I once had a friend who was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I'm proud to tell you he's better now. Listen carefully, Op. I know the idea of being paranoid and all throws you off but please do not give up on him. They usually have all these hallucinations and images of things that are really not real. He needs to be placed under close watch and heavy meds. Endeavour to Get him to a home. When talking to him, don't act like something is wrong, make the conversation like normal people. If he expresses any sort of imagination, just try and calm him down. Get him busy, don't let his mind wander, I trust you know some of his hobbies. Visit him as much you can and keep reminding him of how much you miss him. Just do all these, hope, and pray. He'll surely get better. And while doing all that, do not beat yourself up, cause you might lose yourself, it's no easy task. 17 Likes 2 Shares |
