mtisTheQubit:Actually it will be better you called it conflict of interest. Because some Muslim and Christian are not even in support of others. Nigeria issue cut across many factors. And religion actually is just a cover up. |
mtisTheQubit:i actually don't really know what interest Google of setting up In a nation not even close to 1/3rd of Nigeria . ( because Google will depend on data to flourish the lab and Ghana population or activity might not be enough for this) But i suspect Ghana vice president probably is the key behind it . he championed the idea since late 2017 when Google sent some technocrat down Ghana. But this is what a reporter to CNN have to say.
|
mtisTheQubit:The reality is. GHANA and Nigeria are more closer to each other than even togo or benin their respective neighbour. if Nigeria really have the kind of law and policy makers just like that of Ghana. by now, she will be competing with advance nation. 2.3 million barrel of oil a day isn't a joke. |
mtisTheQubit:Yes, and likewise powerful oil COMPANY like exxon mobil who recently open up a new office this week and ENI oil company was recently awarded a right to explore Ghana sea in search of more oil. Goverment policies and peaceful enviroment seems to be the key that is unlocking this development. over four Caribbean country are willing to abolish visa for Ghanaian citizens. Jamaica had from July 1 become a visa free to Ghanaian. A positive direction i think. And there is this 400 years home calling, All Africans that has been taken thru slavery are encourage to come home. The bigger event will take place next month. GHANA is making money and at the same championing pan African movement. Ghana is currently lobby to have the headquater of the Afctfa. I hope it comes to fruition . it has the ability to change the economy of the state. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJGydWeXln0 |
mtisTheQubit:Great. your airways . kenya airways is a proud sponsor of national maths and science competition in Ghana this year.. In Ghana the competition is even bigger than fifa. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-africa-44898405 |
spendoon:These people are integrated into the system already. They are Muslim as well which automatically make them a family member of their host community in the North. There is NOTHING to be done about it. unless religion will not intervene with politics. |
mtisTheQubit:is there anything like national maths and science competition for high schools in Kenya? |
spendoon:There are many Malian and niger citizen's in Nigeria army. |
samorobo:There is difference between Niger Hausa and Nigeria hausa. The Hausa language is even difference though understandable just like Yoruba in Nigeria and Yoruba in benin rebublic. The northern actually know the diffrence and some of us who have spend considerable years in the North. If you want to know how Nigeria take immigrants issue serious, you may need to visit seme border. The northern border is very porous and base on religious similarites with Niger which is very dear to the Hausa than nationalism, they care less about regularising them. |
Pavore9:unfortunately this is not an intellectulized submission.. particularly in the face science of doubt called scepticism |
TayserMahri:Then we are brothers. We share many similarites A Nigeria nor Ghanaian is close to you than any non African who acquired kenya citizenship Tell me about your gods and their symbols. |
TayserMahri:good. Is it idolized and celebrate?.because in west Africa .palm wine hold a lot of prestige base on our tradition. Either wedding or naming ceremony. You willl surely find it. |
TayserMahri:if Nigeria North is a country on her own. I bet she will perform very well on that list. And know that the meat according to definition is not limited to cow beef only. |
TayserMahri:nah, the igbo one is made of wood. But generally all Nigerians and west Africa have something like that base on tradition. Yoruba and the Akan people of Ghana still prefer to use it to take palm wine till today.. Do you have Palm wine in Kenya? |
TayserMahri:whaoo. West Africa are lovers of meat. Meat are garnished in different styles in W africa. There is cow intestine pepper soup on its own. There is even a special treat for cow head . It is a meal on its own. We have kilichi That is dry suya . It is plaster with groundnut paste. Very tasty. I recommend this one for you. It is common in Nigeria north and there is the version in Ghana north. Called chichinga. Very tasty too . I prefer taking Yoruba cow leg pepper soup. I personally love something pepperish . Chinese organ soup is super cool. But you need to be watchful of your stomach for the first time. Don't consume much. |
TayserMahri:It is cow intestine/cow leg . And the plate is not that deep but look big .the meat is actually 1/3rd of that plate. . It is traditional plate accustomed to the igbo. If you have taken Chinese organ soup. There is no much diffrence. Apart from, Chinese own is watery while that of Nigeria is thick. |
wingmanII:Don't argue what you don't know. Iran is sitting down on something over 250 tonnes of uranium. And they have some of the best engineer in the world. So to have a nuclear weapon is not a big deal. But if you doubt me and can read. Just visit and read some document here.https://www.iaea.org/newscenter/focus/iran/iaea-and-iran-iaea-reports |
wingmanII:Already they have a nuclear weapon. What matter now is the amount of it in their disposal. |
Jonraid:Go take some kebab and cold beer. ![]() |
Jonraid:hope you make some money. |
Problemkid1:it is unbelievable right?. Cameroon is never a good bet with Nigeria. Maybe the history will change now. |
Problemkid1:Ghana will be facing the best second in group E |
Problemkid1:nah it is the opposite. Cameroon draw benin. That make them have five point and second on the table . GHANA will be leading base on number of scores. |
Cameroon vs Nigeria. It is gonna be a game of revenge. Black star still dissapoint me. They should have flog benin. Black star topping the table with goal score. |
Problemkid1:This is miss world runner up 2013 . A ghanaian. I actually don't think any African has come close apart from Nigeria and south Africa who won miss world respectively . Naa by name.
|
RTSC:You see your own input. Very pathetic . It shows you dont even have the information at hand just like the prof. Sub Saharan African countries does not include Egypt. And if Egypt is included. Then Ghana with a population of 30 million and just 13 public university will be third in the entire africa. The fact are available online to check. Well, your prof already deny saying so. GHANA is not insufficient of prof. It is good to have educational exchange across africa . There are Ghanaian prof in Nigeria as well. And to lecture you. GHANAIAN educationist open up adult education both in university of ibadan and nigeria at large. Dr kweku attah that is the maternal uncle of the recently deceased former United Nations’ Secretary-General, Mr. Kofi (Atta) Annan – . There are over 12000 Nigerians schooling in Ghana base on estimation. ( it is rightly more than that) investing heavily into Ghana economy directly and indirectly. That is a shame for Nigeria. Nigeria should be enjoying the position right. But rational minded individual/ parent knows acquiring a degree in Ghana is what is pedigree. Ghana is not the same as togo or benin. Theer There are even benin and togo student in Ghana. How many Ghanaian are schooling in Nigeria. No Ghanaian will in his right sense pick a Nigeria uni unless he was born here or sponsored on scholarship. I am in the system so i know. since at least 1960, until 1982, Nigerians had never outperformed their Ghanaian counterparts at both the “Ordinary” and “Advanced” levels at the General Certification Examinations (GCE). So, it is rather fascinating to hear Prof. Nwagbara stake his grandiose claims in favor of the supposedly nonesuch quality of Nigerian university or tertiary education, vis-à-vis the quality of the latter’s Ghanaian counterpart. Even The recent wassce tell. In education. I am sorry Nigeria is just coming. |
rvp2018:This does not portray the standard of your intelligence. Ghanaian women had once once hold miss world runner up. When you are talking about handsome in men why are you using obasonjo as a yardstick of Yoruba men. Check out and see for yourself. |
effty:lol. Be proud about it. Ok let me suggest. Oxford university |
Mkenya2019:wode is not good looking.interesting. How do you measure good looking? |
RTSC:This is not an inteligent reply. It should rather be the opposite. The way It is in the 60s. It is orther west african citizens who should be flocking Nigeria institution not the opposite. Nigeria has over 350 universities with new ones springing up almost every day yet she can't attract foreign student in comparism to a country with less than 13 public uni and a handful of private colledge. Something is wrong somewhere. It is either Nigeria education aren't attractive enough we don't have international brand. Well, Ghana is second to south africa in sub Saharan africa in the list of country with highest number of foreign student. It is not only Nigerians schooling in Ghana. Even American, British, Chinese are also in the country. Ghana has gotten a long-established image and known reputation of her universities and colleges for excellence in the past which appears to be woefully lacking on the part of the flagship of Nigerian academies. |
RTSC:well. The prof isn't just a worker at unilag but a former pro vice chancellor. That is a big position by the way . Well, he is incorrect as he himself later agree and apologised. He only work with legon for just a year and that was far back 2012. The funny thing about the prof is he has been in Ghana for the past 7 years seeking for job opportunity in one institution and the other. The country he ignorantly claim as an inferior education to Nigeria. Just imagine. The school he works with is UEW and it is one of the youngest university in Ghana. Well, the school already sacked him base on the condemning speech. Check what he says below. ""Embattled visiting Nigerian Professor, Augustine Uzoma Nwagbara who has been sacked by the University of Education, Winneba(UEW) says the videotape that has led to his dismissal was doctored. According to him, he did not utter some of the things attributed to him on the video which are considered to be disparaging to Ghana. The University of Education on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, terminated the contract of the visiting Nigerian professor who was seen in a video inciting Nigerians against Ghana. The decision to terminate the contract was taken after a Disciplinary Committee of the university conducted a probe into the content of the video. Content of the video has been widely condemned by Ghanaians over fears it could further polarise the recent tensed relationship between locals and Nigerians residing in the country. The Public Relations Officer of the University of Education, Ernest Azutiga, told Host Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM that the remorseful Prof. Nwagbara denied many of the content on the tape when he appeared before the Disciplinary Committee. “On the issue of Nigerian universities being 80% better than Ghana’s he said he never said that. On the issue of revenue that the University of Ghana accrues as a result of Nigerian students schooling there, he said he never uttered such claims and that he has no statistics to back that, also the fact that UEW begged him to stay in Ghana he claims he never said that. He stressed that the video was doctored and doesn’t fully reflect what he said." “Prof. Nwagbara when he appeared before the committee regretted the content of the video and apologized for the disgrace caused the reputable university even though he insisted the video was doctored. He was shocked the video came out because he didn’t see anyone recording the meeting,” Mr. Azutiga added. Mr. Azutiga noted that his own investigations have established that Prof. Nwagbara is a fine lecturer, only that he got carried away by nationalism during his meeting with his compatriots hence the kind of utterances he made"" |
asuustrike1:it is very cheap and has sizeable Nigerians back home doing the PRO on behalf of the college. Even Nigeria graduate automatically become an ambassador. It is reasonable you patronized a school that will make you feel at home. |
