In as much as i want UTI to win. I think its now time for us (Nigerians ) to but somethings into view. Firstly, we must we participate in programs organized by South Africa? cant we organize ours? Is Nigeria not able to but up good reality shows that can be aired on our local stations or on HITV? This people are really taking us for a long ride and we are  so gullible  to follow their lead. Example, Ofuneka to me ought to have won the BBA 2, Dare should have won project fame. How many Nigerians have won stuffs from DSTV, and we patronize them the most? If UTI is sent out of the house, i advocate that all Nigerians should forthwith stop watching BB and look forward to organizing our own reality show.
NYSCRe: How Relevant Is National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) In This Dispensation? by vicero(m): 9:57am On Sep 22, 2008
Once again @poster, you really think deep. NYSC as far as i am concerned is a wastage of precious time. Its just a way for the Goverment to exploit the youths and steal money again, because upon all the money they claim they budget for the program, how much of it is really spent on the right course. It should be scraped. Kicked out of the system. In fact all youths should kick against it and rebel against this scam called a scheme pls.

PoliticsRe: Imagine This Kind Of Nigeria by vicero(m): 9:37am On Sep 22, 2008
This is very possible, but it starts with individuals before we can talk of the nation as a whole. Every Nigerian first has to change their way of thinking. The SIT DOWN AND LOOK attitude has to stop and all hands must be on deck. DIGNITY of labour (taking pride in whatever you do) has to be cultivated by all. We all have to become realistic and accept facts. Get rich quick syndrome has to end. Then we can all start pressurizing the Government to provide basic amenities. It's as easy as that and then Most importantly, allow GOD lead us and give HIM the rightful place in our hearts. So ladies and Gentlemen, This is not a dream but a reality, if we can but believe it. Have yourselves a wonderful week ahead.

Christianity EtcRe: Questions For Christains by vicero(m): 8:42am On Sep 19, 2008
Who am i to judge you guys? Besides, everyone is entitled to his/her own belief. But i want you guys to take a moment and see clearly. Those laws that were quoted, where in the old testament. The Israelite s were a stubborn people. There had to be law in order to keep the peace, so that what happened during Noah's time wouldn't happen again. They were living in the period of THE LAW, but after Jesus came down to die for mankind, we started living in the period of grace. God is not man, HIS ways are different from ours, we can not rationalize or understand HIM through human carnality.
Ok, lets say you are right, there is no GOD, how do you explain the perfect positioning of the earth in the cosmic space to support life? Could it be chance that every time an asteroid is approaching earth something mysterious happens? Look back into the book of Daniel and Revelation, and see if all the prophecies there are not coming to pass quickly. I mean, what other proof do you need to see the light. Its because Christianity is a peaceful religion, where we know we cant fight for our God, that's why it's been attacked like this. As for those who profess to be Christians or Born again, Christianity is not a religion, its a lifestyle. You are trying to be like the master not eve by your power but by His spirit. I pray that it would not be too late for any of us to see the light. May God continue to have mercy on us all. But still, i fear for this generation.

Be careful what you say, God's grace and love for man should not be for granted. Do not test HIS patience, BLASPHEMY, Who are we to questions HIS supremacy.
PoliticsRe: SSS Invades Channels Tv by vicero(m): 6:26pm On Sep 18, 2008
Guys, this is not a matter of dictatorship. How can a station in the nation announce that the president 'has resigned'? This is not a matter of military rule. Do we know the effect of such a statement? It could cause civil unrest, and only God knows what other things could follow, besides, politicians? we can never say who might be behind such statement. It's a case of national security, you can't just go about and say rubbish without proper facts.
One Nigeria.

hey guys,, if Moses will not go to the mountain, the mountain will come to him. See, if we say we are going to keep waiting for PHCN to get steady constant power supply in this country, i think we may just be wasting our time. Why can't all the young engrs in schools and out of school, come together and set a goal to build practical and affordable solar panels that could be used for household electricity supply? Its my dream and i need people who are committed and dedicated, you do not necessarily have to have the tech no how, just the desire and then we can set a plan in motion. best of luck to u all.
ProgrammingRe: Join A Software Army? by vicero(m): 8:52am On Sep 10, 2008
The other dude that spoke about open source, really understands what the computing world is all about. Firstly, as Blacks not just that but Nigerians, what makes u guys think u can bring Bill gates or MS down? secondly, we are not a destructive set of people, Nigerians love to create. So therefore, i suggest we use this forum to enlighten people on how wonderful Linux and Unix can be, create a user group in Nigeria and make our own OS for us to be used by us. Remember what ever 9ja goes for, the whole west Africa just has too take, That, my friends, i think is the only way to stop the monopoly of Mr Gates. Fight brain,with brain and not brain with brawl. grin

Death to Shell,
kill all of them,
end their rein in Nigeria
send them out,
they are from hell,
this is a way of looking down on the black man again,
Had it been any of the European countries, the UN would have sactioned them but now, its just some black, unimportant people.
see to hell with the whites,
let them leave us alone.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by vicero(m): 10:39am On Sep 02, 2008
cool cool cool cool cool Up gunners for life, i think all the so called arsenal haters are just arsenal lovers who do not have the guts to accept it or are just not qualified to be called Gunners. Arsenal is the youngest and most successful young team in Europe, yes we may have gone 4 seasons without a trophy, but am telling that even the mighty Man utd and Chelsea are scared to their teeth each time they meet Young arsenal. Besides, we are record breakers, first English team to beat almighty AC in san siro, what else can we say. If u reds and blues are so interest in your clubs why not set up Ur own thread and leave us alone, Up Arsenal for life, watch out this season,

@poster,
good post, good observation, but first, let's believe Nigeria is not dead, the bible says we should pray for our Jerusalem and the power of life and death lies in the tongue, therefore, i say Nigeria is not dead, we are only passing through our own wilderness, but its time to get out from there, rise shine and declare Gods glory to the world. So Poster, whats your suggestion or the road map to this new rebirth, because we truly need a rebirth and it's in the hands of the present generation which our generation to make that change. please enlighten us, i am seriously intrested in been a part of the revolution of this country. Enough is Enough,
PoliticsRe: Teachers Get 27% Raise, Politicians Get 100% Na Wa Oh by vicero(m): 10:02am On Sep 02, 2008
See, this politicians are crooks, demons, i mean its so insensitive. I heard our senators collect close to 300k per meal everyday, when an average Nigerian doesn't even spend close to 2000 NGN on a three square meal daily, See i think this whole democracy thing is crap, whats the difference btwn them and military rulers, ? at least during military regime, we new who those taking all the money and we knew the policies in place, but now, ? God will deliver us o, I believe the only way we can deliver ourselves from this selfish, self centered people, is to put pressure on them to take a pay cut, or the whole nation shld go on strike demanding a general increase of close to 60% for everyone, yes cripple the economy, so they know that without the masses, they can not see such money they are spending anyhow without working for.
Nairaland GeneralIntegrity by vicero(op): 10:53am On Sep 01, 2008
Integrity, can people take you for your word, Does your answer to issues stand the test of time? Integrity, takes time to build but can be destroyed in a few seconds with just a few spoken words. Many a times, we feel the little lies we tell have no real impact, little do we know that those so called little lies or deceptions could cause a little havoc. The thing with lies telling is, once you tell a single lie, you definitely have to find another to cover up with. Please lets stop this unnecessary habit and be truthful as much as we can always. No one can kill you for saying the truth, it may hurt but you would have peace of mind and be respected for your words. Most of all God will be pleased with you as you taking after Him as a son. Tell the truth today, and earn trust and respect tomorrow.

EducationRe: Nigerians And Spelling Errors! It Keeps Getting Worse! by vicero(m): 10:04am On Sep 01, 2008
Guys, mae una calm down. Poster, don't feel bad, but at the same time, when next you wan send that kind MSG, abeg,spell check, U know the kind country wey we dey for. Also, on the internet, spelling doesn't really matter, people, type as they pronounce and most times they use short cuts, so try and pardon them, At the same time, it also true that most Nigerians can not pronounce words correctly, i would attribute that to our poor educational system here. Don't get me wrong, i know it happens all over the world, but you guys shouldn't forget that Nigerians are pride themselves about their knowledge, our ability to excel academically and in what ever we find our selves doing has endeared us to the world and at the same time created fear in the hearts of so many countries, so the dude really had a point, wink

PoliticsRe: Politics Vs. Olympics by vicero(m): 10:24am On Aug 27, 2008
what do we expect. how can we pretend not to know whats happening. House of reps members and our senators want to go down to olympic fiestas, the question is for what? Look at the football team where a member of the coaching crew was dropped so a rep could go. of what advantage is he there? I even believe he is/ was more of a distraction than a help. First, he is not a coach, of what use was he on the bench and besides, why shld his estacode be more than that of those doing the real job, we should have a rethink in this country o. if not very soon, we would go to the olympics and come out with nothing, shey this time around we were lucky to get something. As Fasuba said, if they were well prepared, we would have had more to come home with. pls nigerians shuld never blame the atheletes again for switching alligeances to other nations. Since the country dosent value them, Imagine, someone goes out there and plays his heart out and you are giving him presidential hand shake or peanuts, when the reps collect more than them, abeg, lets leave story, only God can help this country.

ComputersRe: Windows Vista Tweaks for Optimal System Performance by vicero(m): 10:53am On Aug 26, 2008
The suggestions are good, though most are rather wrong ( practically), asking one to disable system restore? this is supposed to a forum to encourage good computer ethics, its rather wrong, u shld be arrested for ever suggesting that, but tumbs up to u, u've done a good job, thanks for the advice.
