why is a poof?
u wanna share?
Did you really buy him being that hurt by the challenge of Evans?

He play acts too much and I was really chuffed he got a yellow card for palyacting esp when for once he may have had a genuine reason to complain.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by Vieira(m): 4:56pm On Nov 09, 2009
Drogba is really a poof.

He deserved the yellow card.

My only regret is that Evans did not take out John Terry as well.

bleeping KGB tactics.

Roman gets away with everything.

Now all they have to do is buy 10 players in January and then they will not care if they get the ban anymore.

bang out of order.

WE ARE NOT MATES!

Tottenham are the impudent younger brother twice removed who tries to act like an adult.

I wish I was in town to rub this in even harder!

I have a nice pix for you supporters of that low rent club:

Congrats Wenger on becoming Arsenal's longest serving manager.

I salute you and all you have done for my wonderful team.

When you arrived I was not sure about you and did not think you would last very long.

You proved me wrong and most of the press.

You have turned Arsenal into a force in Europe

You have turned us from the old boring boring Arsenal to exponents of the beautiful game.

Here is to more years in charge! Trophy laden years I hasten to add.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. In Wenger We Trust! by Vieira(m): 10:55pm On Oct 01, 2009
I call Diaby the "1 out of 3 man" one good game in three or one good move out of three!

He seems to make to many basic errors, the most common being holding onto a ball too long.

I hope he improves but he needs to do it quickly and till then for me he is no more than a squad player.

One thing I am glad about is that it is now in the open that even the players do not like Adebayor.

I cannot wait for that "see you next Tuesday" to turn up at the Emirates.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. Yes We Can! by Vieira(m): 8:39pm On Sep 12, 2009
What the frack happened?

How could they lose 4-2 to that team?

Someone should have taken out Adebayor big time for that stamp!

We need to get ready to play dirty from now on.

I have had to turn my phone off, crap.

Bleep Bleep Bleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SportsRe: If You Must Choose Between The Super Eagles And Your Club: by Vieira(m): 10:51pm On Sep 09, 2009
Arsenal 1st.

The only choice that can make me think twice is if I was asked to choose between Arsenal winning CL and Naija winning the world cup.

I might be tempted to choose Naija in that circumstance only.

anything apart from that and Arsenal rules.

yoji:
Like i said earlier Arshavin also deserved a penalty but thats irrelevant cos he scored almost immediatly after d incident. Truth is Arsenal played well and deserved to hav gotten but lost their nerve wen it mattered the most and its this that has left them trophyless for such a long time.
How is it irrelevant? Did the referee at that time know we were going to score very soon after? of course he did not.

That could have been our only chance and we would have not been given it.

Also the fact he did not give such a blatant penalty may have also contributed to Almunia coming out thinking that the referee is being very resistant to giving penalties.

What that game shows above anything else is the whole can of worms about referees, diving and retrospective punishment. That game was not debated in the media the same way that the Eduardo incident was, why? Because it involved Man U and their English players.

If that Rooney penalty was done by Eduardo, I guarantee you the media will be saying it was a dive.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. Yes We Can! by Vieira(m): 6:38pm On Sep 04, 2009
So at last someone has realised that penalising Chelsea by fines is stupid.

The bottomless pockets of Roman makes it a useless exercise but this ban on transfers, now that will hurt them. grin

Their track record in this field is second to none maybe now they will think twice.
SportsRe: Club Or Country: by Vieira(m): 6:23pm On Sep 04, 2009
Arsenal first, Country 2nd.

The only time I would swop a club match for a country match is if the country match is in the World Cup.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Greatest Rivalry - Which Of These Pairings Do You Consider The Greatest Rivalry by Vieira(m): 1:42pm On Sep 04, 2009
England v Germany huh Maybe from the English view but not from the germans. A good rivalry has to be equally heated from both sides.

That is why Arsenal v Man U is no longer intense as Arsenal have not been a threat in a while.

Same with Arsenal v Tottenham, Tottenham have not really pushed us in recent years.

The hot ones are:

Celtic v Rangers
Cardiff v Swansea
Boca v River
Argentina v brazil
Millwall v West Ham
Liverpool v Man U

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Inc by Vieira(m): 11:50am On Aug 30, 2009
There was luck on their part but part of that "luck" is that they have been champions for so long and have earned the "respect" of referees and hence tend to get away with most things.
I am sure Arsenal get away with more things when playing small clubs as well.

Unfair but reality is a bitch.

I am still proud of our performance and hope they go on to better things.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. Yes We Can! by Vieira(m): 12:29am On Aug 30, 2009
Sauron, lets get it straight:

Gallas was offside.
Carrick's tackle on Arshavin was a stone cold penalty that even Steve Wonder would have given
Rooney was going to ground even before contact, he sold the referee big time.
Diaby under NO pressure headed backwards into his own nethuh?
Eboue was an embarrasment with that dive, if he can cut that shit out he can be good.
Last fact of the day: Arsenal outplayed Man U but went home with jack and you are the posterchild for ugliness.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. Yes We Can! by Vieira(m): 12:20am On Aug 30, 2009
Man U were played off the park. The referee had a nightmare and Diaby as usual is having his bad games now. I have always said he is a 1 in 3 man. Plays good in one game and then bleeps up in the next two!
How the foul on Arshavin was not a penalty is beyond me.
Anyway Gunners hold your head up high, Man U have the points due to good fortune not good play.
The gulf in class was apparent, on a good day it should have been at best 1-3

Chimbonda, Pavlychenko - joke players.

Let me even analyse the whole team:

23 Cudicini - decent keeper at wrong club.
19 Bassong - relegation defender at the right club
22 Corluka - who? Nonentity
26 King - crippled but still gets into the tottenham side. That says it all.
32 Assou-Ekotto - Big name, small player
06 Huddlestone - Fatso
07 Lennon - Hobbit
12 Palacios - Decent player
14 Modric - Good player, will move in a max of two more years
10 Keane - asswipe with the widest head ever
18 Defoe - Tosser
