karpentar: Folks are not only underpaid but even the "peanuts" are delayed for months and you think it wouldn't lead to stress? Not even sure the fellow had good night sleep due to NEPA stimulated tough conditions and yet you expect "customer is always right" to be applicable in Nigeria. It's a JOKE!!!!!Spot on my broda....POWER SHOW is a standard practice in NIGERIA, just of recent I read about senate vice president that says Nigerian Politicians are Ignorant and aggressive and majority of them can't write down their names. When you have wrong people in charge of a company or business, the practice will be dire. How can people work without PAY. My experience in Nigerian Banks is very very frustrating whenever I come to the country. A company request for a STAMP of my bank's and OJUELEGBA branch told me they won't be able to do that unless I go to MY BRANCH at Gbagada or I pay #1000 for the stamp. Can someone explain what kind of service is that and the whole Branch are all network? |
My amazement at your ignorance is only exceeded by my surprise at your unwillingness to open up your mind and think like human. That guy has just taught you how to think and talk responsibly. You can't come to the internet and insult our country, our President, our Judiciary, our armed forces and every little symbol that represent us as a country and expect to go unchallenged, moreso when his challenge is just presenting you as a very immature type that take pleasure at insulting things far bigger than you. You want your opinion that Nigeria should be rated as the country with the worst roads on earth respected when you don't even know that the gallop report did not come from empirical research but from folks who think like you and you seem not to have visited more than 20 countries in the world. Stop projecting your inferiority complex and self defeatism. It is shameful.
I am glad that you guys are passionate about Nigeria but both of you seems not getting it, as you can't understand my views from a different perspectives. I don't even know you and I was not talking to neither ROSSIKE or whatever he called himself, I'll suggest you learn how to approach people in a decent manner rather than attacking or insulting. I am also a Nigerian like you and I never come to NL to insult no one but express my VIEWS as you guys are very ARROGANT and never appeared to have remorse for other people's Opinion. I'll suggest you look at my FIRST POSTING to see if there's any insult to your Uncle....Mr Nigeria. Remember we are not in MILITARY ERA, it's a democratic world where there's freedom of expression. |
dabigwalls: Our society needs to engage in some re-orientation of sorts for our upcoming young men and women. "LONDON" as we used to fondly call it and grow goose pimples over 20 years ago is no longer the same LONDON o. There are stinking locations in london, dirty streets and a lot of weekday drunkenness. While they have a very high sense of organisation and are usually very decent people, the jobs have gone into thin air, rates are not looking good, and you still cant park your car in front of your house in some places o. you pay TV license to watch TV, you do insurance for car and sometimes insurance costs more than car value, you must pay council tax apart from rent, London no be "LONDON" like that again oooo, london hustle pass lag hustle oNOT ON POINT AT ALL Why do we like to condone bad characters that tarnished Nigerian Image abroad. Some of us ONLY have the intention of going abroad to STEAL, come back home with false money and makes the HARD WORKING ONES looks like they are fools. For your information there are over 10k Nigerians alone in UK prison....Staggering amount of Nigerian citizen in jail let alone in other EUROPEAN countries jail, down to US and south America as well as African countries. We also have the GOOD ONES working really hard, following the rules and regulations, paying their Taxes and cars are parked on the street with RESIDENTIAL PERMIT if you are residence, this are Basic rules to follow. Some of my mate have been deported with couple of yrs of their arrival because some are on the Fast lane while some violate rules and over stayed. I honestly can't understand how all you've said have got to do with the PRICE OF FISH. My brother this is just the Problem we are having with our leaders and Religious leaders.....so why won't Ordinary people follows. Thieves are nothing but thieves. GOD PUNISH DEVIL. |
ROSSIKE: Dude, you said Nigeria had the worst roads of any country on earth. I then asked you how many nations you've visited. And then you start preaching. People like you need to watch the RUBBISH you type. Don't type RUBBISH off the top of your head and expect people to respect what you wrote. You besmirched Nigeria unwarrantedly and as a Nigerian I will come at you for that. You talk of how ''blessed'' Nigeria is. Sure we are ''blessed'' with natural resources and human capital, but it takes a whole lot more than that to be an advanced nation. Or else virtually every country on earth will be advanced. Nigeria is not unique in owning vast resources. A nation of the size, diversity, and recent independence (50 years) of Nigeria needs time to evolve its political, social, economic, and ideological institutions, as well as its ethical identity, to a point where the national project can operate at optimal levels. YOUR duty as a Nigerian is not to come here constantly denigrating the country and its people, posting lies and negative exaggerations about the country, but rather to find ways of contributing positively to the national project. Are you a spokes man for Government of Crooks cos your grammar is just meaningless. Your problem is that you don't understand what is called VIEWS or OPINION.....check it out, understand it so you can respect other people's views without attacking them. You are very very OPINIONATED. |
Why is he getting involve in Telecom issue, has people started doing 2/3 jobs in Nigeria? Na wa oo, I beg sort out CBN and all banking issue first....busy body. Telecom regulators where are you before sanusi take your JOB oo. |
Event Date: 13 November 2012 (Archived) Time: Overseers and religious leaders should go to prison' - Pastor Tunde Bakare All General overseers and religious leaders must go to prison, so they can feel the Nigerian situation. Lock Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Kumuyi, myself and others up in a Nigerian prison, may be if we come out we will change and put the interest of our people first. Preaching greed is sin, we have the confidence of millions of people and continue to fail them, that must change' - Pastor Tunde Bakare That's exactly what should happen to all Dubious church leaders. Carry go T Bakare. |
Wadeoye: The report is not far from the truth if you have been to some of the countries in the report.Thank you very much for your broad view and not some Narrow minded that's have no exposure but what surrounds them. We've been existing before DUBAI that have ONLY oil and we have many more, yet we can't sort things out and we can't even attract TOURIST with all our natural Beaches. |
Rossikk: Wow...How many countries have you visited? You must be a seasoned traveller to countries far and wide to make that comment.Bro wetin I do you before you start to dey Yab, it's only a comment I made. It's A free platform that people comes to express their Opinion and I think it's right to do so without any fear. It's your opinion to say I travel seasonal but your comment demonstrate A complete ignorant as you can't stand other people's views or Opinion, Typical. All the pictures posted on this thread in Nigeria are MAIN roads, what about street roads or should I say residential roads? If only you know the WEIGHT of NIGERIA and how bless the country is then you'll UNDERSTAND my comment. Nigeria should be leading in Africa but we are TOP in corruption and that has affect our development. My OPINION again is that EVERY VILLAGE ROAD SHOULD BE ACCESSIBLE and not just the road to Ministers house. |
Why didn't we come last.....I'm sure that ranking is not right at all as we don't deserve to be ahead of any country as our leaders life is ruin of corruption. |
Without a doubt.....corruption have destroy the intestine of our system and our refineries is definitely the worst in the world. |
sexyval: I'm a lady and I'm yet to see any guy more intelligent than myself ,guys are such a dumbass .That's what I'm talking about, with such attitude, you'll find it difficult to find a man because your comment speaks volume of Arrogance in you. |
Umm Very Tricky. I can date her only if she has good personality and not Arrogant. |
Cheating is a Standard practice by all this Provider but they become worse when they find a FREE COUNTRY Nigeria where Crime and cheating is their Ethics. Latest news in UK is about the power supplier. There's been a serious accusation against them cheating the customer....and their Bosses will be summoned to commons to be grilled by the MPS. But can Nigerian stealing Senator Question PHCN BOSS or DANGOTE why their product is OVER PRICED and not up to Standard. That's the world we are living in, the poor always pay for the rich. Nigeria I hail thee. |
Very good thread. I'll say HANDY WORK is skill for life and job for life whereas degree is also good. I've seen lots of people in UK dropping City job for handy work, it's the best form of job, everything goes round you, make 100% of profit unlike degree or working for someone. I must say I regret not learning BRICK LAYING, MECHANICS & many more handy trade before leaving Nigeria rather than wasting many yrs on bloody JAMB before gaining admission to UNILAG. Our society is full of mess and no regards for trades but they play important ROLE in the society and having the MOST SENSELESS LEADERS ON THE PLANET do not help as they are clueless in all area. Pls Observe your society and learn a trade that's need all the time. Some of the WHITE BOSSES DO NOT ATTEND UNIVERSITY but they control over 500-1000 worker in my office they are well paid, even a bus driver is respected in the society. |
Can you blame the Chinese? A country like Nigeria only have Laws in the book but never practice it, it shows how our Government of CROOKS value NIGERIANS and Chinese could come into the country to establish a business that will leads to i'll treatment.....There's no Employment Laws and if there's Top people won't listen because of BRIBE. This is where we are now, WE NEED TO SORT OURSELVES OUT FIRST before we can start complaining. Come to UK and try that mess then you'll smell yourself when the Law clamp on you. Nigeria I Hail thee. |
Nigeria I hail thee. Why buy Air craft when Corruption is a way of life and mismanagement is their Motor. We are wasteful nation and we can get our priority right. With this type people in government, it's impossible, impossibilization......Koni se se. Our foundation for all this things are not solid. |
I'm sure there people on this NL that spells their names in a different way and I wonder WHY? Chinese, Srilanka, India, even an English man will not change or spell his or her name wrongly let alone changing. Bro & Sis, be yourself, whatever will be will be. My name is ISMAILA but I'll prefer the last alphabet A to be taken off because it's an Arab name and it's spells wrongly and it should be ISMAIL. I LOVE THE NAME AND THE WAY IT'S BEEN SPELT IN NIGERIA BECAUSE IT REFLECT WHERE I COME FROM. |
Lagos must not be destroy except those with bad intention will be flushed out. Eko Oni Baje oo |
Can anyone point out to me the state in Nigeria that tolerate the rest of the country apart from Lagos. People have to check their fact and do research before slagging off the Gov. This is the ONLY STATE the opens the forearm to embrace every works of life and offers Opportunity, not a lot tolerate this type of Ethics in NIGERIA. |
topsyking: I once thought this kind of accident only happens in INDIA and pakistan..where lot of pple enter train...but I was surprise that it happen for the first time in lagos..something must be wrong somewhere...Accident can happen anywhere in the world as it has happen in UK before, it's usually a human error in other words, it could negligent or inadequate training. My worries are no lack if medical facilities to respond quickly to such things in Nigeria as our TYPICAL LEADERS are full of greed and lack focus. |
Irrespective of the family neglection, this shows another downside of Nigerian society, it's shows we have no government and we don't give a shit about human life but loves prosperity, we lack caring attitude and no compassion for unhealthy people.....Happiday and Pastor tried but Local government need to be more helpful to avoid seeing human being in this tragic situation. Really sad, RIP. |
CHESSBOARD: Hmmm, Yoruba and JUJU..... they study and practice JUJUlogy as a major professionWhy are you so full of Tribalism and disregards for other people, what has his issue of this poor man's death got to do with Yoruba....SICK. |
Na dem dem ooh....speak to your friends |
Umm this is serious and it's becoming dangerous. I do understand people have to pay tax in other to raise money for the development of the states but I totally disagree with this idea of TV and RADIO licence. We are NIGERIANS and upcoming country that's struggling in so many ways and the citizens are on diet of 001/011. I'm a fan of Governor Fash but I'll suggest he withdraw from this agenda and find another area to generate money for the state. I live in UK and you'll only pay licence if the Government know that you have TV, we are not well served with good programs and the TV station are of no standard with all the international tv station. We hear BREAKING NEWS about NIGERIA in London before people in Nigeria.....what a shambles TV stations and Journalism..... Sorry it's not worth paying for |
Fantastic phone, well done Samsung, flexible company unlike Apple that monopolies it's customers. Samsung All the way ![]() |
Mcdugull: Na white Man teach us that kind workUmmm....Wake up and stop BLAME GAME, face reality of life. New generation churches and Pastors are ADVANCE 419 taken advantage of vulnerable people and the same white people will expose all your DARK WORK. |
miketonic: i think JESUS christ is capable of leading nigerian to a new world. imagine, a man turn water to wine, and feed thousand of people with a piece of shrimp. with is power he can turn the corrupt to good doers and the ALuu community to saint. dont forget, he can walk on water, you tell me who among the politicians can walk on water? case closeMy dear friend wake up to face reality and stop calling Jesus all the time....typical Nigerian, our work Ethic is crap and ee keep calling Jesus...Heaven help those who help themselves. With the number of PASTORS AND GOC in Nigeria, I'm surprise we can't still find a credible leader...something is wrong with us. |
semid4lyfe: Seems only the OP is helping peeps out here.Good talk my broda from another mother, unfortunately NIGERIANS only get involve from where they'll get something and MAJORITY of us from our leaders down to our Religious leaders doesn't understand what it's called GIVEN BACK TO THE SYSTEM... I'll use this opportunity to appeal to any geek or computer guru out there to chip in their experience to help. Thanks. |
Good job Bro, where are you located pls ? |
It's obvious that Nigeria as a country lack good governors. Our leaders know the right thing but they refuse to do it.....Traveling is the best education any human being have, they've got houses and have the privilege of luxury but they refuse to learn from it. To me GREED is the cause of slavery and all our leaders ideas are signs of SECOND SLAVERY which drives majority of our professional a d youth out of the country . That's why smuggling will never stops because our leaders are behind it. |
ebamma: And So what? Can you read your comment again..... Complete ignorant you are. |
This is truely a way forward but I hope we can stick to it and not derail because every advance country have a strong Farming culture and it's the key to life. We have truely derailed from the right way of civilization, hopefully we can get back on track and start feeding ourselves rather than relying on others while we have the best resources. Eko ni baje Carry go Baba Fash. |
