There was this feeling of relief especially from the opposition party on the new electoral law or should I say the electoral reform.
The opposition party felt the loopholes that would have encouraged or made the ruling party have upper hand during the election has been closed or that the gap is greatly reduced.
But in reality I can say this is a scenario of the more you look the less you see and I'm sure PDP which happen to be the major opposition party would have done worse if they had been the party at the center.

Now let's dissect it it further....
Don't you think that conducting the presidential election first does not give the ruling party upper hand in the election?
Don't you think the ruling party which happen to have more sitting governors and most of them that are gunning for Senate seats will work to see their presidential candidate wins? Knowing fully well that they need to be in d good books of the president in order to get enough support from Abuja during the second pass of election which will be foe those gunning for Senate?

I think this is one major point that will give the ruling party upper hand in the next election.

This election will be won or lost on the day of presidential election and if BAT wins (which I'm 85% sure) he will start acting as the president almost immediately.

This is my humble opinion though.
