Dear Startony,
Though your case might not be common in tropical countries like Nigeria, but it's a harmless medical condition known as hyperhidrosis. And though your case (as described) is a bit of the severe type, but however, this condition does not involve any health risk, neither is it a symptom of any serious disease or illness nor a side effect of any allergy: just that you might feel some discomfort according to your sensibility.
There are treatments or surgeries or both for it, i advice that you consult a physician. Cheer up, you're not at risk cool

I do not hold grudges against anyone, and i'm not a trouble maker, my intentions were to hinder unfair moves to dupe or scam people who want to travel: i know many people who have lost great deal of money to travel fraudsters, or that have been deceived to travel to places where they are frustrated and in desperate need to return to Nigeria empty handed: A childhood pal of mine is a victim, he lost more than a million Naira only to find himself in a place like Bahrain, a tiny island in the Persian gulf/east of Saudi Arabia, north of Qatar (the country is so tiny that you can barely see it in the middle east map except if zoomable).
Of course he was deceived to believe that there is a greener pasture for him once he gets there. To make things even worse, his poor family celebrated his travel success. Thus feeling the weight of the shame to return to Nigeria empty handed, he overstayed his visa and his returned ticket. He called me several times for help, i could only send him some money, but that wasn't what he wanted, he expected i could help him get to Europe. But that was absolutely impossible since he hadn't a residence permit for Bahrain to enable him apply for a visa from there, and worst still, his visa had expired: The desperate guy had other suggestions, he thought he could "vanish" into other countries closer to Europe and then, he would cross over. As you can see in the map bellow, Bahrain shares no bother with any country.
It was difficult to persuade him to return to Nigeria and take other safe means for Europe. At this time, i had no choice than to warn him that his plans is as risky as trying to swim across some crocodile infested rivers and that i wasn't going to send him further money except for his ticket back home.
When i said "crocodile infested rivers", i wasn't referring to the sea itself, i was actually referring to the land-border crossing, first of all, there are countless number of forgotten or abandoned, or even undetected land mines at various border sides of the middle east; also, you all know how much we fear Arab people in terms of kidnap and other terrifying activities. So, i don't think it's an ideal to trespass their borders especially for someone with a name like Christopher.
I eventually had to buy his ticket myself because i feared he would use the money to substain himself (as he had been doing) and that would make him stay longer in Bahrain with the pressure on me.
He's now back in Nigeria, but he's yet to recover from his ordeal. His terrible experience is not something anybody would like to pass through.
My outspoken spirit has earned me some negative responses and people have called me names and insulted my personality, but who am i not to expect insult? Well, nobody (they say) is perfect, i'm a nobody just one other user of this versatile forum.
I want to use this opportunity to make it clear that i'm not against anybody who's doing his business, whether you're a Travel Agent, Helper Consultant or Tout, i just wish that in any condition, you guys should explain the true circumstance of the situations in the destination countries.
I however wish to apologies to anyone who personally take offence at my posts as they weren't intended to hurt or offend anyone.
   Long live Nairaland!

Imani, Vikiviko is not the bad guy that i thought he was, i've investigated him and i saw a humble sincere man in him. He's now my pal, and i see no obvious reason to oppose him.
It wasn't ironical when i said that he (Vikiviko) knows better, i meant it, he actually knows much about immigration issues and embassy matters, so, i'd expect him to contribute here: He won't be pissed off because, he knows i'm for him. Can you see that i've withdrawn my posts about him?
As for Armed_lion, he is my pal in Greece.

CareerRe: Aids Has A Cure by Vicjustice: 7:59pm On Jun 08, 2007
At the moment, there is absolutely no cure for AIDS.
Before i analyse on this subject, i want to first of all explain some basic facts to our knowledge about this deadly phenomenon, AIDS.
Many people mistake AIDS for HIV and HIV for AIDS, they also mistake TREATMENT for CURE; perhaps this misunderstanding misled the author of this thread, Pcmecon to assume that "there has been cure for AIDS".
HIV the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, is the virus that causes AIDS if not treated. This HIV is relatively difficult to contract, and yet, it's the most dreaded, and an estimated 40 million people worldwide are confirmed positive of the virus (not to talk about the many more millions with unconfirmed cases).
There are treatments for the HIV virus, but still, no cure until today.
When HIV virus enters the blood it quickly penetrates certain white cells (called `CD4' cells or "T4 cells"wink in the body. The body's immune system fights back and temporally suppresses the virus which retreats until it's powerful enough to attack again.
This battle period between the body's immune system and the HIV virus usually lasts for one to four weeks during which some people may have symptoms that mimic that of mononucleosis-like symptoms.
Symptoms may include: Fever, swelling of the Lymph nodes, Headache, dry Cough, loss of Appetite, Sweating, profound and unexplained Fatigue, rapid Weight loss, Diarhea Diarrheag for over one week), and sore throat. Often times this can be mistaken as having the flu or another viral-type infection (cold virus; like fever): [s]Some people may develop skin rashes on the chest, abdomen and/or back.[/s].
These symptoms usually persist for several days, and then, the HIV victim recovers from them and would feel and appear like any other healthy person for the period of time while the virus is gathering up for intence come-back attack. Many people don't have any symptoms at all while some have one or two which might not be obvious.
Human has an everage of 1000 CD-4 cells which is liable to reduce as the virus progresses, so, HIV patients are adviced to see a doctor for check-up every 6 months, while the cells are being monitored: A patient would only start taking HIV drugs once the cells decline to about 500.
HIV can be treated to prevent the development of AIDS or at least, to slow it down. but there is NO CURE not until today. Scientists have done so far, but not so well as to find the cure or the vaccine: the most recent hope for a breakthrough is expected in "at least, 7 to 10 years time", but still, cures are not certain.
It's important that every body should do the HIV test because, the earlier you know your positive status, the better you stand a chance to prevent it from becoming AIDS: Patience with HIV can control it's development and can live normally. Remember, once it become AIDS, it's too late, even to take the drugs: the patient only prays for the mercy of death.
FACT: There are treatments for HIV, but no cure for it.
FACT: There is no treatment for AIDS and there is ABSOLUTELY NO CURE FOR AIDS

Understand my comments, I'm never in support of corruption nor unfairness: yet, i'm not against the Nigerian embassies making visas reasonably difficult for Europeans, because (like i said before), i've seen and spoken with some Europeans going to the embassy to apply for visa as if they're going to a kiosk to buy stamps.
The Nigerian embassy reserve the rights to decide who to issue visa and who to refuse it, but yet, they seldom refuse any European visa.

Please, let the Nigerian embassy (in Spain) be.
While i regret that it's your acquaintance that's involved in this particular difficulty, I'm also glad to hear that they make things reasonably difficult for him too. I've seen many arrogant Europeans who think that they can get the Nigerian visas just at the snap of their fingers as if one is buying a stamp from a kiosk.
Please, let the Embassy be, afterall, the hard time they would give him is not even a 10th of what European Embassies give to Nigerians. Cool cool
Note: If it's not difficult to get the visa, they won't respect the people in the country
TravelRe: Complaints About Nigerian Embassy In Spain by Vicjustice: 10:39am On Jun 08, 2007
But Blonde1, don't you think you're a bit too fast to judge without knowing what really happened at the embassy? Whatever brings in the issue of bribery and corruption? The complainant never said that the embassy asked for a bribe neither did he make any comment on bribery suspicion.
Don't you think you're judging from your own assumption due to your negative assessments about Nigeria and the Nigerians?
I can bet that bribery is out of the reasons for the difficulties: there's obviously no reason to bribe about, the Nigerian embassy doesn't have an avenue for bribery, this is the fact.

But what has this girl done to you to deserve this exposure and silly accusations? I guess you tried to get her, but she didn't give you a green light, and this might have made you try to disgrace her here. I don't believe your stories about her.
Do you realise that it's an offence to post a person's photo without his/her concent?

If you have any problem getting her, then, leave her alone in peace because, not a reasonable person would believe you of this fabrications about her.
Perhaps you should try harder to get whatever you want from her, try harder. Well, my assessment about you and your actions is: You are just another big fool and your action is cowardice. Shame on you!

TravelRe: Very Interesting: Can Someone Advice Me On Getting Ireland And Australia Student by Vicjustice: 4:22pm On Jun 03, 2007
Dear Berliano
I don't know much about Australian education system due to the following factors: their immigration laws, the documentation policies and their social rules and regulations which are considered strict to immigrants.
Australia is a conservative country that seldom create opportunity programmes such as Scholarships, Carrier pursuit schemes, Residence or Work permits, Training courses schemes, Asylum benefit or Immigration schemes etc.
Talking about the climate or weather in these two countries, many parts of Australia are more or less like many parts of Africa; generally arid to semiarid; temperate in south and east; tropical in north: This is the only advanced country where water is managed with some questionable degree of regulations to monitor water usage.
As for Ireland, there has always been open programmes schemes to help immigrants to the benefit of their own economy which has boosted remarkably in recent years, in fact, it's rated the 2nd best in the word after Luxembourg.  It's always raining in Ireland: temperate maritime; modified by North Atlantic Current; mild winters, cool summers; consistently humid; overcast about half the time.
I'd advice that you consider Australia because, Ireland and the UK have their hands full and tight with immigrants; both documented and undocumented, students and families, asylum seekers and naturalised dwellers.
Though there are opportunities in these two countries, and while Ireland may be appealing because of it's rich and generous social welfare programmes, you'd only be like any other African or Asia students once in Ireland because, the education system (for those who are already in the state) is come-one-come-all: so, doing your education here does not guarantee you anything enviable afterall, asylum seekers and undocumented immigrants from African and Asia do attend same schools. Now, considering the fact that you've gained admission into an institution in a country like Australia that is known for stinginess and selfishness inhospitality to asylum seekers, the opportunity you'd have in Ireland might not be as compared to the one you'd have in Australia. Try Australia because, it hasn't yet been messed up by us: Australia is for Australians and those who are invited into it!
While i wish to congratulate you for your admission, and to appreciate the honour of calling me to give advice on this matter, i want to bring to your reminder that admission does not in any way guarantee your visa success: it's just a ground on which you can stand to apply for it: therefore, be careful and smart with your application, avoid doing anything that might jeopardise your chance; and more still, be careful with some "travel agent" guys in this nairaland.
And if you wish to keep further correspondence with me, or you wish to know something or ask any relative questions
   Goodluck!
