On the contrary, i think Dbanj singing in Igbo in his igwe track and Igbo guys singing in Yoruba is doing more of keeping Nigeria united than divided

Of course yoruba has more appeal. That is why an act like King Sunny Ade will play in any Igbo,Yoruba or Hausa event.

And another thing you will rarely hear is a Yoruba Artiste singing in Igbo. .You will rarely hear 9ice sing in Igbo. Hwever Dbanj did sing in Igbo in his iigwe Track and it was nice but Singing in Yoruba has a Broader and Better Appeal than Igbo or any other Nigerian Language and You have to go with the winning formula to be successful

Just Imagine singing GONGO ASO or Yahoozee in Igbo or any other naija Language.Even MI's Anoti track had yoruba in it and it had nice appeal.

The term Yoruba is a relatively new invention of the Eighteenth century. so what does that tell you? Identities change over time.  People should appreciate the diversity in Nigeria rather than trying to create an homogenous entity.  Claiming to be blind to ethnicity won't work.  As for me, the Individual comes first considering there are intra-ethnic rivalries in the groups Nigerians claim to to be loyal to.

I know my roots lie in the Oduduwa Lineage or whatever yoruba was called then. My roots don't lie in a Design/Project made by Lord Luggard and his cohorts in 1914. I am not saying Nigeria is not a good idea and my girl friend is a pretty ibo girl and my best mate is Hausa so i dont see myself better nor tribalistic. And just like u said, the individual comes first so i believe that is a Bottom Up Approach which i believe is the best approach and will subsequently put Tribe before country
