What's with you Sisikill? You got ultra MPD? For a moment there I thought Seun had mercy on you but then I noticed the three Ls.

This thread is turning into a very interesting baby. Kudos to Kay9 and Sauron. I've never seen Kay9 so worked up about anything before. Usually his posts are like rain in the desert. This goes to show you how much he loves his Bourne. I don't drink but I'd be tempted to grab a pint with you now, fella.

To the rest of the Bond click, try to be objective. Even I have accepted Arsenal won't win anything in my life time.

Na wa o. You're enslaved by this woman? Chei! That explains all this sunshine-loving of you man. Ditch the girl and become normal, abeg. This tree-hugger thingie doesn't fit you.

Tgirl. Relax a lil. It's nothing like from "The rule of Four" or "Da Vinci Code"

Jeez, Joaquin looks like Captain Caveman! But I love his composure from the quotes. I really hope he sucks at this and goes back to what he has a natural talent for.

Haba. You guys should be nicer. Lady kool will never come to nairaland again.

A word of advice, if I may sir. Don't hitch the chic that's got your heart in a freezer. For one thing, she'd never give it back. For another, you fellas will prolly kill each other2. Women hate wiseasses except they are being wiseassesto peolple they don't like, e.g. the chic next door. What am I saying?

NB: Busybodies often relay accurate info. And smitten people temporise and prevaricate butnever outrightly deny anything lest their love interest should catch them and 2 above ensues.

Why are y'all ticking Val Kilmer off so. He's (was) not a bad actor. He's depreciated terribly (not really, just stopped doing movies) but at least he had the decency to up and get off the radar. After Willow, I can't ever hate the dude.

I heard Val's going into politics. I think that of New Mexico's. I'm not sure though.

Touche. I've actually thought of this but was hoping no one else would make the connection. But! That doesn't mean I concede anything. That's just one point for the opposition. At least we're fair in our camp. Bourne still rules.

This is most unlike you Ariblaze. All this flowery pink happy-go-lucky hopeful words. If I didn't know better I'd say you's about to get a baby. Nah! You probably have got too much balls and guts for that. Haha. People miss you if you they could. You're just too hard to miss. Like the sky? Who misses the sky?

I played FM o7 and 08 extensively. AS in my gametimes reached months. I played well into 2024. But when the player generator's created players tired me out, I quit. I don't know if I'll be checking 09 out cuz then I won't do anything else with my life. And believe me, my life needs a lotta up and doing.

What's going on in the animations category. I've not seen any of the touted movies but I'm gunning for Wall-E. Bolt sounds good too. I wonder if this is not up you fella's alley. Maybe I should go looking for Spikyn.
Islam › Re: Barka Juma'ah by vescucci(m): 3:57pm On Jan 30, 2009
I usually don't post anything in the reliion section. A lot of ignorant muslims and christians and atheists and people I just don't know what camps they're a part of come here and spew hate and animosity all over the place. I steer clear thus. I hope you keep this place serene, Mukina, or else I'd be gone as abruptly as I came. Good job, Muki B.t.w.
Hey Jarus. We met like six years ago but I'm sure your memory's swiped. My cousin Toyin introduced us. We used to come pray in your home sometimes. Your relative (I don't remember how he was related to you) Yinka was in the same Faculty I was then. Anyways, I hope you're good.

@Topic. Jumu'at has never been quite the same for me since I left school. It's supposed to be elaborately prepared for i.e. dress your best, wear perfume, arrive before the imam e.t.c. Nowadays I'm just caught up in a rooling stone kinada life. Maybe one day. What I don't like is people praying as far away from the Mosque as possible and not paying attention to arrangements. Thereby a lot of traffic congestions ensues. I trust everybody had a good Jumu'at.

Salam

And Bob Marley sang; you can fool some people sometimes but you can't fool all the people all the time, or something like that. If Karma were on Bond people's side, she'd be "short three" i.e. she'd discredit all y'all plus one extra in case Doyin13 comes back. Karma hates Bond so much she doesn't even need to like Bourne (which she does).

ANd Max, I almost forgot. I'd love to take up your offer. It'd be nice to see ur stuff in print for a change. I'll work pro bono too (though I have a feeling that was the unsaid implication undecided) Anyhoo, I work better with direction so your friend'll have to ask for pieces on whatever he wants pieces on. Else I'd just run with it and use up twice my quota. And I hate to be edited. Moreso at length. Cheerios!

Trust Karma to say it as it is!

I guess we'll see when we see. The oscars I mean. I don't like homosexuality myself but I also think it's your business what your business is. Anyhoo, lovely movies about gay people should be enjoyed objectively.

Aww. And I kinda like 4400's theme song even though I hate sweet but senseless lyrics. It's not that bad now, caustic and cynical Maxie, you!
Literature › Re: My Book Of Rants! by vescucci(m): 3:24pm On Jan 29, 2009
Hmmmmmmn is a very pregnant sound of contemplation.

Blue. Love the writs but the writer. I wrote a stupid poem when I was like 12 about hating good things and loving bad things and loving to be hated cuz I hated to be loved. It became a very mind boggling frill as I stared at my mind's spill and wondered how without my apparent will my quill spent so much ink, gill upon gill, and how my scroll I fill in the manner of a steady rill emptying into a still lake, or like wheat from a little but sturdy mill, and I concluded my ill mind just runs with stuff every lil chance it feels Blue and Co. have sent a chill down my spine with high voltage prods.

Hehe. Very stupid but I think it's stupid in a funny way.

Usually I say what I mean. Miss Blue and Tgirl and Blaze baba (scratch that) and Sisi and the rest of y'all. Wish I could come around more often.
TV/Movies › Re: Bond Vs Bourne by vescucci(m): 2:28pm On Jan 29, 2009
@Max. I concede Craig is a better agent (probably the most realistic Bond ever) but he's somewhat a deviant for what Bond represents, i.e. Moving Skirt radar etc. Seeing that there's been only one Bourne and there'll probably be no more Bourne movies, za zifference is clear, mi lady. And that bit about Bond not knowing Bourne. That only stands to reason cuz Bourne represents his profile as a SPY and doesn't go about introducing himself. I mean what kinda spy'd that make him if the whole civilised and probably the uncivilised world knew of him and the latest hotel he lodged in and how many martini's he had and whether or not he ate his olive. You get the overall picture.

May I suggest you Bond people read GM Ludlum's trilogy for a better perspective.

For vanity sake, I'll permit myself this little pleasure and do a roll call. Kay9, Spike (Yikes) and hopefully Karma (double yikes!) in one corner. Sisi and Maxie in another corner. Statistics people. Oh, and don't forget to add lil ol me in the winning corner. Hehe grin

Faru, me ya faru? Haba!

Gamine, I have a feeling you're enjoying tormenting this fella. You sneak up in and read his posts and giggle and wait for the next, whatever those are. Anyway, I rather enjoy them lines too.

While Friends seems to be the stuff on the table I might as well contribute. Friends used to be my favorite stuff on TV after Star Trek: Voyager and Pokemon. Those were the days. A long time ago though, Tv has since gotten so good, almost as good as the movies. Anyhoo, I like Ross and Chandler cuz I'm like parts of them. A little geeky and a little don't really care about anything. That's moi. Phoebe is like the one I'd like to spend the rest of my life with. I'd only wish she'd not cheat and say it's the natural thing to do. Monica and Rachel are just there to make you appreciate the rest of the gang. You know, how you need someone to say something first so you can issue a witty retort? And Joey. Joey is simply a sweetheart. Adorable, stupid, innocent sweetheart. He's Italian helps too. Oh, and I just loooooove the theme song. Like that of Scrubs next.
