Funny I never encountered this thread. I just loooove Naruto. I've run out of Shippuden episodes. Stopped at 90 or so. I'm seriously detoxing badly. I've got the mangas but I don't really like Manga. I'm starting on another called Samurai Champloo. Looks good. Bleach is totally and utterly ridiculous btw.

Brand new topic. People rarely say Tinsel town nowadays. Nice!
Max. What friend do u speak of, huh? Or wings?

I knew iice wouldn't like Dogville when she found it was a play.

Meanwhile, I saw Cadillac Records. It was a good film with accurate story telling. I was particularly impressed with Beyonce who hitherto I thought grossly incapable. Not that she's great, it's a case of the role fitting her than she fitting the role. Adrien, talented!

Maybe you should make yourself the subject of one of your poems and get back to us. We'll take your word for it. Honest

When I first encountered Don Cheadle, I thought he was an African. Or like someone uprooted from the series Roots and planted in the late 20th century. He's a talented actor and much overlooked. I just hope 30 years down the road, those supposedly deep people at the academy don't give him a 'gba, maa binu' life time achievement award. Pardon the vernacular :-)

@Blaze. You know how to tune me, I give u that. But she tunes me several revs in the other direction. I like the name though. I've always preferred more control and less power than the other way round.

@Kay9. tut tut tut. Sounds like ur life sucks dude. At least you can look ur old man in the face and 'Hey, pops, wetin Chelsea play'. And giving advice, you. Go fall in love while you're at it.

What's up Tgirl, Blue, Sisi and Sino.

Almost forgot why I came on. I saw Valkyrie and TDTESS. I like Cruise a whole lot more now. It reminded me of the book The Schindler's Ark. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Great work. TDTESS no the other hand was well made but there were a lot of unanswered questions. I particularly wanted to know whose planet the earth was. I certainly like the way we were supposed to be wiped out. Keanu fit the role, I no go lie. No one can play drone like him.

@Max. I'm fine now. :-) My halo has resumed hovering over my head.

I couldn't help but pick up the conversation about Quills. I'm not sure but is it this film where some sick dude who makes everyone else seem a prude in comparison write on a wall in a cell with his own blood amidst an atmosphere of unsavory copulation. I don't remember more than that. Is it the same?

Jesoul's list has some typos but Bourne Identity makes them up.

@Tgirl, I didn't mean to be insensitive to his amorous feelings towards his bike. But the dude deserves some yabbing for not showing up since

Tgirl! People are complaining that they don't know what the eff I'm saying and you say I'm beginning to make sense. That was the point of the writ. Different vantage points.

Sino, you saying you're in love with your lecturer? :-)

@Kay9, tread softly. Humph. Some strings can be healthy. Keep you from floating away

Oga seems to have copied himself a memo.
Or got his babe, sorry bike.

You're totally missing the point, you big ugly angry and very green beast. It wasn't supposed to be abstract, if anything, it was over detailed. Oga Blaze, did I miss the memo that says we're all on compulsory leave? Where's everybody?

My love interest is no one you know. So kill your curiousity before it gets you killed. But love does suck, c'est nes pas?

@Max. I feel like breaking some china from ur kitchen. Go see the Dracula film with OLDMAN and co. And hey, guess who played van Helsing in d film. My main man. The other main man. Memento isn't an oriental but it's great. Truly memorable. You can't be disturbed watching it. Be advised. Since you like good orientals like I do, be sure to watch The Banquet, if you haven't already. Exquisite ending. Plus House of flyin daggers. That goes 4 everyone

@Spiked. I meant to show surprise at the feat of reading all of the 26 pages of this thread, and not your flunking 13th warrior. And nothing's up, dear :-)

I forget who it was who tried to escape the inescapable Pan's labyrinth. You should give in. While it's still ur choosing

Mr. Jude. Being the cynical bastard that I am, I'm wondering how long it'll take to get to the part where we (the helpless imbeciles prone to your ego massaging) are supposed to send some money to some account. To, you know, grease the wheels

I'm using a phone to surf here. Forgive its limits. So the necklace/pendant with no owner makes you sorrowful. Why? Or the pregnant winds itching to put voice to what they've witnessed?

Why can't it just be a bloody sword in the bleeding earth with a sodding pendant on it, in the frigging wind?

There's deep and there's deep. If you dig deep enough, you'll always find bullshit.

In the scene, there's a katana sword thrusted halfway into the earth. Hanging atop the sword is a necklace with a locket. The clouds look parched and dusty. There's a small wind shaking loose some earth around the sword and it is now inclined as a result. After three hours the sword falls over and the locket with it.

Ah, I got carried away. Anyway, that sorta thing makes you wanna cry. But why? A bleeding sword with no wielder?

Wow. In naija rant must burst forth. I've been busy falling in love so I've kinda lost my gritty edge. Y'all will do yourselves favours by not guessing. Anyhoo, I've been thinking about perception, conception, and what is. Their differences. What would one call a 'real' experience as opposed to what one thinks one experienced. Take for example, you're sitting in a room minding your own business and you look up to the tv to see a scene.
