Bolt just reset all active drivers ACCEPTANCE RATE to 100% this week, how come people are being blocked with low score?

Mine is always low cause I am super picky about rides I accept, which should be in my right anyway.

Not all drivers know the same places, or are willing to go to same places, at the same rates and so on and so on.

They reset it, but I usually do like 7-10 rides a day out of like 120+ possible requests, so mine was already down without me even knowing, after the reset.

This is just some unnecessary obstacle by Bolt, cause who does it benefit to block drivers like me for low acceptance rates?

I was still paying commission to Bolt for my 7-10 rides per day

I was still conveying 7-10 people/groups per day

So how is it logical to remove me simply cause I have a low ratio of my 10 trips to all possible incoming requests?

Anyways, gonna use only destination trips on Bolt for the foreseeable future and maybe do my 10 trips on Sunday only and accept sooner so ratio is higher, so accept 10 of the first 30 trips or so

BOLT can't just let their drivers be. Even good drivers that don't do offline shh. Always coming up with demonic ways to block drivers for stupid reasons.

So for Bolt, it's better to get less commission from me, if I only do 2 destination trips and thus maintain a SUPERB acceptance rate, than to pay them 10 trips worth of commission with a 7 percent acceptance rate

They've even brought the 1 year blocking back for low acceptance rate.

WHY IS ACCEPTANCE RATE EVEN A THING

I just don't understand Bolt sometimes, it's almost like they love treating drivers like shhhh in Africa and Nigeria especially.

No cancellation fee like in their home country in black man land.

Then now a possible full year ban, just cause I don't want to accept a trip?

This is just out of spite on Bolts part, cause they have fastest fingers like indrive, where they throw a request to multiple drivers and the first to accept gets a trip, so again, whats the point of acceptance rate?

If Bolt should ban commission paying drivers for low acceptance rates, they don't even get that commission anymore. So lets say 10,000 drivers paying N5,000 commission daily get banned for low acceptance rate, Bolt loses N50,000,000 per day in commission.

So again, how does this even benefit BOLT? Again to my point of just trying to be as wicked as possible to drivers, cause this makes no logistical or financial sense on their part

They say, "oh riders can't get rides", but again, they have fastest fingers now, so a riders request could go to 10 drivers and eventually one would accept.

If I do the trips I want, they still get their commission. If I am blocked, then how does that help them, or the riders whose trips I would have accepted?

Cost per kilometer is a World standard in Road construction, used in ever single project from bidding to execution, by every single engineering company in the world.

Indrive will take about N1500 from the 8k you were to pay. His take home would have been about 6k. FFS 6k for driving 26km from VI to a traffic riddled Addo road? This hustle is the biggest modern day slavery in Nigeria at the moment . Even if you are on CNG, does 6k take home amount to labour and time? If the car was yours, would you pay someone 8k to drive you from VI to Addo in your own car and fuel?

There's no explaining why he bolted with your money. The fair deal for this trip is 15 - 20k in the prevailing economic situation. Maybe you should negotiate with him to return 60k to you. He may listen to that offer. Otherwise, just take it as karma.

At the end, driver might go home with 2k from that trip with possible car damage from entering potholes and gutters he can’t see in a flood.

I try to save/invest every single naira I get from this hustle, but sometimes, as a driver I’d be close to tears.

These apps treat African drivers like worms, like poo in the mud!!

They don’t even charge small cancellation fee, like N500.

A driver will drive 4km to pick someone, then the person would be free to just cancel like that? No one cares about the fuel and time burnt!! Rider will just order another SLAVE!

Obviously, there are few that follow driving rules and courtesy, but it’s like a select few.

Some might not be even realize they are being undisciplined. Some bus driver that stops on the road, might not even realize how he is causing pain to so many cars behind him that starts a chain reaction of slow traffic

I get there, park at the drop off area, just 5 steps before the main entrance that pedestrians walk through.

Lady did not agree to walk those 5 steps, telling me to drive forward and block that entrance to pick her.

Bolt without their campaigns sometimes is such a struggle.

I feel those campaigns are even our money sef - Like 9 rides for 9k - I feel that's part of the high commission we pay to Bolt that they decide to give back a few times a month, with high requirements. I still remember the one of 11k for 13 rides. I been wan faint that day.

Without those campaigns, it's a struggle for me on the island with all these N2k trips. I even saw one today for N1.8k, I was shocked. Though it was a short trip, but still man, chai.

Bought 18k fuel today and could barely gross 36k

Bought 12k fuel yesterday and in trying to gross 24k, my fuel finished, lol. Though I did run some personal errands, but still. Thank God i was near a filling station when the car shut down.

No surge recently on the island, what gives? Guess too many cars here, awon lagride, bolt, uber, cabzero...

Sometimes you get generous tippers that make your day worth it. Like this Angel guy that paid 15k to wait for a little bit. Excellent income while car is shutdown and petrol consumption is zero.

Bolt needs to increase prices slightly men and drop their commission.

But it seems they will never, ever, ever drop that commission.

I was just looking at my monthly statement on Bolt and noticing how much I pay in commission. Like you'd see 300k and I know fuel would probably have been like 150k, so net for me would be like 150k, yet YOU'D SEE LIKE 80K BOLT COMMISSION, CHAI.

I feel like a slave sometimes, so I get 150k with all the suffering and they get 80k for doing almost nothing WTF?
