Romance8 Ways To Cheat In A Relationship Without “cheating” by viczing(op): 6:11pm On Oct 26, 2014
Relationships, especially long-term ones can be challenging – with all the temptations that we try to overcome and conquer when it comes to the opposite sex.
Some people say it is difficult to be in a long-term relationship and not cheat during the relationship. When these temptations come, we can close our eyes and move on, right? But the most appropriate question is why you even want to be tempted in the first place when it could be avoided.
Anything you cannot do comfortably in front of your partner is cheating. Sometimes, some people do not even know they are cheating which is where this article comes in.
1.Flirting: Now, most people might think this is harmless but this can lead to so many things. You are at the office and you are flirting with this pretty girl who you obviously know is into you, but you go on anyway. In your mind, you are still thinking it’s harmless. This is totally wrong because in this case, you know you can’t date her because you have a girlfriend so why put yourself in that position?
2.Dressing up for the opposite sex: If you find yourself dressing to kill for the opposite sex other than your partner, then you have something up your sleeves. Your partner should be the only one you want to look good for. You should dress up because you want people to be jealous of what you share as a couple and not the other way around.
3.Going to events alone: I am not insinuating your partner be your handbag everywhere you go; which, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that. But when you go to events alone all the time, each time you are out, you are alone and giving the others a wrong impression of you. Most people would think you are single which would lead to inappropriate situations you have no control over. Over a period of time, you start to give in, especially if you see them over and over again. This leads me to the next point.
4.Avoid inappropriate situations: When you go out a lot by yourself and you keep seeing this pretty girl who you know likes you, eventually you become friends. After being friends, it becomes hanging out alone and the likeness grows from there. Avoid situations like this because they always lead to the wrong things.
5.Confiding in the opposite sex: This second point refers mainly to confiding in the opposite sex that you know wants to date you. You know deep in your thoughts that this person wants to date you but you tell him/her really personal things about your partner. The only person you should be confiding in is your partner. Let him/her be your best friend. They say the best relationships are the ones where the two individuals are best friends and can talk about anything. Those who are in this type of relationship know how awesome it feels. You do not need to go outside to look for that.
6.Getting an online boyfriend/girlfriend: From the Nigerian point of view, I know Badoo is very popular here. Badoo is a dating social network. You have a partner who you are hoping to get married to but you find yourself having a boyfriend or girlfriend on Badoo. This is wrong if you are in a relationship. You might be thinking that the relationship is only online and you may never meet but it’s still cheating whichever way you look at it.
7.Getting addicted to online porn: You shouldn’t be addicted to online porn in the first place. Then its double crime when you are in a relationship. Let’s assume you want to stay celibate and wait till marriage but you are watching online porn all the time. There is not much difference. The truth is that your partner would not like the fact that you are addicted so you won’t tell her. Once you start hiding things, that’s a sign that you are cheating.
8.Putting everything first before your partner: This is an emotional type of cheating. When everyone seems to be more important than your partner. It can best be described as ‘emotional cheating’. Every other person in this world always seems to be more relevant than your significant other. It’s cheating as well so desist from it.
At the end of it all, the general overview of this article is, any ‘negative’ thing you see yourself doing secretly without your partner’s permission can be summarised as cheating in its own way. It does not always have to be with another person. The truth is, no one is perfect. So try to work out your differences if your partner is worth it.
PoliticsWith Tinubu, Amaechi, Saraki On His Side, Odds Favour Buhari In APC by viczing(op): 5:03pm On Oct 26, 2014
*. Atiku, Kwankwaso, Nda-Isaiah oppose consensus candidacy
By Onyebuchi Ezigbo in Abuja
Mindful of the divisions that could arise from the conduct of primaries, key leaders of All Progressives Congress might have decided to choose the party's presidential candidate for next year’s election through a consensus arrangement. This plan, it is learnt, strongly favours the emergence of former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, as the APC candidate.
Indications to that effect emerged at the weekend, ahead of Wednesday’s extraordinary convention of the party, which is a prelude to the national convention to pick its presidential nominee.
THISDAY learnt that many APC stakeholders are favourably disposed to the arrangement to present Buhari. Prominent among the party’s leaders believed to be rooting for Buhari are APC national leader and former governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Tinubu, Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and senator for Kwara Central senatorial district and former governor of Kwara State, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
But the other main presidential aspirants of the party have maintained their opposition to the consensus plan. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, and publisher of Leadership newspaper, Mr Sam Nda-Isaiah, want the party to hold an open primary election to pick its presidential candidate.
Party insiders told THISDAY that in deciding on consensus, APC leaders were minded to avoid possible post-primary backlashes and serious divisions within the party’s own ranks that could weaken it in face of the impending contest against the incumbent president and sole candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. They were also careful to go for a nominee that would command the national popularity that the opposition party needs badly to put up an effective showing at the polls.
APC had on August 21 adopted what it called the modified direct primaries as part of the guidelines for selecting its presidential candidate. Announcing the decision at the end of its inaugural National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja, the APC national publicity secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, had said about 300,000 party men would be voting under the modified direct primaries to determine the APC presidential candidate. Mohammed said, “The adoption of direct primaries will ensure the participation of a large number of our members.
INEC guidelines provided for either direct or indirect primaries, but we have opted for the direct method that will ensure the largest participation of our members.
“We called it modified direct primaries because we are also aware of the challenges of getting about 20 million of our members to queue up for an election, especially in areas where we have security challenges.”
But a reliable source within the APC leadership said yesterday that after series of consultations and negotiations, the party had decided to abandon the option of modified direct primaries for the indirect method. The source said the party intended to use the extraordinary convention scheduled for Wednesday to approve the number of delegates that will participate in the electoral colleges under the party's indirect primaries system.
Indications are that the national leadership of APC is determined to push for a consensus arrangement that would lead to the emergence of Buhari as the party's presidential candidate. The party bigwigs pushing this position believe the former Head of State has a better chance of pulling the votes for the party.
With APC’s apparent preference for a northern presidential candidate that would slug it out with PDP’s Jonathan, the major aspirants currently vying for the APC ticket are from the North.
Former National Chairman of PDP, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who is now a chieftain of APC, is among party stalwarts working to realise the Buhari candidature.
National Vice Chairman of APC for North-east, Mr. David Lawal, has openly expressed support for Buhari, despite coming from the same state as Atiku.
Many APC leaders, including the governors, are said to be backing Buhari. A clear indication of this was the presence of a good number of the governors and Tinubu at the public declaration of presidential ambition by Buhari on October 15 in Abuja. About four governors and a large number National Assembly and state assembly members on the platform of the party had attended the former Head of State’s declaration.
Tinubu controls the party in the South-west, which has the highest voting population after the North-west. So his endorsement of Buhari would be an obvious plus for the former Head of State.
The stiffest contest for the APC presidential ticket is expected to be between Buhari and Atiku. Kwankwaso is billed to declare his intention to vie for the APC presidential ticket this week. But pundits believe he may eventually step down for Buhari under a consensus bargain, having come from the same zone as the former military leader.
But Kwankwaso said recently that those canvassing the consensus arrangement were people used to small parties. He said, “Many people were used to either small parties or let me say medium-sized parties where people sit down and choose somebody in a room. Now we are talking about APC mega party, which is not ANPP, CPC, APGA, or ACN.
“It’s a collection of all and we always tell people to look at the example of PDP. From 1999 to 2011, each election, they had to go for primary elections, not arranged election, but real elections.
“Even when we had sitting presidents in 2003 and 2011, there were elections, serious elections. And that’s why the PDP has been winning all along and all others who are making arranged elections are losing elections.
“As you can see, as fate would have it, now PDP has decided to do their own primary in the Villa and the APC is going to the field. That shows us clearly that APC will win elections and the PDP will lose election in 2015.”
Kwankwaso added, "We have always been consistent, but you see many people who are soliciting a president from this consensus, many of them are having in mind that when people go and sit down they will give it to their candidate. That’s consensus to them, that’s the main issue.
“I believe that since this party is very strong, all candidates should go round the country and campaign, bring in more hands, more people, and that is exactly what we are doing. In the last few weeks many people joined APC because of me and they will continue to join, especially, if I have a ticket.”
In the wake of the adoption of the modified direct primaries, Atiku had spoken in a similar vein. He said, "Those who are canvassing for automatic ticket are scared of a contest. Why should they be canvassing for automatic ticket in a democratic process? They are just scared and afraid of the contest. There is nothing like automatic ticket, they must have been coming from a background that is not so democratic in nature. It is not like the PDP where there is something like allocations.
“The electorate will determine who wins the ticket through the primaries and everybody is optimistic about his chances. But eventually, it is the electorate that will determine who wins it. That is the end of the story."
But the leadership of APC is being careful not to be seen as keen on a Buhari consensus, even though the effort has its tacit endorsement.
An APC source said some leaders of the party had muted the idea of offering the chairmanship of the party's Board of Trustees to one of the presidential aspirants to secure his withdrawal for Buhari, in a bid to maintain unity and solidarity in the party as it goes into the presidential election. The source explained that it was for this reason that the members of the BoT had deliberately decided not to elect its leadership until the issue of the presidential ticket was finalised.
However, Mohammed, referring to an assertion by the APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, said the leadership of the party will not force the aspirants to adopt a consensus candidate.
The national publicity secretary said, “Only yesterday, my chairman said it is only the aspirants that can agree on consensus among themselves. The role of the party is to ensure that the guidelines are followed.
“If the aspirants agree on a consensus, we are happy, but if they do not, we will go on to organise the primaries and every aspirant will be involved in the mechanism of the primaries.”
The APC spokesman declined to comment on the exact number of delegates that will take part in the presidential primaries, saying anyone who wants to know who is eligible to partake in the indirect primaries should wait till after the convention. He said the party hoped to secure approvals, including constitution amendments that will clear the ground for the primaries.
It is learnt that the modified direct primaries earlier adopted by the party runs contrary to its constitution, which states that primaries shall be either through direct or indirect method.
While addressing journalists at the end of APC's NEC meeting last week in Abuja, the national publicity secretary said the party had scheduled an extraordinary convention for October 29 to undertake some amendments to its constitution.http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/with-tinubu-amaechi-saraki-on-his-side-odds-favour-buhari-in-apc/192277/

PoliticsDefection: PDP May Declare Speaker’s Seat Vacant by viczing(op): 8:23am On Oct 26, 2014
http://www.punchng.com/news/defection-pdp-may-declare-speakers-seat-vacant/

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party is waiting for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mallam Aminu Tambuwal’s defection to the All Progressives Congress before ‘dealing’ with him,SUNDAY PUNCHhas learnt.
Investigations by our correspondent in Abuja during the week, revealed that the national leadership of the party was not pleased with the Speaker and was waiting patiently to see if he would defect to the APC before tackling him.
There had been rumours that the Speaker was considering defecting to the APC with the intent of contesting for the position of the governor in his home state, Sokoto.
The Governor of the State, Aliyu Wamakko, is said to be favourably disposed to the Speaker succeeding him, if he defects to the APC.
Tambuwal was said to have attended a meeting of the APC stakeholders in the state, where his governorship aspiration was said to have been discussed.
Although, a member of many caucuses of the PDP, the Speaker has not been attending its events, especially the National Executive Committee meetings.
He was conspicuously absent at the last NEC meeting where President Goodluck Jonathan was adopted as the sole presidential candidate of the PDP.
His actions were said to have angered the party; making members of the National Integration Committee of the party for the North-West, led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih, to ignore him when they visited Sokoto last week.
It was gathered that the party’s hierarchy felt the best time for the party to take its pound of flesh over the many ‘atrocities’ said to have been committed by the Speaker was if he dared to defect.
One of the two members of the National Working Committee of the party, who spoke on condition of anonymity with our correspondent said, “We are waiting for him to do what his people said he was going to do and also to show his true colours by going to the APC. It is then he would know that we are not fools.”
One of the cards on the table, it was gathered, was to force him to step aside and stop presiding.
“Then we will use the Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha to declare his seat vacant. The deputy speaker is a loyal party man and now that he wants to be governor of Imo State, he has no option but to do what the party wants,” another member said.
He added that since the party has the highest number of lawmakers in the House, it might not be difficult to achieve this option.
If this fails, it was also gathered that the party would proceed to the court and ask that Tambuwal be compelled to vacate the House having defected from the party that presented him.
“You can’t eat your cake and have it. If you say you are leaving the party, give us the ticket. Go back to your new party and attempt to contest. That’s just it,” the source added.
A member of the NWC who pleaded anonymity added that Tambuwal’s defection may also be positive for the PDP.
He said, “If he leaves, that could also be a good omen to us. It means that the 2015 budget would be presented by the President without much anti-party speeches and all that.
“It will also mean that the budget will be passed without much drama and rancour that his House is known for. So, in either way, the party will be a winner.”

SportsNFF Crisis: Giwa Resumes, Recalls Keshi by viczing(op): 8:14am On Oct 26, 2014
The Chris Giwa-led faction of the Nigeria Football Federation has overturned the decision of the body earlier taken by the opposing faction of Amaju Pinnick to reinstate Stephen Keshi as the Super Eagles coach.
The Amaju-led faction replaced Keshi with Amodu Shaibu a fortnight ago after leading the Super Eagles to a 3-1 victory over Sudan in Abuja. The win was the team’s first in four matches in the qualifying series for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Giwa faction took over the NFF following Thursday’s ruling by a Jos Federal High Court, which ordered the return of the status quo in the NFF before the September 30 election that brought in the Amaju-led board in Warri.
A part of the communique released on Friday by the Giwa-led board reads, “The NFF board reviewed and feels so strongly to sustain the out-of-contract assignment given to the technical crew of the Super Eagles led by Stephen Keshi at a very critical moment like this. Nigerians want the national team to play well, win and a pride to them.”
The board also dissolved all committees set up by the Amaju group and constituted new ones to manage the nation’s football.
Giwa toldSunday PUNCHon the telephone on Saturday that he would have no problem bringing Keshi back to manage the Super Eagles despite the coach saying he was prepared to move on after the NFF failed to renew his contract.
“I don’t have problem bringing Keshi back; he has not told me he was not interested. I’ve spoken with him and there are positive signs he is ready to lead the team to success,” Giwa said.

“I’ve never met Keshi before but I cannot agree with the idea of replacing the coach at a time we have crucial matches to play and qualify for the Nations Cup.
“Inasmuch as I don’t have anything against Amodu, I don’t think it is the right time to bring him on board. Amodu has not coached any team in that capacity for a long time, and this is a crucial time when we need to be on top of everything.”
The Amaju group, however, said it was not losing sleep over the activities of the Giwa faction.
The group confirmed on Saturday it has filed a Stay of Execution at the Federal High Court, Jos Judicial Division over the court’s ruling of Thursday.
The hearing of the case Stay of Execution comes up on Wednesday.
“We’re not losing sleep over this, we’ll get what we want from the court because we’ve not done anything wrong by conducting the NFF elections,” a member of the Amaju-led board saidhttp://www.punchng.com/news/nff-crisis-giwa-resumes-recalls-keshi/

#1 Scorpion Mating Ritual

The mating ritual of scorpions may seem a lively dance, but in effect, the wild aggressive actions initiated by the male are actually a defense mechanism to protect against the female’s bizarre nature of trying to devour his head first. Scorpions mate on moonless nights with the male hovering around the female a good 20 minutes. He then clasps the female’s pincers with his in order to restrain her and then deposits a spermatophore containing sperm on the surface of the ground. The female then absorbs the sperm into herself.

#2 Bowerbird Mating Rituals

The male bower bird is all class and sophistication when it comes to impressing his female. In order to attract her he will build a perfect beautiful nest complete with uniform design. Even the entrance will be a decorative arch lined with colorful objects. The perfection is reflective in the placement of objects that ensure the illusion of objects appearing uniform in size to the female. The nest building process is the main activity of the bower bird and it usually the more experienced older birds that get the female

#3 Flamingo Mating Ritual

When flamingoes mate it is an enjoyable dance in perfect synchronization involving the entire community. Akin to a well-choreographed chorus line, the birds will strut, stretch, puff and swivel about in perfect unison. Preceding every ritual, the males will oil themselves all over through secretions from a gland on the tail. This oil is also a protective cover from natural elements. It is believed that the female chooses a mate by close observation of the male who mirrors her actions best.

#4 The Quoll Mating Ritual

The Quoll is a little marsupial found in the Australian region. Their size and innocence however is in extreme contrast to their aggressive mating. When the female is ready to mate, the male will copulate with such violent force that the female may be lucky to survive the process with just cuts and bruises. In some cases the male ends up killing his partner in the act or he is shunned by her. However what’s weird is that he may also end up killing himself due to exhaustive multiple attempts of mating and fighting other males.

#5 Puffer Fish Mating Ritual

The puffer fish is truly artistic in his mating attempts. This little 12 cm fish will go to great lengths to decorate the ocean floor over an area of 2 meters in a circled pattern using coral and shells. This artwork nest takes about 12 days after which the female lays eggs within the center of the circled design. The elaborate designs are reflective of the strength of the male puffer which is what attracts the female. These designs have intrigued scientists in earlier years until a live photographed act revealed the designs as the work of the little puffer.

#6 Prairie Voles Mating Ritual

It is surprising to learn that prairie voles actually provide scientists with a case study for observing human bonding and why some tend to be promiscuous. Prairie voles due to their high content of natural neurochemical receptors like vasopressin and oxytocin are ensured of a strong bonding with their partners. Although some do tend t have affairs with other voles, in general they will remain faithful with one partner throughout their lifespan. The same partners will remain with each other raising several litters throughout the year.

#7 Sea Horses Mating Rituals

Sea horses tend to behave in the same way as humans where mating and attraction is concerned. Before a couple can actually mate they will meet every day to engage in social activity and intimacy. In perfect synchronization, they will swim, entwine their tails, and move along with each other. A perfectly romantic process, leads to the female carefully placing her eggs in the abdominal pouch of the male. Here the male is the pregnant partner, weird but true. Once the babies are born they are abandoned on their own and the male looks for a new female again

#8 Albatross Bird Mating Ritual

The cartoon like mating ritual of the albatross birds involves movements with their bills mimicking a sort of sword fencing fight. However these birds are totally monogamous preferring the company of each other lifelong. Throughout their 50 year lifespan, they will breed with the same partner every year. The bill dance is a major vocal event with a lot of clucking and cackling noise unique to the pair involved. With time the ritual gets subdued and lessens with age similar to the marital relationships of human beings.

#9 The Water Strider Mating Ritual

The water strider may be an insignificant little water fly, but when it comes to mating, the male is very demanding. Without any ritualistic dance or attraction he will climb atop the female expecting her to give in immediately. If she fails to do so he attempts to kill her by rippling the water to attract a predator towards her. He will only stop the rippling activity if she gives in. The female’s singular ability to fertilize eggs produced throughout a lifespan makes her disinterested in mating. It is only due to the male’s threats that they do so.

Cuttlefish are sea mollusks that resemble squids. Their camouflaging abilities of color changes for protection also help in attracting females. The male dominated cuttlefish population results in a constant battle for a single female’s attention. However size is of no consequence and the intelligent ones succeed by disguising themselves as females to maneuver through clusters of males towards an unsuspecting female. They will hide their additional arm used as a sperm dispenser. Some fish also have the ability to appear as half male and half female to ward off rivals.

The tripartite meeting between GEJ, Idriss Deby and Ali-modu Sheriff comes to mind . I don't need a crystal ball now to know that Ali modu was and is a kingpin of the Boko Haram Sect.

Alimodu has interst spanning various sector of the Chadian economy now we hear chadian delegation facilitated the negotiation between the FG and BH.
Hmmmm I smell something here.....

Interpol should have gone to one of the houses of Ali modu sherrif in Chad I'm sure they would have rescued some of the girls long ago if not all. Because it is hard to understand how over 200 girls are fed, clothed and lived in a forest for 6months.

Where are the US SEALS when you need them?

PoliticsExclusive: Boko Haram Negotiatin Cease-fire, Abducted Girls' Release Wit Nigeria by viczing(op): 9:23am On Oct 17, 2014
Islamist militant group Boko Haram is in talks with the Nigerian government to release more than 200 girls abducted six months ago and negotiate a cease-fire to a deadly insurgency that has claimed thousands of lives.
An adviser to Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and a man calling himself the secretary-general of Boko Haram told VOA Thursday that discussions are under way in Saudi Arabia, aided by high level officials from Chad and Cameroon.
Boko Haram's Danladi Ahmadu, who is in Saudi Arabia, said the girls are "in good condition and unharmed."
Ahmadu would not elaborate on the conditions under which the girls would be freed. Riyadh is not involved in the negotiations.
On April 14, dozens of Boko Haram fighters stormed a secondary school in the remote northeastern village of Chibok, kidnapping around 270 girls. Fifty-seven managed to escape.
Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau later threatened to sell the remainder as slave brides, vowing they would not be released until militant prisoners were freed from jail.
Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has been criticized at home and abroad for his slow response to the kidnapping and for the inability of Nigerian troops to quell the violence by the militants, seen as the biggest security threat to Africa's top economy and leading energy producer.
