Very funny.

Why did you killed the leaders of other regions and angel Gabriel protected your own in your usual, we are smarter than God move.

Tell the world why Zik and Eastern Primer were not killed on that faithful night?

Why was the beneficiary of the couple led by igbo officer also an igbo man.

Why did the beneficiary of the coup, Ironsi, inclined towards dismantling of the region's and concentration of power at the centre, which has ever been since then.

Why were your people making sounds of machine guns in kano market to taunt the hausas?

Why was the t-shirt of the killing of the leaders made and only your people were wearing it.

Why was a song sang by an igbo muscian for the same killing, taunting the massacred leaders.

Why did Ojukwu rushed to war without having plans on how to feed the citizens of his pet project of Biafra?

What onus lies on FGN to keep feeding a population that his rebelling against the state?

Were mercenaries not used by Biafra too? Who bombed Pen Cinema, Marina and Apapa port?

Why were your soldiers getting fatter while the civilians were getting leaner? Who was hoarding the UN and FGN food supplies?

If there was food and economic blockade against Biafra, why did you not envisage and make provision for same? Why were all diplomatic ties with other countries not established first before rushing to declare Biafra? Or you expected FGN to do all that for you again?
Good one but your statement wasn't entirely true.

Festus Okotieboh and Ironsi were part of the people to be killed. Ironsi was the head of the military then, so he had people to guard him more than the other rulers. Okotieboh was killed who was from South East/south south of today.

Azikiwe was not with them when the massacre was made like Awolowo was in prison when the whole thing started.

Led by the igbo officer but with other regions as supports. We had a yoruba and an Hausa as part of the coupists. So, you mean the people taken to kill Tafawa Balewa were igbos? No, there were northerners there too.

For your information, Nigerians begged the Military to disrupt the democratic system where all these people were eating our and buy fleets of cars abroad, so the young soldier took the matters into their hands.

Ironsi wasn't killed because he escaped death and ordered soldiers in Lagos to mount guard for him and he chased the coupists out of the capital. He was afraid all the time he was in power because the coupists have all ran to the north for protection, some out of the country.

Making sounds of machine guns? Oh please!

The Nigerian nation did not feed Nigeria. How sensible will a country feed another people he is fighting against, they only stopped the supplies of food.

If the Hausa kill 30,000 yorubas, you will embrace the survivors and continue with one country see that they didn't want to stop at nothing to exterminate the whole tribe in the north.

15 mercenaries making Nigeria shiver?

Lmao! The soldier were getting fatter, did u see the faces of the soldiers who fought the war after they finished fighting it?

The feeding of Biafra was not the problem before Nigeria asked cameroun to block Bakassi.

isreal and france supported d biafran army,by givin dem weapons, foreign mercenaries also helpd d biafran army
Nigeria as a country will call 15mercenaries under the payroll of Ojukwu as help?
These mercenaries were from different parts of the world not necessary Israel or France. We had a south african there too.
For the weapon help, the only time the French sent weapon thru the cameroun border was in 1968 before they told to discontinue the help to the Biafran people because Nigeria had had a meeting with other African nations to stop people from seceding in their various countries so that they won't have mushroom countries.

War is not a football match, where, at the start of the game, the referee ensures that both teams have eleven players each. There is no body that pegs or put a limit to the aid a country at war gets.
A war you couldn't win fair and square without the help of world power is no war won. Its like Biafra was fighting 4 nations, 3super-powers and a country. If Biafra could hold their own in the war for 3years, with little help from France which was later stopped by the other super-powers, then give kudos to them.

Nigeria Generals committed genocide

They are not the same.

Ojukwu got aid from Israel and France. Steiner, a French pilot, was a mercenery of Biafra who carried air raids in the liberated Port Harcourt.
The Steiner u mentioned was a paid mercenary and not any help from France. France only came to our aid when they saw how super-powers were feeding Nigeria with weapons.

Understand something about this war, the USA and UK knew that it will be difficult to lay their hands on Biafran Oil if we got the independence our way, so they helped Nigeria.

For your knowledge sake, the Arewa people wanted to secede first before they were urged not to try that way except they want to be a fourth world country.

So, it was game of interest to the whites. Feed Nigeria weapons while feed Biafra drugs that are too heaven for them.

Carving out a piece of any nation is a declaration of war.
The actual declaration of war was when 30,000 igbos were killed in the north.

You can see that chasing them down to Ore was the turning point and that was when they decided to get serious.

What was the gain if the Nigerian military had gone out to fight all out from the start? Nothing but deaths they wanted to avoid
The Nigerian army were the ones who brought the fight to the Biafran door step, Biafra didn't go and fight against them.
The turning point was when the Biafran army began to lack weapons and food supplies.

You should know that America and United Kingdom were supplying Nigeria weapons while they were supplying Biafra medical supplies.

A chance of chasing against an enemy who knows he can crush you but has been soft peddling.

Bad tactic
It was bad because you can see the outcome now. But you know some people have won wars with lesser military strength but higher military tactics.

There was a time the Biafran army were having a good time with the Nigerian army. So, we can't conclude that the Nigerian army had the better chance all the time the war was fought.

I have the documentary on the war, that's why I am telling you that the Biafra had their chance when they chased the Nigerian army down to Ore.

If Delta was policed well, there was still no way a naval and air blockade could have been resisted. How do you want to fight the Nigerian Navy in open waters if they decide no ship passes the Bright of Biafra?
We'll take our chances.

All these decisions would've been taken with proper research on best moves to take.

30,000 killed in the North is not forgivable I give that but throwing more lives and risking that of women and children to prove a point is also unforgivable.

Forget the "Super powers" outside support comes with war, America had support going into Iraq and Afganistan. There was no way they could have created a border that wont be eventually taken down the the federal forces decide to unleash the entire army.

Remember they took Delta back in waht was described as a "Police action"

General Ojukwu went into a gun fight with a letter opener and was too damn proud to run away so he can fight another day
The Nigerian army had the advantage of numbers and facilities but the Biafran army had the advantage of patriotism.

Like I said earlier, the war wasn't fought to be won. There were some background work on how to find possible ways of looking for sovereignty which some igbo elites wanted to do. And it was also a two way thing, if we had policed the Delta region well, the war would've ended in a stalemate whereby we would've used the delta sea for weaponry transaction and oil business (which was about to boom then).

So, in all we wanted peace through violence. Though it didn't work out the way we planned, Ojukwu acted like a father who's children were sent away from the playground.

Did they really push the Nigerian army back or was the Nigerian army not willing for an all out war against their own?

Whatever the answer was, to be free, you have to win. Winning was not possible, sacrificing people to slow down defeat was pointless and silly
You might think that fighting wasn't the right path to take but the available option on ground then, fighting was best.

How do you explain almost 30,000 igbos killed in the north? These men were out to exterminate them from the north and they said we should remain as one? Who does that? If not for the help of "super-powers" supporting the Nigeria end, we would've atleast created a border to hold them away. I think that was the plan. The war wasn't fought to defeat Nigeria, but atleast create a border to stop them till we find a way to create a proper sovereignty.

Look let's stop being nice and fave the facts, there was no way Ojukwu would have won that war. It was implausible.

The entire might of the FG against them?
Yes, based on the fact that they were fighting 1 against 4. But you will still give them a plus for pushing the Nigerian army as far as Ondo.

It wasn't a war to win, it was a war to be free.
