Igbos have a saying,'When a man puts his cooking pot outside, then its left for the children to use it and gather sand’..

NnamdiKanu did not teach me that, my dad did!

Buhari with his awful leadership and your foolish followership affirms that saying and I'm glad to apply it today..Kachifo! (Good morning)
Yoruba's have a saying that the wicked is to be begged and cajoled so we can live in peace, good to know your dad taught you to insult elders and people that can help you advance, I always knew the habit of igbo insulting and hating is due to the training they are getting behind closed doors at home. you will soon find out those you are insulting have the power to keep you down and frustrate all your efforts at political success and your Biafra actualisation. you just need to apply your brain a little to know you guys are just shooting yourself in the leg by all this hating and e-confrontations. keep on making enemies. igbeyin lo ma ye oloku ada, the man with d dull cutlass will only wise up or understand at the end, (when everyone must have left him at the farm after they finish cutting their own portion of the grass)

God bless you for this madam.
At least not everyone is quick to judge.

I'll consider your advice and seek for a Gynecologist.
God bless you once again.
I am a silent observer of this thread because I just took in but you are forcing me out because I feel I need to advise you concerning this, please don't do it, let your girlfriend understand that it's not the best, my advice is not religion based but based on life experiences, many people that found themselves in your situation and kept the baby none of them has ever regretted the decision, even if you don't end up marrying your girlfriend the baby still has a right to life, a child basically needs love and not necessarily 2parents living under the same roof, my younger sister was in this same situation years ago and we all were shattered that one of us is pregnant outside wedlock, she wanted to abort but my mum refused because of the risk involved, do you know that baby just gained admission to university of Ibadan, a very intelligent tall beautiful girl that we are all proud of, my sister didn't marry the dad, she further her education and she is now a graduate married to a loving husband and they are expecting their second child together, whereas me and all my smartness I've been ttc ing for 4 yrs, Ive been undergoing gynaecologist treatment, I spent all those years acquiring masters degree and building a career but at the end of the day I realised getting a child is more important than all those things, I'm not advocating giving birth outside marriage but once it has happened like this you can use it to leverage your future, I know many other people that went through same, though it may be hard in the beginning but they are always thankful that they didn't abort at the end, once you give birth to that child he or she will grow while you pursue your ambition, please don't deny yourself of this future joy, many people are begging God for it everyday, and like my mother always say that may be the most compassionate and loving child to you out of all the children you will have. salam

I would confess to being at times chauvinistic and old-fashioned but this is over-the-top.

If you know you can't say something kind, just keep mute. PLEASE.

I started and ended with PLEASE...no be fight!
they are just being insensitive and mean, imagine someone says that about you if you are in the same situation, pictures are overrated you cannot be absolutely sure of a person s physical attributes unless you see them physically, sometimes it's the way a lady talks or walks or the curves and many other things that endeared the man to her. I think this is super cool though and i wish them hml

Politics › Re: FCT Indigenes Protest Unclad In Abuja Over Marginalization (Photos) by vannessa7(f): 4:09pm On Jun 13, 2017
hmm marginalisation indeed, this people that occupy all the government parastatals and offices all over the fct, they discriminate against non indigene, this people that are so primitive and the relocation of the fct to Abuja for all these decades has not made much difference in their level of civilization they live in mud houses and their juju is epic, witchcraft is their tradition and many people have regretted moving to Abuja because the warfare they entered is even worse than the one they runfrom in the village, during rainy season they use themselves to plant yam as many mysterious death start taking place, their traditional cloth is black. the federal government have made them very rich through compensation for their land acquired yet they are shouting marginalisation, it is only those people affluent enough to live within fct centre that can escape their wahala but the rent inside town is worse than in Lagos island and only top government officials and some rich folks live there. but if you have to live among gbagyi people you are on your own, I relocated back to Lagos last year after my husband died mysteriously.

Politics › Re: Opadokun, Yoruba Leaders Collected Dollars From Abiola’s Killers – Al-mustapha by vannessa7(f): 1:14pm On Jun 13, 2017
BlakKluKluxKlan:
It's rather amusing to read the emotional and prejudiced trash most posters wrote on this issue without deep reflection.
Al--Mustapha chose the right forum to spill his trash - a gathering of dim-wits of his own ilk.

1. He alleged the yoruba elders collected money from MKO's killers. Who are those killers ? Since he mentioned the names of receipients, why not reveal the names of givers for equity ?
2. If he knew the killers and kept quiet until now, does that not make him an accessory after the fact by law ?
3. For his so-called video tape to make sense, then it must include conversations that took place prior to the exchange of money, otherwise, it is a charade set up for ulterior motives. I say this because it is a standard practice that non-official visitors to Aso Rock are usually given money to defray the cost of their trip.
4. Having said that, granted that they were given money to silence them, the question now is, were they silenced ? No. The struggle was carried on until they almost made Nigeria to collapse leading to Abacha's death. Eventually, they were pacified with the presidency. So if the money exchange was to silence them, apparently it failed to achieve its purpose meaning that the yoruba elders played them a dummy which means they were smarter for two reasons -
a) it would've been stupid of them to refuse the money offered because they didn't ask for it, it was part of the national cake which belonged to all and sundry, they needed money to prosecute the struggle to bring down the despotic government, plus, knowing the devilish gestapo mafia in uniform they were dealing with, common sense dictated that it was safer for them to accept the money to make believe they would play along rather than to refuse indicating their intention to carry on the struggle and falling prey to assassination or a mysterious death.

Having said that, it is pertinent to state that the yoruba did not fight for the actualisation of June 12 only because MKO was yoruba. Not at all. If it had happened to any other tribe, they would have fought for it. It is in their gene to fight injustice regardless of who is involved.
Recall that Awolowo went out of his way to fight on behalf of Abduraman Shugaba who was deported by Shagari's NPN. He did it free on rail yet the man was neither of his tribe nor belonged to his party.
Ofcourse it can be argued that the yoruba pursued the struggle to fruition even after all non-yoruba members had abandoned NADECO because they considered it a slight on the tribe if the injustice stood.
One angle non-yorubas may not know about the entire episode is that MKO was not in the good books of the yoruba because he utilised his resources and Concord newsgroup to frontally fight Awolowo and the UPN, hence the entire yoruba. MKO was severally warned to play politics with sense and civility because
the people whose trust he was courting by so doing would never allow him taste the presidency but all fell on deaf ears.
Shagari was a globe-trotter yet not once did he officially transfer power to his vice, Ekwueme throughout their tenure to demonstrate their distrust of a southerner with power.
It was a marvel that the yoruba voted for MKO in the first place. This was generally because the system allowed only two choices but particularlly because information had gone round that MKO had gone to Awolowo to prostrate, beg and reconcile for his misdemeanour before the latter died.
Even then, Awo's curse, which was apparently not retracted, came to pass - that MKO may get to the presidency but will never taste it.
Therefore, it may not be out of place to say that yoruba's struggle for June 12 was a mixture of reluctance and the innate will to fight for justice.
what insight, how true, thanks for reminding us

tribal hate fuelled by the ipob who feel everyone should be full of hatred and bitterness like them, they don't know if you have gone for youth service before, seeing a youth corper doesn't move you because you have been there, done that, Yoruba have too many achievements to lose sleep over this, rather we are happy for ipob, though they need to do more to catch up with us. big congratulations to a worthy Nigerian son, the sky is you limit.

There are some development towards that . The Singaporeans didn't even need to push for referendum, Malaysians voted them out when they had enough. You people ought to do the same or are you masochists. Kick out troublesome, stubborn Igbos with a referendum.
The last time Igbo packed to their homelands and declared Biafra a sovereign nation, you brought war to our doorsteps. Yet you want Igbo to go the East that is currently being occupied by the Nigerian army so war can be brought to our land when we declared ourselves an independent nation from the zoological rep. Of Nigeria, again?
this is a different climes, we are in democracy, social media is there and the whole world is watching, the people you fear most has given you the go ahead, the ball is now in your court, let all igbos move back to the East and see if they will not actualize Biafra, the international body will take you serious then and even Nigerian government will have no choice but to do a referendum. it's just that you people are not ready to take risk or sacrifice anything for the actualisation of your dear be Biafra and not risk nothing gain, nobody will give it to you on a platter, forget that

IamaNigerianGuy:
In a division of Nigeria the North will be the greatest loser. Its economic development already delayed, will be set back 50 to 70 years.
The North is the underdog here ; nobody is fooled by their rhetoric and political posturing.
I commend the Igbos for doing what no other group has successfully done. We must support them
This country is built upon a faulty foundation and run by oligarchs. It cannot stand. The matter has rested for 113 years and is waking up now.
Nigeria will restructure or divide. That is the political challenge this generation must face and decide.
I have no choice but to respond to this your write-up, to say the north will lose if Nigeria divide is a fallacy, have you ever been to the North? you will shout praise the Lord , Aleiluyah when you see the agricultural wealth God has endowed them with, you will see rice growing by the road side in Yola like grass, giant watermelon, yam, the best pepper and tomatoes, beans, sorghum, wheat, garden eggs, chicken everywhere like dirt, groundnut nko, potatoes, cabbage, lettuce to mention a few, I think the scenario will be that with their low education you will have to import food from them with your hard earned money and they will get richer and developed, and as per development you need to visit Kano, Kaduna, Jos and all their major cities to realise that not being developed doesn't apply to them. actually I like their ways in the sense that an average Hausa man think speaking Hausa is better than speaking English, they are so confident and proud of their language and that is part of the reason they are bluffing western education. but if this attitude can be applied to education by teaching students in Hausa a lot can be accomplished, like China, Korea, and India, they are able to progress quickly by using their mother tongue to teach sciences and other disciplines and you can imagine the understanding, the developed world had to pay attention to them when they see the level of their achievement.

it is shocking and disturbing to see a generation of people who defend and take pride in crime for the sake of money, these people have no God consciousness nor any thoughts for eternity, I don't think there is another group of people anywhere else in the world who celebrate criminals. if these people are not given their Biafra Nigeria may never develop as they keep breeding new generation of criminals and proximity to them keep robbing our youth of their conscience, show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. it's only when a sick person realises and acknowledge he is sick that he can seek healing, God will not admit mammon worshipper in His presence no matter how they throng Catholic Church every Sunday.
