Sure forex is a business and far better than betting. Although some approach with a gambler mentality and are soon taught a lesson by the market.

First avoid over trading, if you see there's low volume and tight range. Please sit in out. There's no fun in losing money.

Analyze your candlestick and observe a trend.

Follow what works for you. For me, I enter a trade and endeavor to close the trade same day so I'm a day trader.

Discipline is key. Avoid revenge trades.

Theres no trader that has never lost money in forex but minimize your losses and maximize your profits and you'll end up profitable.

Experience is key. Gather experience as the years roll by.

I just remembered Ogbograph, dude would want to become a millionaire within a week and end up making huge pips only to lose them and soon receive margin.

I personally have had my own fair share of margin calls along the years.

Someone says that he lost 1.5m naira on Fxtm platform because of their huge spread and I want to state that he's speaking from the point of ignorance. Fxtm is one of the brokers that I use to trade the financial market. I also use hantecglobal, hotforex, rally trade, avatrade,etc.fxtm spread is large I agree especially in times of high volatility, if there's high impact news and market start to go ballistic like Russian atomic bomb but you can't loose money in the market bcoz of high spread. You will only loose money because of greed and undiscipline.greed and indiscipline is when you are using a lot size bigger than your acount size without stop loss as a risk control measure.trading without a stop loss is like jumping out of plane without a parachute. You will not loose your money because a broker spread is big. You will loose money in the financial market because you are greedy and have no regards to risks management.

These days its hard to tutor people on Forex and Trading from scratch, maybe that's even the reason why his friend doesn't want him on board...yet. Me personally I don't even do it, no matter how much you want to pay me, I just won't oblige. Get yourself grounded in the basics and then you can come to me. Even the ad I'm running now, I am doing it for Pros only. I don't have time to start teaching someone how to place trades, read chart pattern and candlestick formation, I no get dat kain time abeg.

There's no end to knowledge when it comes to trading, as a trader myself, I still get formulas and strategies from other traders that I believe theirs work more effectively than mine. Even the one I'm using presently isn't mine. So you have a good point when you said he still needs a mentor but since the mentor isn't cooperating nko, he has to take charge himself.

Why most people fail in forex is because they take everything they see forgetting that forex is against retail traders. To be a succesful trader you must understand the manipulations in the market and how to use it to your advantage.

OP, this is one of the best advice ever offered here. In as much as u can lose money fast with forex, you can also be transformed to a millionaire overnight when you u discover a good strategy. And you can only discover good strategies when you keep on searching.
When you discover the holy strategy, make sure to try it out on demo account. And if it works out, then go live. Good luck....

life can be funny bro.. I had friends who had admission late, some graduated @30, while some @25.... At 23, u still have hope of doing something for yourself... Urwriteup showed how brilliant u we're, and how intelligent u should be. There is nothing bad in living off ur parents as a student.

Try ur possible best to learn a skill, even if u hav to involve ur eldest brother, maybe he can be of help, they can only forgive a sin of such magnitude if dey realize u ar doing somtin for urslf!

I won't advice u work for small business DAT pays a merger salary, better u sacrifice dis time for the future, either online or offline, there are alot of skills u can learn!!

Books : I have read very nice books that I believed will and have positioned me for life.

2. Think and grow rich
3. Rich dad poor dad
4. The millionaire next door
5.The parable of dollars

I have been able to stop working for money rather to make money work for me. That I should not mind liabilities which removes money from my pocket but to focus more on assets which puts more money in my pocket.

I have been able to increase my investment by learning about the stock market.
I have three accounts now on Afrinvest, Meristem and Cowrywise.

Currently I own shares in Zenith bank, Fidelity and Dangcem ( I plan investing more in future)

I learned how to use Canva. Though I didn't do much.

Most importantly I learnt to save more, not only to save but to also invest and invest my gains too.

So far it has been so good. School should not open again. Our lecturers should just call us and ask us to swear that we understand all they have been teaching us.

I would like to go symmetrical to the point. But before I proceed, I will like to say sorry to whom it may concern. Yes people I did it, I went through her phone. I broke the rule and went against my instincts.

In fact, I'm writing this with pidgin so as to carry the street along. so I invite ma babe come house today, the babe too cool, silent and has this innocent look and all. As she enter house, the first thing wey she ask me be say make i go buy her pad... i swear i shock. i nearly fall sef, but as a "niggarrrr" i no tok, i just waka jeje go buy am come, i even buy fruits join sef as a beta pikin ... lol [ well, im not laughing shaa o] I later move go market buy catfish cook for her, just to make sure Jesus is happy with me, his son.

So later in the day, i went to play around with the boys as madam dey "flight mode" I came back around 9pm and met her sleeping. I waka go kitchen go take something, then i see her phone for there with 8 missed calls from the same number. As a retired agbero i sensed something was not right about the calls. So i jejely and smoothly snicked back to the room and placed her finger on her phone sensor to open it. After unlocking the phone i went straight to the rest room to settle my curiosity. omo, as i open whatsapp, enter the caller name chat, naso i collapse.......... athink say na only that one, as i enter others naso i paralyze. what i saw was UNBELIEVABLE and beyond my mental absorption. The one wey one paddy dey complain give am say she no sabi suck preeq na im wound me. I lost my breath for a moment and nearly went to join my ancestors.

Please help me. This is 3am and I'm still in deep pains. I can't seem to walk, my sight is going blurry too and i don't know what to do about her hereafter

Please how do I get my legs working again so I can at least walk back to the room and sleep first??
