IbrahimMav:Yeah it's a great example of dark humour. Not a masterpiece by any means but it has several humorous moments. The ending had me roaring. ![]() |
Very Bad Things (1998) IMDb synopsis°°° A group of friends head to Las Vegas for a bachelor party.. only things go wrong and a woman is killed. Soon, the bodies are piling up and the friends find themselves turning against one another as the coverup builds. • IMDb...6.3/10 • Rotten Tomatoes...41% • Amazon...4.5/5 • Metacritic...31% • Cinemascore...B on the scale of A to F • Google Users...79% Personal opinion: I really like how it escalates and keeps you expecting the next horror. There are plenty of twists and turns throughout, and the tension building is quite great. The evil of Slater's character really creeps in and he played it perfectly. I laughed a lot. Highly recommend. |
Message from the King (2017) IMDb Synopsis °°° After suddenly losing all contact with his younger sister, Jacob King arrives in Los Angeles determined to track her down. Trying to piece together her last known movements, King finds unsettling evidence of a life gone off the rails - drugs, sex and secrets in the sleazy underbelly of the City of Angels. Undeterred by warnings to go home, King proves to be more than a match for the violence he is confronted with as he relentlessly pursues the truth about what happened to his sister. • IMDb...6.4/10 • Rotten Tomatoes...45% • Metacritic...49% • Roger Ebert...3/5 • Google Users...82% Personal opinion: Chadwick makes for a charismatic lead, and seeing him smash his way through bad guys, armed with a bicycle chain is very satisfying. It's more than just a revenge thriller but a character study to booth. Chadwick impressed here, and it's pretty sad that we won't see his profound talent grace our screens in the future. R.I.P boss.

Now, this is a team up [Daredevil #599]. Toss in Punisher, Ghost Rider, & Shang-Chi, and it's a Shadowland reunion.

Kaycee7:You walked right into the violence all by your lonesome.
|
samistry:This ain't it, chief. To do an ensemble, creating a good group dynamic and zeroing in on like 2-3 of the group is essential. In other words, the story isn’t going to be about everyone in the group, it will be about like maybe 3 of them with everyone else being used to flesh out group dynamics, dialogue and cool powers. |
What If..? Episode 2. Another fantastic episode. Good Guy Thanos is everything. Comic relief Korath is rad. It's kind of nice that Boseman's last MCU performance was for something this positive and fun. Gonna miss you man.
