nigeria is going down the drain after that election of 2015 we tried telling people but non would listen, some even said our mind is already made up, today those same people mind is not only made up but completely destroyed....!!

Person that have never won any election in his life even at primary level...!! Maybe he thought they would help him write result as they always do for him to enable him become president...!! Nonsense ambition...!!!

We always know that there would be no entity called Nigeria as time goes on...!!

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Ekiti State, Sunday Abutu, confirmed the development adding that manhunt for the fleeing members of the gang is in progress. One Ak-47 rifle with 25 live rounds ammunition, one cutlass, two small phones belonging to victims and a cash sum of N210,000 were recovered from the kidnapper”.

“The corpse of the kidnapper, as well as the exhibits recovered, was handed over to the nearby military checkpoint for onward transmission to the Ekiti State Police Command, while security operatives continued with their operation”
