many of you love dreaming without thinking how.

the thinkers of how things are done and the ones who get things done.

we should stop living in dreams and start living in reality.

start alittle research of your own and see what you can get done and what the region can accept.

This project shouldnt be looked at as an unattainable project. I have been preaching this for many months now and it is time we look into this issue so as the dependency of the east will be reduce and the real performance of the east will be brought to light.

this shouldnt be politicised because it is strictly an economic capital project which we need to undertake so that the future of the eastern region will be safeguarded.

i am imploring on all easterners worldwide and around the country to see through their nose and do the right thing. some parts of imo and abia can get this thing done and this project will be fully-funded by easterners and create the required opportunities for the future.

it is time to think #east

I will start doing what you just said brother. it is a very good and deep thinking. it is not by arguing who owns a particular land and who is igbo and who is not. it is an argument what we can do to develop what we have

I am not begging any body to stay or leave, I only stated the obvious. Besides, I am not in support of Biafra, I am for One Nigeria.

We have to be alert on all grounds. this is because if the oil start looking unattractive, then we will have a problem. i am not in support of bringing foreign investors (especially whites) to invest in our lands and give us peanuts and pay our brothers change. if we can do what we have to do and bring our own investments down east with proper planning in the next 20 years, then when you come to the east, if you leave after one holiday, swear for me.

the eastern region is the most blessed region in Nigeria for the future. whether you like it or not, nature will boot you back home. and if you dont come back home, either famine with chase you back.

Biafra or not nobody is going anywhere.

Now, i dont understand why people are afraid of ndigbo.

tell the people living in southsouth who wants to dig a borehole and ask them how deep they dig before getting water. everyone is trying to be 'its my land'. if they like in the southsouth, let them continue to castigate the igbos and say they own opobo. do you think opobo will still be onshore in the next 50years?

the igbo land is the best place to be in this generation of global warming. after reading different articles and done so many research on this present situation. i love the igbo land where it is. we are the future. the rate at which the rivers will be filled, surrounding communities might go with it. so insulting the igbos now will be fun, what about begging later?

I am not saying igbos are leaving soon. but if you check what is happening to nigeria and its economic strength, please its better we fight for an economic viable eastern region and stand as one. like i said earlier, the whites are waiting for us to make good decisions, this is one of them

If the river passes through non-Iboland, this whole charade is soooo dead on arrival! You think the natives of those lands will watch you cross their land, from the sea across their land to Ibo land? No fucking way is that gonna happen! Not only would you be stopped, but even if it ever happens, they can choose to dam the river at anytime, so you end up with a big hole or channel without water!!

the international law states that no one has control over the access of any particular river.

please let them dam it, lol, I am begging, let them dam it.

the sea is coming onshore and if dont know, it will over the shorelines soon. its better they allow passage way now, or they will end up running down to igbo land for survival.

these days, the sea is chasing everyone. the sea is coming to us.

You don't reason well. You have based your argument on the assumption that if Igbos pull out of Nigeria then all the other tribes will remain in Nigeria. What you don't know is that if the Igbos are allowed to leave, the Niger Delta would also leave to form their own country. Even the MB might also quite and stay on their own. Then there would be ifferent countries living side by side and diplomacy will come into play. If the Igbos leave, the centre will crumble. Boko haram might even take over the NE and establish an islamic caliphate there.

please dont argue that way. if others will love to stay back, let them stay. but biafra wont come now until we are prepared to go.

we can support our government to achieve this. We can call on our brothers living outside Nigeria for help. I'm ready to give my one month salary to make sure that SE has access to the sea.
Imo airport was built by the people of Imo state, almost everyone contributed even little kids to make Imo airport a reality.

We have been doing a lot of research on how to implement diasporan tax system. this tax system will be for ndigbos worldwide. it will not be a harmful tax system and it will just be like one-tenth or so of what you earn. the bigger players will be taxed more because they will want to use the port more than normal traders. since they will also get concessions in the first few years of its construction.

it is possible we can get this done. there wont be any problem with the neighbours because no one is dredging out of the rivers but into the river.

a seaport is very possible in the east. a well-documented research have been about it, the only thing we need to do is execution. within the next five years. you will see a very good sea port in the east.

I only comment on intelligent threads like this.

The dredging of the river is very possible and can be done without interfering with other peoples lives and properties. the distance from the sea is not far because farther distances have been dredged within a year. the only problem will finances which can be sourced from smart investment projects.

There is also a confluence river in imo and it is deep. this confluence river can dredged and its at a closer proximity to the ocean. the map do not carry everything you need to see but in the real sense of it, it is possible.

the weather will favour the igbos because with the increase in global warming, the sea will come to us and we wont need to do much in dredging the river.

the estimated cost for this project will be around 15billion dollars or so. I know we dont have the money now but with serious minded people in the job, it can be done. having a seaport in the east is the future and we will achieve it in our generation without the help of akwa ibom and river state government because they will not see it as their major project but only a distraction from their problems which is true.

a sea port linking the southeast directly will bring economic life to the east and it will be a welcome development.

This post is an insult to whoever made this statement.n To be sincere, the ndigbos should desist from any form of association with these people. From what you said, you guys have shown your true colour one more time. this is infact really disheartening.

did you check the figures very well before writing this rubbish?

now the igbos are the cause of jonathan's problem. very good. i love this.

southwest gave a meagre 2.7 million votes with the population of lagos, ogun and oyo states. not counting the number of igbos in lagos and ibadan that voted too. check the number of people who voted for ribadu and compare it to the number of people who voted for him.

This is a very good one.

The only reason wealth spread in the east is basically because people help their brothers and kinsmen in the way of being my boy for some years and i will pay you after those years. they do not only give them money, they also go ahead to give them contacts and push them during their first trying years in business.

you dont expect an igbo man to dash you money without working atleast for it.

Politics / Re: Letter To The Biafrans From The Great People Of Imo State. by VickJames(m): 11:59pm On Oct 21, 2015
To clear the air about the misconception of Biafra being known after 7years of civil war is false. Biafra has been in existence before the whites came to the present Nigeria. Economically speaking, Biafra is the way forward because the entity called Nigeria is losing it and it will finally go down.

Do you think you will be able to own 70percent of oil wells if the wells were located in the north? I think one will be shared for all eastern states or we go to blazes.

Do you know that there's oil in the north east but they don't want to touch it. They keep telling lies that they have checked but no success. Why? Oil will soon end in south and they will have the economy to control. This is not Nnamdi Kanu's propaganda, its fact on ground. So south south people, enjoy your union.

You said Buhari chose Igbo man twice or thrice without success. But you know that we still voted for an Hausa man instead of him (Yaradua). We still voted for Yoruba and Hausa pairing against our own brothers. But please check very well, the Hausas have been in government either by VP or President since 1999 but igbos have never been VP or President since then.

Have you ever been to the east? The east is smaller than Niger State but Niger State have better roads than the whole southeast. So what are we not saying? I know you'll say Jonathan was the president, right? But who were the ministers of works and minister of roads?

Politics / Re: The Biafran Intention Exposed by VickJames(m): 11:36pm On Oct 21, 2015
I don't like commenting on Biafran argument threads but let me use this opportunity to correct the misconceptions in the minds of some people.

Okay, agreed, Ijaws, efiks, ibibio and Anangs will not join Biafra. To be sincere, we have no problems about that.

The recent protests have shown that if Asaba (anioma) and Igweocha (Ikwerre) are showing support for this agitation. To me, these are the people I need, reason being that, they're my brothers and I won't like to look over the fence and see them maltreated in this country.

That aside, the geographical size of the Biafra region is not bigger than two northern states taking into cognizance of the other two people I just added into the equation. Now, let me explain well why Biafra will still be a 1000 ways better than Nigeria.

7 states ( I propose):

Anambra: Oil, Agriculture, coal and iron ore
Imo: Oil, Agriculture, iron ore
Enugu: limestone and Coal.
Ebonyi: limestone and agriculture
Abia: Oil, Agriculture and iron ore
Ikwerre and Obigbo axis: Oil and agriculture
Anioma: Oil and agriculture.

These are the resources available to the Biafran that can be used to develop the region but one thing you forget about the igbos is that, they're not lazy. Most of them have money without touching oil and gas for over 50years. They still live well and fine. So, you see what we're talking about.

Now, there's a misconception that the east doesn't have access to the sea, sorry, you're wrong. Haven done research, I can confidently tell you that the igbos have access to the sea. The confluence river (blue river) connecting Azumiri and Imo river is deep and big. It is just 25miles from the atlantic ocean. This is closer than 3 other seaports in use in Nigeria at the moment. So, the igbos have access to the sea. We've not even talked about Obuaku river.

They say the landmass cannot carry its people but I say its false. Lagos is the second smallest state in Nigeria but houses close to 15 to 20million people. Like you said, we're just 35million people. So with adequate planning, everyone will stay in the easy without problems. Remember, the small size of Lagos, we still have the sea cutting through the different parts of Lagos and we still see new locations opening in Lagos with bare lands i.e ibeju lekki, ajah, epe, etc. Therefore, the east can accommodate the number of people it wants.

I don't hate anyone in Nigeria. But the truth remains that, our economy cannot carry our population anymore. No matter how hard you try, you'll still need a "foreign investor" to invest in your country. The foreign investor will not plan to stay forever but will carry all the nairas to his country.

Sorry, let tribalism stay.

Nigerians should stop living in dreams and face reality. No human is detribalized, I'm sorry, its the real truth. How do I expect a man from core north who doesn't know a street in the east to tend to the problems in the east? Its not possible, we will only end up managing the situation and we all die managing.

Like an economic analyst said today, our economy cannot carry our population anymore. So what should we do? Let everyone fight for himself. Its better.

There are 1001 reasons for u to accept the dissolution of this country. If you think very well without emotions, you'll see more reasons than I have thought to go separate ways.

That means it pulls every object 2 or more times the normal gravitational pull of every object.
