Haba, Gamine. I think you got your dates mixed up. Besides how could I help in deciding when my old man wanted to knock my mama up, huh? @cara, I don't get what senile messages you talk of? What's up? |
Hey Max. I missed you tres more! @Karma. I loved Lost too. I watched it up till the third season. What pisses me off are the annoying dead ends. All the unanswered questions. That's mainly what drove me on. But did I get answers? Noooooo! There was a time I thought that Island was like Purgatory where god was just fooling around. You can't escape but notice the whole predestined effects mingled with science. It's all so mind boggling. If I pick up Season 4 and the introduce a 90 yr old Hitler in his cave hideout, I'll go berserk. Whew! So, what're you guys talking about? Really. |
Y'all are still at I see. I can't wait for Bulldozer Karma to be fully on my side. As it is, she just hates Bond. I want her to love Bourne. And those who go on about how Bond saves the world. The question was never who was more valuable to the world. It was Bond vs. Bourne. Doesn't it just piss you off when MI:5's top agent goes around saying; "The name's Bond, James Bond" It proves he doesn't ever have worthy adversaries. Jason Bourne would never do that cuz he could be dead as a result. I mean it's like walking up to a desk in a hotel and saying, "My name's Jason Bourne. Are the cross-hairs on me now?" As Spike would say, Shior! |
Reality The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Best Picture Sean Penn - Best Actor Angelina Jolie - Best Actress Heath Ledger - Best Supporting Actor Taraji P. I'm gonna love this year's academy. I wish TDK made the list for Best film and Robert Downing Jr. didn't mke the list for supporting actor. I mean, what the $#@&! |
Snakemaru seems to be the strongest to me. Plus sickest too. |
@iice, I've not heard of Ryan Phillippe since forever. And about the Watchmen saga. I could care less who came on top. I like Newline best and maybe Miramax for their minimalist approachs. As long as Watchmen comes out, I'm good. What's up, cara? @Ex, How's it going down there? You keeping the world misfits down below. Don't get pissed o. You know it'll be bad for the rest of us. Hehehe. Bu tseriously, how've you been? We miss you down here. At least I do. @Asada, G.I.Joe is already a household name like tin soldier. G.I.Jane was a caricature of sorts in the first place. So, there's a, you know what? Forget it! Hiya Gamine! I'll soon do what I do when I'm in a romantic mood. |
You make an art of this ranting, don't you now? What's up, house? I'll be back! |
Karma, please watch those films and put this debate to rest. It hurts to disagree with Sisi and Max. I'm gonna have a coronary! |
Aww G, that's not fair! Welcome back I've been irregular myself cuz of some stuff I'm into. @iice. I'm really pissed with the whole touchy legal hullabaloo. It's frustrating. Why can't they pick another film to fight about? Well, we'll just pass time with other movies for now. Sigh! |
@Poster. My personal favorite anime of all time is Rurouni Kenshin. Absolutely fabulous! Others among your list worth watching are Naruto, Bleach (Don't like the story but there's action in it) and Gungrave. I haven't personally sampled Gungrave but someone told me it's nice. The rest in your list have me clueless. One not in your list though is Dragonaut. I like this one very very much (and not only cuz of the big boobies). If you can choose not to be too cynical, you'll like Murder Princess. Good luck @Samir. I didn't even know there was an anime section. I'll check it out presently. |
S'up Max and da crew. I guess Gamine couldn't get all the way through her detox program. Tut tut tut. Too bad. You can't escape the feeling. |
Look what the Santa dragged in! |
Haba! I came here full of venom and couldn't find anybody to spit it at. When Sisi says up, just hear down. You'll get used to it. |
@Karma. I remember now that it was Doug something that directed the first Bourne installment and Paul Greengrass that did the other two. They're still gritty as hell though. Plus the big man himself, Robert Ludlum co-produced the first. He's died since. |
On behalf of Sisi, Touche! I think it's like this. Girls like Bond. Guys (who can't be like Bond) like Bourne. Am I right or am I right? |
Sisi!!!!! @Karma. You probably should just watch them serially as they're not unconnected. And Bourne Ultimatum is the end of the series as it should be. If you like Damon, you'll love Damon after this. Plus I think Nolan directed the first one, Greengrass the second and I forget who did the third. |
I like #13 best. |
Hiya Max! |
Oh I see, Ice_Zik. These 'soldiers' are like some elite killer moda******s. I like that Snakes eyes dude/dudess best. Obviously, you do too. |
C'mon, Wall-E is up there! Don't let Spikyn catch you not knowing about Wall-E! |
Did I mention I missed you Blue? |
Happy birthday, Blaze! |
Spamming just went up a notch. |
I like the look of these movies except Star trek. But iice once told me it's a J. J. Abrams project. So, maybe I should give it a chance. All movies nowadays tend to superheroes or superpowers. Na wa o. G. I. Joe now looks like Spawn? |
I'm gonna make this simple, Bourne. |
Hilarious stuff |
Alrighty then. Kiss and make up. Now doyin's got me perked up about this The Wire. |
Now I get the deception in question 2. Nice diversion. Appeal to my intellectual vanity and have me on a platter. Icarus wasn't a god apparently. I thought he was cuz the only thing I knew of him was he flew too close to the sun, bla bla bla. I guess I'm making excuses. I failed woefully, oooooo. Kay9, your turn! |
I obviously haven't seen The Wire. But if it's like The Shield, I think I understand the gritty down-to-earth feeling Doyin gets watching it. Please y'all, don't resort to name-calling. One man's meat is another's, meat. how can meat not be meat? Just don't fight, pleeeeeeeeeeease? |
