GIS is a 12 calendar months program unless there is miss up some where,i doubt the possibility,is there any public update from policy makers of GIS giving credence to this information?

please house, how much does the GIS normally pay to interns for December time sheet. I want to know of the public holidays will affect the payment amount.

December stipend still remains the same as other months ,more so public holidays does not in any way affect your stipend as you are not duty bound to work on public holidays unless you choose to.

December 2015 timesheet came out on 1st January,2016,politely inform your employer to mark it for you before 7th of January,2016.

For those outstanding, GIS posted on their facebook to drop ur details of non payment on their facebook post and many have been doing that since 2days now. You can be lucky. You can also DM on message direct facebook. Thank God for the October stipend as we look forward to November, December and training alawi. The scheme continues.....I am moving from Intern to employer soon to complement the scheme by employing more Interns in my new firm #winks

I was matched October 6,2015,my status was pending hired till November 4,then my status changed to hired same November 4,2015,My November time sheet was marked as my first timesheet,pls i wish to ask if my employer would have signed October timesheet ?or i am not supposed to have October timesheet,pls senior interns and learned colleagues should put me through.

@meetmonde,Double application might be used against you,what they are in need is your CV which i believe you attached and stated the place you want to serve on the subject of the mail,so in my own thinking dont send another application.

I dont really know if you have decided,i will advise you to choose the A'level Cambridge teaching job,my reasons are as follows (1) Proximity:the office is close to your residence,(2)Time:You will have more time for yourself compared to the intern secretary job,(3)Job Hunting:There is enough space for you to jobhunt and go for interviews(4)Great opportunity to meet people: You will meet various calibre of people when teaching that can link you to 6 digits job so you ought to be professional,humble and smart in this area.(5) Professional programs:It will give you ample opportunity to run for professional programs to upgrade and enhance your CV in order to give you an edge during interviews. Most times Firms use these words "intern and clerk" to bargain for cheap labor without giving you assurance for salary increment while piling work and pressure on you.I wish you greater placements than these two because as you said it's a stepping stone.

If you graduated with HND or BSc,you are in for the competition cos you are competing with other graduates within your state,applications to northern states has the highest chances due to low interested participants

You can use any of these:"The Hiring Manager,The Human Resource Manager or The Recruiting Manager",its more appealing than "to whom it may concern"

vfcds i just visited there fbk pages i couldnt see any recent post from them. Those dat luv fbking should bombard them there on the whereabout of our stipends. On both pages d last post was on 24th , i just sent them a post now. Please dont be demoralized

Pls recheck on there GIS Facebook page ,there is an update on our stipends entering as from tomorrow,although you won't see it as a heading but as a reply to an update on 7th December.But lets double our tweets from henceforth and not relax.

It has to do do with the Timesheet and status of payments.
On the employer's timesheet page, GIS is supposed to be doing prompt, accurate and monthly updates on the employer's timesheet page when they pay us, but that is not the case.

So in conclusion, do not mind whatever you see written their, because they no longer update payment status their, unlike those day
