Please i would like to get advise from professionals like you guys from the house. Okay let me start by am 28years,not married and a businessman. I would like to make a short vacation of 3months and i am either thinking of going to the U.K or getting a Schengen visa,i haven't done any of these applications before thats why i want guidelines from you guys before i do anything. Do you advise i go for UK tourist visa or Schengen Visa? I had 3 months Malaysia tourist visa in my passport but i couldn't go because i was busy with my business.

I have a building here in Nigeria where i live but no C of O and i have some lands as well and i have my registered company. I don't know if these will be of any help to me.

An agent said it will cost me 850k for them to give me Schengen visa/U.K Visa and it is even not easy to get.

Pls i need advice pals.

Please note that my wife work with one of the financial institution in the country but the problem is that her appointment has not been CONFIRMED and as a result of this, her organisation will not give her the required supporting document.

Moreso, If I should go ahead and put in as family, what are the likely documents am I expected to provide and HOW MUCH is expected to be in my ACCOUNT?

opsy4real1: but i learnt frm much earlier posts frm dis thread that even if one is banned frm u.k or ireland that they dont categorically state that you are banned on the refusal letter. How come then do 'marksamk' know he had been banned frm Irish embassy for 5yrz frm October,2009 if it wasnt stated in his refusal

She intend inviting me to to UK and it was noted that one of the requirement is evidence of UTILITY BILL. She is no longer in Swansea but currently leaving with the Uncle in London.... I have never for one day believe that such
things really exist,i only saw this on movies..the
world is fast changing.
A man believed to be in his 70s, who claimed to
be a wizard, was on Wednesday found on the
banks of the Okrudu River at Kaimebre, a
settlement near the Kasoa New Market in the
Central Region Ghana.
The wizard who gave his name as Charles Atta,
looked frail, pale and bore protruding br**sts like
that of a teenage girl.
His body was smeared with mud from the bank of
the river where he was found by two brothers,
Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng, who claimed
they found the strange man crying for help.
The two brothers told Daily Guide reporters that
the self-acclaimed wizard confessed to them that
he was in the company of colleagues, including a
medical doctor and were flying to Cape Coast for
a meeting when he was forced down.
According to him, they were flying over a church
where an all-night vigil was being held when he
crash- landed at Servant Kings International
School.
“When we asked him where he was coming from,
Atta told us that he was from Akuapem Akropong
but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting
for witches and wizards,” he said.
Charles also confessed that the two puffy
protrusions on his chest were br**sts taken from
his 16-year- old granddaughter and that he
normally borrowed them for his night activities.
When the strange announcement was made on
radio, hundreds of people besieged the premises
of the radio station to see the suspected wizard.
Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police
dispatched a number of police personnel to the
station to save the victim from being lynched.

dlima: @Vicjustice, thank you for your prompt response. Your comment makes alot of sense and I wish she had chosen that option, but she actually thought she had the accurate year. So now that this has happened, should she correct it in the application she is submitting now, with or without an explaination, or just not rock the boat. I have read here where people that are regular travellers are refused for inconsistencies. thank you.

nickson03: What justice is saying is true if you have been refuse an irish visa base on deceit there is a chance u may be refuse uk visa too. My friend wife was refuse uk. Base on stupid reason so i want to apply for a irish visa for her but i decided to do some reseach before puting application to irish visa i discover that irish and uk share thesame data information which enable irish to discover many people that make application to irish had previously been refuse by uk and many that apply to uk had be refuse by irish many were refuse by irish or uk. However, the irish will place 3 year ban on you if found deceit not 10y this is stated clear on irish immigration web. But there is a chance of been refuse by uk if irish refuse you base on deceit.

dlima: Morning all, fantastic work you are all doing here. I need some advice from the gurus in the house. My sister is about to renew her uk visa and I brought it to her attention that she wrote the wrong year for our dad's date of birth on her previous application. Now the question is should she correct this with explaination or continue to use the wrong date in the subsequent application. Thanks

d2ddayo: thank you for concern over this issue of mine, please i will implore us all up in here not to take it otherwise which might lead we insulting eachother. i believe the essence of this thread is for us all to learn and advert future mistakes which makes no man an island up in here. thank you vic, dideoluayantund and everyone who had in one way contributed to this issue of mine. now the major thing is first i didnt lie and i ve to look and use all ways to clear this wrong accusation! yea i know ireland and uk share the same immigration rules, et al so does that mean i wont be able to apply to the uk till anoda 8 years. i believe this can be reviewed once i get a good lawyer and i prove my innocence to this. what is the way forward is my question up in here. thanks

geek: How exactly is Vic's disagreeing with the opinions of others discourteous? He's not editing or hiding other people's posts so I don't see how he's preventing others from 'expressing their mind'.

All I see Vic doing is providing FACT rather than the subjectives or 'pray to God for a visa' that others use. I agree at times he does this in a very direct (borderline rude manner) but hey I'd much rather get his advice than guidance filtered down based on heresay. Vic provides advice that's relevant, considered and doesn't see me wasting my time or money.

dideoluayantund: @Vicjustice regarding d2ddayo's plight i like submit that your stands on this argument is too negative .It is very clear that knowledge is not limited and we are entitle to our opinions.The situation with the guy in Question never mention TEN years ban as you stated and should he declare yes and no where required of him in his UK application not minding the fact that uk and Irish sharing info.He will surely be given if he meets all their requirements.
