Nickybayo, you should be a magician. You're good with msdirection. And here I was thinking naija M&B and you had to go murder the Hot bastard. Jeez, where's that bloodthirsty Princesa?

I dey naija. How do you figure sorting out the problem. Seems like an impasse to me. Anyways, Naruto's good. Like most anime but you just have to endure the beginnings so youcan get attached to the characters. And also, you've gotta have a fair balance between ur adult mind and ur kiddy one. Where are you now?
TV/Movies › Re: Does Anyone miss NTA Of The 80's? by vescucci(m): 2:20pm On Mar 31, 2009
The present will become the oldies and you'd think back and say, the good old days. It's human nature. I have absolutely zero memories of the 80's.

I'm heeding someone's advice and won't talk too much.

But I wonder if Ariblaze gave some of his ranting elixir to Kay9 (Or Kay9 stole a sip). The guy is beating you at your own game.

@Tgirl, I think a real woman would be all of the second category and a little of the first. Don't want a docile, complacent woman either.

Where's our homeboy? Tgirl, you no go support your man? You're just looking on while he's getting mauled. Chamo, let loose. That's what this thread is about. We let loose. Not me though, I just laugh at people letting loose.

Chai, I don talk too much.

Marley and Me is one of those movies you go to the bathroom and shower and come back and be sure you'll catch on in the next 2 minutes. It's a feel good film. I must say, I don't think Aniston is a good actress by any stretch of the imagination but she was in her zone with the film and surpassed my expectations.

Karma, you remind of a movie reviewer who's so blunt it makes you shudder. But you can be trusted to say the truth.

Why are y'all talking about Shia like he's a new sensation. He's the bomb. But we already know that. Nobody doesn't like Shia. I liked him before seeing him. Just love the name. Like D'Caprio's.

Will be looking for Doubt now

I have Defiance but couldn't get past 20 minutes. maybe I'll be a lil more patient

And iice, you should listen and watch Moulin Rouge. It's not like Chicago and you can't help but get lost in the movie. It literally carries you away.

The testosterone in the air is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Chamotex, come back and get bloodied o. Don't let your woman think you're a wuss.

THis should be fun, whaddaya say, Kay9 we watch with cold mugs of the old ale?

Literature › Re: My Book Of Rants! by vescucci(m): 4:32pm On Mar 28, 2009
This is gonna come out all disjointedly cuz that's exactly how I feel today.

Life's a game. But football is very serious.

Nigerians are so doggone religious, even armed robbers pay tithe.

I dreamt that me and Iniesta were room mates and someone stole his money (Leslie, another friend of mine) and kasala burst. And I'm not even a Barca fan.

I was expecting one wiseass to say one wiseass thing. You and dust mites make me allergic but ridiculously tiny. It's going to waste now. Humphh

I play Football manager am addicted to Football manager. Joel Lynch, Paul heckingbottom and Daniel Drinkwater are among some stupid names I've come across.

* Joel, Lynch's pop musta been a member of the KKK

* Paul heckingbottom didn't cry (and thus breathe) so the doctor yelled, "heck, slap its bottom" to the rookie nurse. Thus a name was born along with the baby

* Baba Daniel, needed to drink water because Daniel was one out of a set of triplets.

Many smartasses will point out that these names are last names. Go ahead. Break a leg, Einstein(s)

To end this stark raving mad rant, I'll relay what my new and cool conscience is saying, "Don't be saying shit that don't make no sense boy!"
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 3:45pm On Mar 28, 2009
Yo, Ice_Zik. You better tell me you liked Watchmen cuz you're like the Marketing manager for that film and franchise.

Congratulations spelling the whole 8 letters of my name right. People tend to pay little attention to it. U be correct dude, dinozzo

I got so angry it was funny in the end. I came here thinking of nice ways to tell Tgirl to call me Vesc instead, then I saw Kay9's post which cooled me off until I read Kay9; "and you might wanna use 'Vecs'" and got pissed off again. Vecs is definitely better than Vescussi. Too many s's give me wrong ideas. Vecs! cry cry
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 7:54pm On Mar 27, 2009
Whoa. While readig dinozzo's post where he quoted iice. My brain forgot it was a quote and read the subsequent lines believing it was still iice, until dinozzo wrote; actresses I admire, Angelina and Biel. Biel? Seriously? Beautiful actress sure. But certainly unproven if you ask me. I know that would be unlike iice to admire the beauts, hehehe.

@Spike, I wish I'd see Aries' imitation. I wonder about that guy. Is it all talent or talent and plenty hardwork? He's unbelievable.
Literature › Re: My Book Of Rants! by vescucci(m): 2:04pm On Mar 26, 2009
Hehe, y'all. Kay9, you're right too. Let him stick his tongue in a socket. It 'invigorates' you. Gives you a brand new zest for life. If you don't pass on after your brief coma that is. As per ranting, inasmuch as you guys keeping egging me on, rants aren't things that come naturally to me. I seldom lose my cool enough, unlike, hehehe

I'm sorry Blaze, but I just blazed thru your rant and didn't really pick much more than "I need a bike, bwuahahaha!". Eyah, good luck, dude. Don't get injured if you don't plan on croaking. What's life when you can't enjoy the things you love, yes?

If I had wanted to rant by force, this is what would come out;

He had hurt her here
He had hit her head hard
Her head heavy in his hands
How he hated her happiness.
Peons. Three hankies.

How's that? And the lat line is just to introduce some consternation. I'd have left it but the stupid new conscience I've got sent down is working overtime. Time to get the glock out, I guess. Oh, Mr. Conscience,

And on the unrelated matter of love in the air. Methinks it stinks
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 1:40pm On Mar 26, 2009
Really, Max? There are funny films but very few funny people like Rob Schneider (who's funny if he just sat on a bench watching the sun set), Danny Devito (where's this guy anyways?), Bruce Willis. THose are the real funny people.
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 1:34pm On Mar 26, 2009
Hey, man. Not really into Katt Williams. But, then, I'm not really into most of these 'funny people'. As I said somewhere, I hate in-your-face comedy. Most times.

Unfortunately, I only got to see what I was missing as per oldies. Never had the resources to download anything from mininova as you suggested. Don't have steady connection in any concievable way. The Marvel/DC skits were awesome while it held my interesat which waned after a while. But you do a great job in pointing a dude in the right direction. I'm just too busy nowadays. Can't laze around like before. Only thing I'm doing now is watching Naruto from the beginning to the end. almost 300 episodes. I'm almost finished!

Holla back!
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 6:25pm On Mar 24, 2009
You make me feel like I'm Katt Williams or something. Happy to bring a lil sunshine to your life though.
Literature › Re: My Book Of Rants! by vescucci(m): 5:58pm On Mar 24, 2009
Mr. Blaze. You're the one who's missing out on all these things. Why do you assume we're too. Last time I drank/ate garri, 2 hours ago. Epa, yesterday, KK, been a while but can't be more than two weeks, roast fish, well, fish na fish, two hours ago.

And about your bike. Go get a loan. Banks would do anything to have u indebted to them.
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 5:28pm On Mar 24, 2009
@Tpia. I still don't think Stiller is funny. He's good at making other people funny. It's like in knock knock jokes. Someone's gotta say 'who's there'. That's Stiller, saying "who's there". And he does it so well. And, uh, Tpia. You've been where? I remember seeing you around more often before. Is it that we don't visit the same threads or you've been AWOL.

@Max, haba, I'm not that much of a grouch. It's just that I hate in-ur-face comedy. I like to think I'm smart enough to get jokes that require reading between the lines. Occasionally I enjoy utterly stupid films like, Don't Mess with the Zohan, Scary Movie and their likes grin
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 5:12pm On Mar 24, 2009
Unbelievably echoed my thoughts. And some. I especially like the comparison with the Grammys rewarding system. Cara, weren't you complaining about Coldplay the other time? Hehe, it's all politics jare. I wish they'd incoporate people's choice awards or something where people can do their own ratings rather than those pompous smug 'deep' peeps at the academy.

Awww, Blue. U didn't think I'd let u off the hook that easy, did you. You're probably right. Unreturned love is punishment enough for u. Hehe. I think I'm enjoying this naughty spree, must be something I ate. Like fermented Tofu, hmmmn. Tofu,

Ecomog. Inasmuch as I'm usually a painfully polite bugger, I really think you should take this and shove it. You think cuz we're getting gritty means we're foul? B.T.W. aren't you supposed to be keeping the peace somewhere? And FYI, there's a section called romance. There are threads that deals with Hot people. There's even a woman called Sistawoman that can help you if you need to polish your rocket.

I've changed, I've changed, It isn't the same. la la ala

Oh, I forgot to add that I got nothing less than respect for you, Kay wink
If you'll have me, we could give those anti-same-sex marriages a run for their money wink

Amazyn, you'll do well not to reply. These guys will devour you. They will massacre you. They'll have you for a midnight snack. And I'm not even being sarcastic

I'm thinking we should vote for ranter of the week every week.

Kudos to Ariblaze for reading thru me. I'm a cold sumbitch. Can't be affected. Nice try Kay9. I had a jolly good laugh especially after the second one. Haven't had a worthy opponent since Ex-Inferis decided I was too boring. Unfortunately I'm not very good at bland uncreative gutter language. The best I can manage is to be caustic. Now I'm thinking, how does one piss off a pea brain? Tough question. Here are some options.

A. Become a pea brain

B. Break pea brain's toy

C. Refuse to acknowledge pea brain

D. Dust pea brain's rant off my shoulder

E. Really and honestly enjoy pea brain's rant

I'm leaning towards E. B would have been the most effective but I'm certainly not a petty guy.

Kay9 I enjoy it when u're not trying to rant and are just spilling like an uzi with limitless rounds. But that PH thingie belongs in some Hints magaziine column. BTW, where's that ur addy sef?

Blue. Where's ur bulletproof vest? Why do u raise the white flag after just getting hit once?

Aribaba, don't have anything to say to u, but since I'm calling everyone's name,

Tgirl knows how I feel about her

Epi, radioactive epi with small half-life. You know too.

Ok. On to being smug as a bug in a rug.

Transporter 3. I've ignored that fil since and I know trailers show the best parts of a movie but I admit I'm a lil curious. What's y'all think?

Spikyn, come back here and tell me what you thought of the oscars. Fair? Ridicuous? usual? Whatever?

Maybe I'm being a lil uptight. That Kirk guy was hilarious without even trying. I applaude R. D. Jr's ability. It shone through. Ben Stiller was being his usual "unfunny ass who can make Hitler hilarious in comparison"

Heel, girl. Bluespice spitting and bussing. Worth seeing. I'd have paid good cheese to see that. I'm sure Kay is a dumb numb lump by now. Dude, nice going awakening the beast. When you find your voice come back and applaude the mistress. I'm sure Ariblaze is soaking it all up. Print a copy and take it home dude.

I will.

Tropic Thunder was stupid. Ridiculous. Directed by Ben Stiller. I mean wtf?! But I liked it somehow. Especially Tom Cruise who I didn't discern until he did that half smile thingie that's so characteristic of him. I was like (to my bro) "dude! that guy looked like Tom Cruise just now. Wait a minute, By God, it's Tom Cruise" Only then did I remember that peeps said he was in the movie.
