the bible is the basis of all doctrines, anyone that doesn't derive it's origin from it is wrong. We should test doctrines if they be true or not. I am not condemning him as a person. I'm only testing the doctrines of his church.

Believers were gathered to pray when Peter got out of prison with the help of an angel. they were praying for him and it was in the night. As to how you pray, the bible doesn't say anything about gestures during prayers. Prayer any how you like just make sure it's in line.

I cant waste my time and money to go all the way to Lagos, stand on the queue for hours just to challenge a doctrine that doesn't really contradict the Bible. so why don't I go all the way to Rome to challenge the pope. Religious forums and church discussions are enough to air my views on certain doctrines.

I sense no sarcasm in all your posts. I make it known to everyone even in my house that I do not support some of his doctrines. And his doctrines aren't contradictory to the Bible so I care less.

My catholic friend once told me that her rosary has done miracles for her and that no one can ever convince her to put it away. isn't that putting you trust in another medium apart from Christ? and nothing in the Bible supports it. simple!

The Bible didn't record that. and that is a lovely way of describing people's prayer preferences. it's called vigils ok. read the book of Act and you'll see that believers gathered together to pray even at night.

It isn't called Shouting sessions but vigils. Jesus prayed at night, didn't he? But don't forget what Jesus said, watch and pray. the scriptures also said pray without ceasing. If you like night prayers, go ahead, if you like it during the day, fine. Just make sure you pray.

All doctrines will lead to hell tell me where that is found in the Bible. An if you say that all manmade doctrines will lead to hell the catholic doctrines will land all of you in hell too . Mother church my foot , show me where that is written in the scriptures. My pastor's doctrines might be far fetched but it doesn't contradict the scriptures. The catholic doctrines contradict the scriptures explicitly. Look here angry religious man, though I attend MFM I am not blind to some of their misconceptions, you shouldn't be blinded by yours, sift through all doctrines and accept that which is right and solidly backed by the scriptures.

The Catholic church is all about religion and doctrines upon doctrines. they fail to always look up to Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith.

We are all Christians and we shouldn't shy away from questioning doctrines. no denomination is perfect and the catholic church isn't an exemption. You all act like you church is infallible and that it's the first church. the Bible never said if the church was Pentecostal or Baptist or Catholic, it was called a Church.
The catholic church has invented some sugar coated doctrines that will led many to hell. some doctrines might be far fetched but will not lead to hell like , not using earrings and the likes but some might led you to hell e.g. purgatory, worshipping Mary, using the Rosary, praying to the dead and many more. Our rock is Christ and on him should the church of God stand and function. Not on Mary or the dead saints not by depending on the rosary for miracles.
we need to test doctrines by the fruits they produce. Do they make you rely on anything else but Christ?
