So what do we say of the Talibans and the Houti rebels ...all this you can't fight or defeat the government is just fallacy...it was done in the central african republic...just street men decided to fight for themselves and the government capitulate....!! In Nigeria the militancy was never defeated but appeased...boko is there doing their thing and if they had agree to appeasement we would have ad quietness today but no they want a different thing and it's over ten years now and that same war draw us all here to give views and analysis and progress made....!! So anybody telling you that government cant be defeated is simply just lying to you and that just the psyche the govt planted into the mind of the people so they don't pick up arms against them...!!

These i-dumbs are posting pictures of their victory over the Nigerian soldiers claiming to have killed 6 soldiers all over the internet.

Now, there would be reprisals, sure we know that.. Will your glorified boy scouts be able to handle the wave of attacks from the Nigerian army without calling to the United Nations but forgetting that they already have posted pictures online with dead soldiers on them...?

I may not make sense to you now but I sincerely pray that you do not witness what may be coming...

I get your point and on same page but the issue is who would they be fighting or killing in the reprisal..? Is it the ESN people in the bush or the peaceful people in town?

Like I wrote earlier..who pulled the trigger first? The answer would go along way to solving issues...

After the craziness of yesterday things have settled into somewhat of an uneasy calm in Orlu, though major streets are still deserted and markets, shops, beer parlors, business centers etc all closing early to meet the curfew time. The soldiers seem still around enforcing the curfew seem to be scared from what I've observed, I get the feeling they hate it here and just want to get the hell of out Orlu back to the barracks... and can one blame them for feeling apprehensive? facts already have emerged that they lost 6 of their men officially as of today to the ESN clash.... so they have doubled their security with more men and combat gears in various strategic areas. But the soldiers have so far surprisingly displayed professionalism and have been immensely respectful to motorists and pedestrians alike so far... I even chatted with a soldier today and he was very friendly so I offered him a beer and cigarettes from my shop for free... and he was very grateful. Hopefully peace will be restored for good in Orlu cause we've been a very serene, friendly and hospitable community until the recent crisis snowballed into something else.

And ESN still have a very strong base here in Orlu and I don't see them getting dislodged from here, so it will be wiser for the army to just leave them alone to do their jobs of protecting the rural areas from criminals and Fulani wahala, ESN from what I know enjoy the absolute trust, goodwill and confidence of the people cause they have been proven capable of providing fantastic security to the communities they operate with... as long as they don't interfere with the Nigerian army/police , then it's all good... make all man dey him lane. May we never experience bloodshed again!

Exactly what I've been telling some mofo on this platform..as long as they are not attacking the army the army should mind their business and follow their own lane...its the citizen that suffers in the hand of the marauders and ESN provide some form of security for them..so what's the problem..?

My question is did the ESN attacked the nigerian army first or it was the army that attacked them first..? We must answer this question before doing any analysis...as far as I know as per the last news before this..its was some band of policeman that attacked the ESN first and they return fire and they ran away and left their vehicle...!!

This same issue now from the scanty details put on social media..the army attacked and ESN and they return fire and they ran back only to go and reinforce and start burning people shop and shooting women...!!

If the ESN didn't enter town and disturb the people or attack any military formation why not leave them alone in their bush, why attacking them?
