Wearable technology has become the talk of the day and we won’t deny that the idea is surely tempting. Now we all know that Apple is set to launch its iPhone 6 in September and the rumor mill has it that the tech giant is also set to launch its iWatch along with the new iPhone. Apparently, according to the news out there, it will be named as iTime.

The smart watch will be able to monitor the user’s health while being able to show them alerts from their phone. The gadget will also act as a remote for the ‘smart’ home gadgets. Apple pointed out the wearable gadgets when it delivered the latest update to its iOS software and has been recently targeting senior executives from different firms; a senior executive has recently joined Apple after leaving Tag Heuer and the speculations say that this was done to facilitate the iWatch’s production

Apple has already applied for a trademark for the ‘iWatch’ in Japan according to a patent official. All this points in only one direction; Apple is about to reveal its watch device soon. It is being said that Apple’s watch shall come equipped with a myriad of health and fitness sensors. There are reports of a sweat sensor as well along with at least 10 other sensors. News is also floating about Apple signing up sports icons to try the wearable – it implies that a marketing campaign is being planned.
According to many sources, Apple will be releasing the gadget with multiple screen sizes and shall have male and female versions as well. There is still quite a debate over whether the watch will be rectangular or curved.

Google needs no introduction; it has single-handedly improved our lives so much and in such a manner that now it is impossible to live without Google. However, there are certain projects and ideas of Google that seem to be shady at first glance and don’t really make much of a sense. We decided to compile a list of such items so that we can see what you folks think about these projects whose ultimate goal is unclear as of now. We love Google but we don’t want to be controlled by it, right?

8. Interactive Learning Centershttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/8.-Interactive-Learning-Centers-610x326.jpg

When Google builds such barges on San Francisco Bay and state that they will possibly be used as ‘Interactive Learning Centers’, you know something just doesn’t add up.

7. Electronic Skin Tattoohttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/7.-Electronic-Skin-Tattoo-610x342.jpg

Motorola (Google owned) has taken quite an interest in electronic tatoos and by interest, we mean that it is funding the electronic skin tattoo, which will connect to a mobile communication device and shall work by providing important bodily statistics to the user.

6. Gaze Tracking Systemhttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/6.-Gaze-Tracking-System-610x386.png

This technology that Google has invested in will allow advertisers to know how long was an advertisement viewed. This technology will help advertisers know what works for them and what doesn’t work. But what other applications will this technology have?

5. Purchasing Wind Powerhttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/5.-Purchasing-Wind-Power-610x457.jpg

Google has purchased 114 Megawatts of wind power in Iowa. Well that sounds quite normal, you would say, right? Wrong, because Google has no data centers in that area.

4. The Robot Youhttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/4.-The-Robot-You--610x480.jpg

Google has also invested in ‘Automated Generation of Suggestions for Personalized Reactions in a Social Network’. What it basically does is that it scours through your old posts and tweets in order to create an automated response to your friends. Basically, it will provide you with a robot you that can replicate your thoughts and act accordingly.

3. The Heart Symbol Patenthttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/3-The-heart-symbol-and-Patent-610x406.jpg

Well, the sad news is that Google has bought the patent for heart symbol and will probably use it with their Google Glass System.

2. Cane with a camerahttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/2.-Cane-with-a-camera.jpg

Google is coming up with a walking cane that will support a built in camera. The ultimate goal is still unknown and left for our imagination.

1. Lunar Xhttps://cdn.wonderfulengineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/1.-Lunar-X-610x457.jpg

Google offers $30 million to anyone who can send a robot to Moon, have it travel 500 meters and transmit video, images and data back to Earth. What’s the purpose? We still don’t know yet.

Akpors went for Ebola test at General Hospital, Kuje on Friday and was told to come back on Monday for the result.

When he got to church on Sunday, the pastor declared to the people that "everything you are looking for this week shall be positive"

Akpors jumped on his feet and shouted "I REJECT IT IN JESUS NAME, my own must be negative ooooooo.''

Do the following things and say bye bye to Ebola. Read and share the message to end Ebola in Nigeria and Africa. This is the only solution. Ebola is no man's friend. See the cure at
