Ultimatum or no ultimatum, our stance remains thesame!

Let the country divide peacefully after which everyone can relocate!

You can't ask anyone to relocate when the division process has not been concluded, conclude it and see if any Igbo remains anywhere outside igboland!

If the north wants a breakup, they have their members in the HOR through which to channel their idealogies!

1)Why is the SW so scared of condemning the approach of the north towards secession as it did to NK led agitation, under the guise of "following due peaceful process",what are they scared of?

2)why can't the SW tell the north to represent their case through their members in the house of reps like they always tell igbos?

3)why haven't they threatened the north with war like they did to Igbos?

What are they scared of?
because we are not the one agitating for secession, we dont feel we need to separate from Nigeria to make it, we don't have any case to represent at the Senate that has to do with secession, You are the one feeling victimized and marginalised and you can't make us fight your battles for you, we don't have to be your voice to prove to you we are not scared, we are too secured in ourselves and God to think we need to separate in order To advance. an average Yoruba man believe strongly that his religion and hand work will prosper him either traditionalist, Christian or Muslim. so it's better everyone focus on their beliefs, stop trying to drag us along on your own journey, who knows you might achieve your aim one day which is good and OK with us Yoruba's, we will still remain secured in our own beliefs in being blessed no matter where we are because the spiritual controls the physical.

[quote author=goaldynboy post=57360824]Leave how they will govern themselves to the Biafrans! It does not lie in your mouth to say what is good for them! Why do you take panadol for another man's headache? Must you people talk in what does not concern you?

And what do you mean by chewing more than you can bite? All Nigerians should work towards peaceful disintegration; because if this country is plunged into war, everyone in the nooks and cranny of this zoo will definitely feel it! This is 2017 and not 1967! At this age, even a teen can log into the internet and fabricate bombs, chemical weapons, etc! See what is happening in Syria today, no side of the war is enjoying it!

One Yoruba guy was boasting that Nigeria Military has acquired a number jet fighters and can mercilessly deal with Igbos as they did in 1967! My answer to that is that it will only take a backing and/or agreement of a super power (America or Russia) to subjugate Nigeria Army in a minute! Nigeria does not have half of the military might of Ukraine, but when Russia made up their mind, they took cremea effortlessly!

Some stupid people here have been harping that Igbos should pack their loads from north to east in support of the recent ultimatum given by some northern youth miscreants! You don't put the cart before the horse! The Federal Govt should first grant Biafra Independence; stop taxing Biafrans; Cease further exploitation and pillaging of Biafran resources; define the boundary of the two countries, withdraw their military and Police from Biafraland , etc! It's after these are done, that asking Igbos to leave the north will make sense!

I have also read a lot of lazy oafs prodding Igbos to leave their properties (without compensation) and return to east! They are like vultures waiting to pounce on hard earned properties of the Igbos with their lazy asses! They are quite ignorant to know that (except countries under military regime), a foreigner has the right to his property in another country! They ignorantly don't know that there are international laws governing secession and fragmentation of countries! Take for instance there are over four million Yoruba's living in UK alone, most of them owning multi-billion dollars properties! So because I'm a Biafrans (and there is actualization of Republic of Biafra), you feel you can seize my property in Lagos while you freely acquire properties in UK, USA, Europe, Ghana, SA, etc! It doesn't work that way! It won't work! We will table the matter with United Nations and persuade other countries to likewise confiscate the properties of 'remnant Nigerians' all over the world, if they dare go that direction!

This reaction is for all those ignoramus in nairaland stoking the ember of conflict! Since the so called northern miscreant released their ultimatum, they have been senselessly exciting and masturbating all the places!!

have you ever seen a married couple that Divorced without one of them moving out first, your agitation for secession cannot be taken seriously until you guys make a concrete move, you claim you want to divorce that marriage is not by force but you are still sleeping with the man, collecting his money and cooking for him, as for the various igbo investments you don't necessarily have to lose them, you can sell them or determine what you will do with them later after you have achieved Your Biafra, although many properties have been lost due to unrest in the north, my aunty lost a house in the north when she had to pass through forest to escape killings in the north and I have Ibo friends that experience same, but that will only happen in a war situation.
you cannot demand or expect the Federal government to do all those things you said because you are the one agitating for secession. it does not make sense, you must necessarily pay a price for every prize, you are asking for divorce but you don't want to pack out because you are enjoying the benefits of the marriage and you expect to be taken seriously, it doesn't work that way, your agitation so far has been a noise pollution, just causing unrest and sensationalism. when you are really ready to leave we will know and the whole world will know.

when a girl you are not familiar with snatch ordinary boyfriend from you, you feel like committing suicide not to talk of a husband and a lady who is suppose to have your back, I have experienced this and I don't wish it on an enemy, I think every husband or boyfriend snatcher should be jailed. when Angelina Jolie snatched Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston she nearly died, I hated Angelina for a long time and when I learnt of their separation and divorce recently I was dancing up and down at home sharing the good news, though Jennifer Aniston is not single but I feel it serves the thieving Angelina right, she lost him because he didn't belong to her. it was fight to finish as if she has been bewitched, she filed for divorce and wouldn't listen to any plea from Brad, then I realized that ko si eni ti Olorun ko le mu, nobody is outside the reach of God for discipline.

sircrabo:
Some people feel very happy reading anything Anti Igbo. Someone said The Yorubas knows her real enemies and Odumakin shld speak for himself. Its ok. The Ibos arent soliciting for support from any tribe in Nigeria, what they want is a referendum.
With all due rspect, Whoever orchestrated the meeting helo in Arewa house is a dunce. Ibos are one of the most peaceful people to live with in Nigeria. The Ibo man comes to your town to do business, he makes money and expands his business, buys properties and helps develop their adopted region. In most cases they raise their kids there and their kids even speak the language of the host region more than theirs. True of false ? How many Yorubas have properties in the north ? but the ibos have business that provide goods or services to people in the north. What have they done wrong ? How many times have you seen or heard that the Ibos went on rampage killing innocent people ? Who are the ones who live their region and begin to kill people in their farms ? Instead of them to be discussing how to ammend the broken relationship their elders orchestrated, they are there threatening as usual. Thats the only region in Nigeria that uses violence to prove a point.

I am from Delta state, i believe in One Nigeria but will be proud to be called Biafran if ever theres a Biafra. Biafra is a bight, its not a native word like afenifere and arewa as people think. If they wanted it to be for ibos only, it would have been Ohaneze republic or Republic of Ndigbo but they choose to make it open.

The northern youth shld use same opportunity to write their elders who own oil wells in south south to forefeit them. You want them and their businesses out of your region, you shld also leave the entire south east and south south and forefeit the stolen oil wells. By the way, how many Ibos own oil wells in Nigeria ? how have they been surviving ? nonsense.

The Biafrans only organised a peaceful exercise and the northerners are panicking. They didnt destroy properties belonging to strangers, they didnt behead innocent people, they didnt invade peoples farm, they only want to be heard.

The northern youths shld use their Arewa house to discuss peaceful coexistence and not how to evict her peaceful tenants. By the way, arent there Northereners in the south east and south south ? Ibos have lived in Yoruba land for years and have helped developed it. How many times have Ibos gone out to fight. Will chinedu leave his chemist to go and fight ? if he does who will stay in the shop ? Will Emeka leave his supermarket to fight ? if he does what will happen to his sales for the day ?

Ibos are religious and educated, they dont kill to make a point like our brothers in the north. Whos knows what else they use their Arewa house to discuss ? Tomorrow the elders of the north will deny involvement with Boko Haram. Go back to the round table and discuss how to ammend
let me point this out to you, Yoruba s say let's call a mad family member the groom so he can allow us to progress with wedding preparations, also if you want to catch a monkey you behave like one, Yoruba also say anyone that will not allow you to eat to satisfaction you prepare their food along with your own, Ibo's fail to realise that successful interpersonal skill is key in moving ahead, I mean diplomacy, tactfulness, empathy and acceptance of others differences shown true your speech and conduct. you can't demand a referendum, it may be your right and all that but since you have managed to ostracize those people you need their cooperation to get it, they may likely frustrate your effort, making derogatory comments about peoples way of life and hurling insult everyday will not make them to fall in love with you. when you make enemies everyday by your attitude, you better start watching your back because those enemies are coming for you one day.

when you sow wind, you reap whirlwind, Ibo's had it coming, your level of hatred for everyone is appalling, you hate, hate, hate oh how you hate, and you expect love from your object of hatred, it's not possible. your attitude is part of the reasons the north is taking this stand, Yoruba s are more tolerant though but we are not fools

don't mind him, in the business of raising children it is well known that mothers are more committed and sacrificial whereas when the going get tough, fathers get going, it's only when they are super rich that it may appear they are caring, only a mother will prefer to go hungry for her children to eat, my own father was a nag, he would shout and complain all day because of trivialities, he didn't believe in education past secondary school, my mother shoulder that for all 6 of us, he ripped my mother off of huge savings several times with promises of I will pay you back only to spend it on trivialities and never pay back, I still marvel at how he got my mother to part with huge amounts each time he asked despite not having paid the previous loan, he stole our future, he was a terror and a tyrant, imagine my mother just moved into her own house 2 years ago ,she was only able to build after we all graduated. he favoured my step mother and her children over us, he didn't take care of us despite he was hard working and died a pensioner, he mostly spent his money on himself and he was the first to demand money when I started working, he apologized to me before he died though for not taking care of us. I actually married someone like him and I was surprised how I ended up that way, but my first husband died after 4 years of marriage, now I'm married to this wonderful man who is everything I want in a man, he is loving, kind generous and considerate and he loves me so much, I was a very unhappy child, my present husband is Allah's way of wiping away my tears and taking away the pain of my childhood.
