ORIJIN201:'re you asking me this. Don't you read when he said the present Ghana Goverment came purposely to witch hunt Nigerians and the provoking statement he says about Ghana educational systems fallen below standard. |
ORIJIN201:i over watched it. No reasonable country will accept such an inciteful statement. |
Esseite:This is empty threat. Did he say those words in the lecture room? If you are a lecturer and you meet you kinsmen at a social gathering and you make inciteful comments, would that amount to academic freedom? I am disappointed by this statement from the Union. They should have rather apologized on behalf of their colleague. I am more disappointed by their quote. Is it what you say Ghana's education standard is 80% below that of Nigeria? You could not even appreciate the context of what you quoted! Which reasonable country will allow such a speech? Will American prof teaching in Canadian uni condemn Canada EDUCATIONAl System. |
Jonraid:lol......also in Hausa it means hook ( The small pin used in cashing smaller fishes) in Arabic, it means invitation ... |
Ghana launched new industrial park. ""Dawa industrial zone""

TayserMahri:America and the developed world need to get used to the fact that there has been a change in the balance of power. That is my stake. Well, i am aware Americans and the other developed world are having a hard time just coming to terms that they have been beaten. The Chinese are no longer the pushovers . from lmportation and exportation of simple items, the Chinese were now exporting semi-conductors and building their own air carriers. Well mutiplolar seems to be very impressive in a globalised world for a global stability. The Chinese telecom giant, Huawei Communications is currently the leading company in the development of the next generation of internet (5G) in the entire world. And for the first time not America. |
samorobo:Well, the Chinese are no longer pushover. |
theenchanter:why? America and the EU are currently challenging China for influence in africa now. Competition still goes on. China has become a major player, the better , the faster, the world power are aware. |
theenchanter:well to be nationalistic is very good.. but to be sensitive to feelings of others is also very important. Even among his friends, there live his enemy. All what he says are full of factual inaccuracies; he is only trying to make his citizens unnecessary proud. they are all lies; and they are the barking of a toothless dog! He has since feel remorseful about his action. He even denied it. Well, i think azikwe and inkrumah didn't see this coming cus during their time there was no passport talkless of residential card for the citizens to be able to live in each country without any form of intimidation. I am sure if dead talk, azikwe will feel ashamed today and be very mad with the the prof. |
theenchanter:when you factor in what india invest in health and EDUCATION and compare it to what the Asia tigers , including Japan and China did. You will realised. India perform very poor. |
theenchanter:is it because you are unable to decode the ill in his statement which he later claim to be doctored after feeling remorseful? Well lies and emotion isn't equal to nationalism |
theenchanter:be objective and drop the shade. |
tylann:The school is seriously dealing with him to the extent of withdrawing some of his entitlement after he was sacked. . He will behave next time and learn diplomacy. Hopefully it will serve as deterrent for others individual like him who thinks talking big make you look smarter. |
Goel:Then have a medical checkup I have tried multiple interpretations of your argument and all were useless and faulty in same way.The madness symptoms identify again. Population doesn't lead to economic growth. Demographic dividend does. Population just helps to have bigger economy.population and economic growth grow hands in hands. It quickly creates more labor force and consumers, as well as automatically help on increasing demand for most goods and services. In general it's increases market size, well, there may be an exception to country with massive poverty issues such as India. India already failed to invest in the health and education sector which fuel up the progress of the pooulated economy. Japan, China and Korea use this very model to speed up their growth. And poor underfunded of India into this critical sector has been identify has one the issue leading to her poor performance.. Population has nothing to do with economic boom. It rather just attracts some forex reserves.population increases market size which in turn attract investors and then add up to the market value and then boom the stock exchange while increasing the profit margin of shareholders which majorly are citizens of such a country. And at The long run. The citizens benefit. Any market booms when it's open. It could be small European country with low population or any biggie like China or India. No one will invest in a closed market.open market open up an economy for buisness, market size add value to it. Once a market is saturated, vendors move to other. Large markets have greater room for vendors to sell their stuff hence larger companies. Large, not exceptional growth.well saturated market might not pose much of a risk to a bigger populated market, since competition will rises , differentiation will quickly be notice, value for money will also be important and at the end of the day. The country benefit. And more millionaire created. Migration has nothing to do with population again. People will go where they get money in any small or largely populated countrymigration has much to do with population since populated city are urban area with more job concentration. That is why city with much imdustry have a bigger population growth. The more industrial a CITY become, the more populated the city becomes.. That depends upon the kind of economy adopts. Not necessary. It depends upon country whether it chooses to industrialize itself and have skilled laborBoth goes hands in hands. An industrialized nation will definitely produce more skilful labours. You can't be industrialised without being skilful. Your input here make no sense. . I agreed on some few. On aggregate, India was much poorer than Africa while has surpassed right now.. What diffrent does it make, when you factor in per capital as a standard measured of an economy, India case is not really impressive. And It's not confirmation bias, list up the African countries in all human development indicators, population growth or competitiveness and compare against India. Africa's primary reason of wealth was high natural resources per capita. Only small couple of countries worked upon.Out of 54 states of africa, 35 States has per capital income less than that of india. There js 19 state in Africa that actually has a better economy well-being than India. Your case is still not difference from nit -picking. Similarly, Ukraine and Moldava with per capita incomes closer to India are stark different from India.Your input is actually not inteligent enough, what are you trying to pass across.. replying me the question, i earlier ask you. Indian diaspora even stays in Afghanistan and far more helish African and other countries. Their purpose is generate money from markets around. They don't have to leave for set of reasons like healthcare, education or daily life unlike Africans.when you understand this, why then are you using this as a claim to prove India is better cus more Africans migrate there. Don't you see your own logic flawed your initial assumptions. Just as i said migration happen for so many reasons and economic purpose is just single factor. Or applying your logic, westeters reside in Southeast Asia too.It is your logic, it flawed you. You erroneously claim Africans are migrating to India cus India is more successful. That is a huge ignorance. Overall population growth of Africa is almost 4 times of India. India's population is big, not growth.what actually will thia growth translated to in a century? Will it kick out India being the highest populated nation. Dressing up to take over from India. This figure absolutely did not favour Asia, since that continent Will still account for the largest people on earth and Africa is not going to take that position not even in a century. It is inapplicable of factual fact and ignorance of you to be putting the total figure of a CONTINENT against a country. That is an abusive approach to education. . Even for size, United Nations doesn't agree with you.The growth of India in a century or right at the moment. Anyway this seems to me mkre accurate as it follow the new adopted figure. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.timesofindia.com/india/by-2030-world-will-have-8-6-billion-people-1-5-billion-of-them-in-india/amp_articleshow/59277566.cms There will be multiple countries from 2050 to 2100 which will have 30% to 50% populations of China & India and will even reach 1 billion in following century.sure, but it will not replaced India and China taking the first and second spot accordingly. It rather favors what I said than you. Going to 1.5 billion from 1.37 billion already isn't a big deal. Indian population growth is slow and will even start to decline around 2050. China already is.You may need to follow this report again. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.timesofindia.com/india/by-2030-world-will-have-8-6-billion-people-1-5-billion-of-them-in-india/amp_articleshow/59277566.cms It's Nigeria who's going to have its population more than doubled. No one is contending that fact. Nigeria in the next fifty years wiill still not reached a billion. Even with 2.6 birth rate. Factually incorrect. China and India had nearly same GDP in ancient and modern times. It was only 30-40 years back where Chinese economic boom made it an upper middle income country while India left as a lower middle income one.Any evidence for this? Based on the verified data available, China economy is bigger than the whole of Europe and America combine then, and in the mordern era, China has never been equal to the standard of African nations in the entire history of mordern China. while India had once rated at per or even below African States in many data years back . As Chinese population ages, it will slow down to culmination. So forth, the pace at which Indian economy and per capita income has been growing faster than Africa, India's economy (right now 30% bigger) will be many times bigger than African continent with just 1/4th of population.. Actually I am fed up of writting, but let me quickly make one or two statement. Two most important resources of life is land and human. And no nation can become a global power without having them in abundant. India has about 10 percent of the world agriculture land ( This is natural resources thay is not even available in china). But China produce and export more agricultural product than India. This shows something is wrong somewhere. China adopt mordern technology to benefit from what India should have gotten freely. In the space of about 40 years, Brazil another populated country was transformed from a country that could not feed its people into the 'agricultural superpower' that it is today. The secret behind this remarkable transformation. Which was a major investment by the government in agricultural research. New Zealand rake heavily on her agricultural export. Yes diversification is important but agicuture is necessary . Sustainability of all economy sector should be all way round. http://www.fao.org/3/ag087e/AG087E07.htm I will not reply you next time as i will feel lazy to do so. Make it short and Less of flaws. |
babytoun:if he indeed beg for his stupidity who are you to complain. Anyway he already deny and apologised so he is left my hook as that is what I am currently expecting from him. He has honourably denied he said so and feel sober and remorseful . Who are we not to forgive... we are not ghad. And for your insisting, keep insisting, it is not prof Nwagbara issue anymore. |
So Mr Nwagbara can actually beg after the chest beating. Sacked ‘inciting’ Nigerian Professor Nwagbara claims video was doctored Prof. Augustine Uzoma Nwagbara.png Professor, Augustine Uzoma Nwagbara Embattled visiting Nigerian Professor, Augustine Uzoma Nwagbara who has been sacked by the University of Education, Winneba(UEW) says the videotape that has led to his dismissal was doctored. According to him, he did not utter some of the things attributed to him on the video which are considered to be disparaging to Ghana. The University of Education on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, terminated the contract of the visiting Nigerian professor who was seen in a video inciting Nigerians against Ghana. The decision to terminate the contract was taken after a Disciplinary Committee of the university conducted a probe into the content of the video. Content of the video has been widely condemned by Ghanaians over fears it could further polarise the recent tensed relationship between locals and Nigerians residing in the country. The Public Relations Officer of the University of Education, Ernest Azutiga, told Host Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM that the remorseful Prof. Nwagbara denied many of the content on the tape when he appeared before the Disciplinary Committee. “On the issue of Nigerian universities being 80% better than Ghana’s he said he never said that. On the issue of revenue that the University of Ghana accrues as a result of Nigerian students schooling there, he said he never uttered such claims and that he has no statistics to back that, also the fact that UEW begged him to stay in Ghana he claims he never said that. He stressed that the video was doctored and doesn’t fully reflect what he said." “Prof. Nwagbara when he appeared before the committee regretted the content of the video and apologized for the disgrace caused the reputable university even though he insisted the video was doctored. He was shocked the video came out because he didn’t see anyone recording the meeting,” Mr. Azutiga added. Mr. Azutiga noted that his own investigations have established that Prof. Nwagbara is a fine lecturer, only that he got carried away by nationalism during his meeting with his compatriots hence the kind of utterances he made. budaatum:Theatrical |
Beninwitch:Not in Ghana or elsewhere aside Nigeria . Even in Nigeria,, if he has a political ambition he should stay clear of it from now as his chances look very dimming and damaging. |
babytoun:Feeding my question back at me is an act of gulibility. The prof disgrace academia fraternity and you shouldn't be here Seen licking his ass. Be objective enough to know when it is wrong. |
budaatum:but Buda, sensitive lssues demand objectivity. Where you are, it is humanity first before nationality. And that to me count. |
babytoun:Hopefully you have gotten an interpreter? If so, what elude your reasoning for his polarity and subjectivity statement? |
ken6488: ![]() |
thesicilian:He made a provocative statement without factual data, saying the new administration of Ghana came purposely for Nigeria negativity . That is so foolish of him . No sensitive country will take that, Nigeria gov't can react negatively with such move assuming it is a true statement. Actually, it was a secrete meeting between some selected Nigerians in the country. He was invited to also share ideas just like someone did before him. But his voice and idea become very implicative. And someone among those who invited him ( The Nigerians whom i think disagree with his idea or think he may air the idea on social media to reprimand Ghanaian how hard they are preparing for comeback actually made him become a public nuisance. As at yesterday, he was heavily interrogated by Ghana police and more info was gathered from him ( that will soon become a public news later) he was seen looking very remorseful as he feel very betray by his own fellow Nigerians and at the same regret his utterances. |
ken6488:Ok. Chest beating continue. Don't replicate chest beating life styles in Egypt. Egypt takes no nonsense. Your judgment will be worst than what the Nigeria army are facing in Sambisa. |
babytoun:maybe you need the video to be interpreted in your local dialect at least for a better understanding. |
ken6488:chest beating as usual.... : ![]() |
Nukilia:Then you are not in touched with reality. You and the prof are living in utopia No erudite scholar will sound that way anyway. Most at times, illiterates also cut their way into the midst of intellectual. |
Nukilia:Not even benin rebublic will be willing to offer a help this time. No sensitive job will he get abroad again with such a move. Even in Nigeria the video can be used against him if he decide to contest for any political seat. He is indeed foolish once again. |
Nukilia:Ghana is democratic and she is not run by fools. His prestige had been cut off and his appointment terminated( That alone is enough). He just experience psychological torture . I bet you it will be difficult for him to get similar job aborad now. He is indeed foolish. |
thesicilian:I read the last paragraph twice and I conclude the man is a war monger. Give it to any security analyst and let them analysed the gruesome effect of that utterances. If he try this in Libya during gaddafi reign, he will not see the second day, as he will be sleeping peacefully in his grave. GHANA is indeed peaceful. |
ken6488:Yes, chest beating is bitter. |
