How To Apply For N-power (STEPS)
The N-Power Volunteer Corps is part of the Federal government’s Social Investment Programmes, under which it plans to hire 350,000 unemployed graduates.​The programme application is open toall eligible Nigerians​ and that the process is completely free‎.​It also urged ​applicants to read and understand all relevant information ​before applying.

Follow the ​steps to apply​…

1. Visit www.npower.gov.ng. Read up about the different N-Power categories so that you understand the category that suits you best​;​

2. Before you go on to apply, ensure you have a printout or accurate details of your Bank Verification Number or BVN and a recent passport photographs;​

3. Then click on “Apply for N-Power Volunteer Corps”​;

4. Once you get on the application portal, you will be required to read the terms and conditions of the N-Power Programme and accept that all the information you will provide must be truthful and accurate​ ​

5. Fill in your 11-digit BVN; then fill in your surname, first name, and middle name in identical terms to your BVN information; followed by details of your active bank account​;

6. If your BVN details are inaccurate, you will not be permitted to go past this interface. If the BVN details are accurate, you will be allowed to proceed to the application portal to fill in all the personal information required and your academic qualification. You will receive a unique N-Power identification number;

7. Ensure to provide your own telephone number and email so that you can be reached directly;

8. You will also need to upload your passport photograph in either JPEG or PNG files in no more than 25 kilo bytes​;

​9. Before you complete your application, you will be assessed on your knowledge of grammar, general knowledge, and for N-Power VAIDS, basic numerical concepts.

Registration has commenced for Next batch of Npower. Inform your colleagues.

The challenge is that the state teachers feels that Npower corps are competing with them and feels that we came to their job for them.They now feel reluctant to teach the students but that does not deter us.We handle the situation diplomatically.

I would like to add that this opening is strictly for those who studied education. I am interested in those who want to pursue a career in Education, not just those who are merely looking for a job or a stepping stone for something else. I have worked as a teacher right from my school cert days, and I have committed my entire life building educational and learning structures, and creating opportunities of learning for people, with plans for more in the future.

So I will not just take on board any one who doesn't share the same vision with me; who doesn't have the same passion as me; and who cannot work towards the same goal with me.

It is not my intention to make this sound or look REALLY BIG. Like I said in my original post, I am not looking for flashy qualification, neither am I looking for donkey years of experience. My main interest is that you are REALLY passionate and interested in imparting knowledge, and that you have the basic cognitive skills (IQ) that will help you scale through. I would be happy to work with an NCE holder, who knows his/her stuff.

....2014 i registered for naval recruitment....i paid 1k plus cafe fee.....i travelled to NNS warri ,i spent more than 14k,each local govt were to produce 5persons and a state to produce 39 peoole..my local govt alone were up to fifteen thousand applicant, we paid 1k each....now multiply fifteen times 18 local govt.........i guess this should be the highest scam.....but nobody protested.....compare this to ghwx then hide ur face.

don't mind them,do you know that they defrauded about 600000 Nigerian youths and scammed them their 1000 naira in the Nigeria Immigration Service scam,imagine 600000 Nigerians applied for that job multiply 600000 by 1000 naira,you will get a whooping amount of 600,000,000 naira and uptill now no one has accounted for the money and this is almost four years after the event.Who is scamming who?
