Wow! Its been quite awhile I posted on here. Been on training but now I'm on holidays.

I'm overwhelmed by the testimonies I have read so far, it shows we are truly blessed. We should have a reunion in the US sometime next year, it would be great.

Zillionnaire: thank God folks,i arrived des moines Iowa on wednesday the 6th of november 2013.I flew with emirates and it was a wonderful journey,the plane was so beautiful and massive.we stopped at dubai for a few minutes and trust me,dubai is breath taking.It was so beautiful that I knew that we are really cheating ourselves in Naija.we proceeded to new york and the journey was so long but we arrived there eventually and OMG new york is the place to be.I was done with immigrations in less than 5 minutes cos when i got there they saw on my form that i was an artist and they started taunting me to sing or go back to Nigeria and when i sang they gave me a standing ovation and stamped my visa immediately,they did not even check all the fish and shrimps i declared.please dont forget to fill the form they give you on the airplane cos thats what they asked for first.Its what you are bringing into the country they require on the form.Anyways I arrived new york and when I was done wit immigrations I went to look for my connecting flight from Ny to Iowa,what i saw was breath taking,They had an automated train system that picks you to your terminal without a driver.I flew through charlot and the airport was so lovely too.well I finally arived here and please any body that tells you america is not fine,slap the person cos the place is perfect.I wish you all the best in this pursuit

At about 10:45am my num appeared @ window 14 whr a young pure white lady interviewed me

Boomshakar: pls whats your case number and when did you sent your forms with the time you received your 2NL? I sent sent my own forms in June and it was received June ending by KCC but I haven't received my 2NL and my case number is 3*** pls your prompt response will be much appreciated.

Dont worry, your 2NL will come in soon. You sent your forms quite late and that's the reason for the delay. If you dont get it by the end of this week, please send KCC a mail requesting for it.

NO! You wont be denied visa as long as you have your high school certificate OR a qualified job and can defend it. Just send KCC a mail letting them know that you have changed your job and you are good.

Ah! I just read your post properly. Why would he send a form with an information that he doesnt have and is not sure of getting In my opinion, his highest qualification is his SSCE. With this, he is qualified. When he gets to the interview, he should explain to the CO about his inability to obtain his BSc Cert.

He is one of the Lucky winners for the DV 2014 fiscal year but while filling his forms for the lottery the highest Qualification he put in was Bsc hoping he would get his results/certificate early in case he won..but now the results are not ready and the school would not listen to him.. So the qestion now is that, should fill in jst his SSCE which he has already and submit his forms to KCC for processing and will KCC or even if it gets to the CO ''ASK'' of the BSc he intially entered as the highest qalification he has while entering for the loterry. Madu77: Plz When will 2014AF00085XX likely become current. Also I sent my form in June but was suprise to receive a mail from kcc that my form was missing after I tracked and saw it delivered. I resent another one on the 2nd of september and put copy of the mail kcc sent to me and the copy of the fedex receipt with track number as prove. I hope it will not be counted as duplication? You will definitely be current in December. All things being equal.

I doubt if there will be any duplication since they sent you a mail of your missing forms and you did a great job of sending a copy of the printed email. You are so good to go.

The only issue is that you may receive your 2NL very late as it takes about 6-8weeks for ones case to be processed.

For DV2013, December and January had the same Cut off [10000]. I hope it doesnt happen this time.

Send the forms with the correct date of birth as per your international passport. Then you could send them an email or call to let them know of the change. Remember, if you are sending an email (which i think is more appropriate) please quote your name, confirmation number and date of birth.

Juman, trust me some of us are willing to stay back but the situation here is kinda discouraging. Let me bore you with a little of my story.

I studied Mechanical Engineering in one of the best federal Universities in Nigeria and graduated top of my class in 2011 (1st Class). All I and my fellow top guys got on the day of convocation was a hand shake from the VC. Nothing More!!! Not even a scholarship grant to further at masters level.

To think that wasn't enough, I got posted to Zamfara state to serve. I saw hell in that place, all the corpers were thinking about was how to buy goats and cows and send to Lagos to sell. I had to leave.

So I redeployed to Ogun state and got a job in an Oil servicing firm as a subsea pipeline Engineer in Lagos. I had to combine teaching in Ogun and working in Lagos. It was so stressful but I did it anyway.

Today, I now fully work for this firm as I was retained after NYSC.

Now I believe I can become who ever I want to be in America cos things are given mainly on Merit. It'll be a dream come true for me to finally get the chance to do my masters in one of the best schools in the world.

Finally, my point is if Nigeria doesn't bring out the best in you. You can aswel try other options. Cheers
