Sorry to say but you made a big mistake in my opinion!!!! dont understand how you can say Augusto didn't turn out as expected when you didn't even give him a chance..........After all he is just 10 months!! Some Boerboel line take 3 and a half years to mature and fill out especially the really big lines!!!!

When I saw Augusto as a pup I knew he was a good example of the breed.......Boerboels tend to grow unequally until about 18 months before they start to even out......

Look at the Pics below.....these pups are around 7 month old, and have a very similar build to Augusto in fact imo Augusto has a better head!!! Now the pups I posted are out of Afrika Sakabuka, the largest Boerboel ever appraised!!

FYI All boerboels grow at different rates hence comparisons are useless when they are puppies.......Augusto has big paws and is going to be a big dog!! you are going to be very disappointed that you let him go!!!

This is the reason I've been kinda silent because my followers would never understand no matter how I explain it. Apologies for the way I've been ignoring all the comments and have refused to update y'all on our thread/diary without a valid reason. I lost interest in pet section and kinda in dogs lately as well due to how things turned out, I wouldn't give every detail here but for months now I've not posted augusto's pic because it'd attract criticism, arguments and mockery thereby reducing what we've all built for years into a tragedy.

Augusto didn't turn out as we had all expected at first so I felt taking pics of him and uploading here and on Instagram wouldn't be cool at all, he's currently not with me anymore so gustaf has no option but to remain as he used to be after murphy's demise.
Watching something you cherish dissapoint you isn't easy at all so I thereby officially announce the closure of this thread from today but won't be taken down as it'd serve as a manual and a pet diary to motivate Nigerian cynophilist into keeping dogs not just for breeding/as an outdoor security but as man's best friend as well, and to also motivate others into opening a thread for their beloved dogs and thereby giving these dogs recognition and a medium to be admired by people all over the country, I hope you all understand and read meaning into my reasons.

Parvo is rarely preventable but some little measures can be put in place. Get tumeric and black palm kernel oil then apply to his food from time to time, by doing this your dog's immune system would be so strong in which viruses wouldn't easily penetrate.

But make sure his vaccinations are upto date btw, nice pup you got

On average CO are 110-170lbs and Boerboels are 145-200lbs.

Obviously you do get exceptional individuals in both breeds that hit the 220lbs mark

Hi guys,I have this dog(female) she is pretty agile and stuff.
Nowadays she is still agile and cheerful and looks healthy but she is acting weird:
1. She dug a hole in the bushes and hides there most times and when you take her out of there, she acts restless till you take her back.
2. She cries aloooooooot, I mean she is the type that cries when she is happy to see you or when she is excited but this time she just cries at inappropriate moments when there is nothing to be excited or emotional about.
3. She is aggressive towards the Male dog.
4. She bullies the Male dog from eating when I serve them food only for her to eat half of her food and hop into the bushes to go hide again

Please does anyone understand this behaviour?
