Very tragic. Good gesture by the American neighbors |
Most Nigerian planes are older than some people on Nairaland. |
tell the gold-digger to go to hell |
Interesting!!! |
Dealdey is a deal to beat. Very admirable. As for Classifieds, Dealfish is the ultimate. They have classifieds engine for other countries in Africa. Nairaland is just a talk forum with a weak interface. |
Please rethink. What if governments in other countries say Nigerians must go too? |
efe22: Hello, I live in Benin City. What happened was that the crane use for the construction hit one of the three storey buildings which led to the collapse. Only the 65yr old Italian engineer died after long rescue operation that lasted till this morning. Don't trust any body in Naija as PDP could be the masterminder. If that structure is completed, would have be one of the best in the country considering the quality of material being use. B/C is not known for collapse of buildings unlike Lagos. God have mercies. efe22: Hello, I live in Benin City. What happened was that the crane use for the construction hit one of the three storey buildings which led to the collapse. Ladies that hang in clubs unguided, beware oooo |
Some people have the gift of prophecy. TB Joshua seems to be one of those with that gift. Rather than mock them, lets listen to them. That's what cultures did in ancient times. |
Lets avoid another issue of "we were warned and did nothing'. NCAA should make sure that not only Air Nigeria but all airliners maintain proper aviation standards |
If those tears are for real, the NCAA should be reformed. |
Are any of the kids twins? |
The recent Dana air crash was a gore tragedy to behold. A plane crash-landing on a residential area right on top of a building took not only fatalities from its passengers and crew but also from innocent residents who never knew a Dana airline was arriving Lagos that day. It's such a pity. Unfortunately, what has happened has happened. The bottomline here is to learn from our mistakes for the sake of the future. The normal Nigerian mentality is to blame the government for any of its woes. But with the emergence of the fact of poor maintenance issues that Dana Airlines have been having with the said plane, that's really puts them in bad light. Especially as a foreign-owned company which should be setting standards for Nigerian ones, it was really a dissapointment. The NCAA(Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority), the government body in charge of aviation has also being inefficient in the past. If they had a strict system where maintenance issues are not undermined, I think we would have been saved from a lot of air crashes. So to avert another National disaster, who do you think deserves the blame: Dana Airlines, NCAA or the Nigerian system? Also what are your recommendations that should be done to improve the aviation sector, so we could be air-crash free like some nations have been for several decades. |
Dana airlines is gonna take big heat for this shit. May the souls of the passengers including the Chinese, Indian and other nationals rest in peace. |
A usual Nigerian scenario. The situation was preventable and so many lives could have been saved but...... |
Thanks for the article. I plan on swimming sooon. Any pool in Lagos credible when it comes to hygiene? |
Source of this news please? |

My sympathy flows for them. So unfortunate |
Touching!!! |

Dondbuzor: D only thing I think d watch ll be useful for in dis naija is for exam malpractice, that's all.some people simply love gadgets and that is it. They can pay as long as it is a pride to own it. |
Poor Mubarak, he's already a sick man with serious health issues. They want him to die like that in jail with his two only sons incarcerated too. For service for his country, this sentence should be reconsidered |
May his soul rest in peace |
