Of course he will be an illiterate now because he is not Fashola. Kindly read through his resume and tell me how a trained chemical Engineer is an illiterate?. huh huh huh
He sounds worse than an illiterate, i wonder why some Governors can't make a well guided reason before exposing their gutters they call mouth to the press!

Its a chopper for pete's sake, and choppers are made to fly over people's offices, and he, Oni, does not have the authority to order that a chopper be shot down, only the C in C has such powers or a military authority if the country is in a state of war!

I think he should take his dreams up a notch and shoot down every aircraft that enters his "no flying zone".

PoliticsRe: Dora Akunyili Tells All! by violent(m): 4:27pm On Mar 02, 2010
Mr. Violent quit critisizing ppl if u have ideas of how to contribute in the building of this country then come out and let us see your active involvement it is easier to sit back and point accusing fingers at people. Tell us what u have done as a patriotic Nigerian to move dis country forward or else let us encourage those who have the bravery to do what we cannot do
Am not all about criticizing her, my question is,

where has she been all the while?

Why is she talking now?

She claims she doesn't get information from the presidency and yet she sits on her high chair, collect stupendous allowances plus other ridiculous benefits and then shines her teeth to the public while the likes of Soyinka walk about in the sun, rallying for good governance in Nigeria.

As the good ol'hand of faith will have it, Uncle Yaradua became a vegetable, and then she comes out, opens her buccal cavity to the press and screams "they are corrupt, I'm not"! and people on Nairaland hail . . . "Aunty Dora has got balls"

Can anyone tell me what the information ministry has achieved in the past 3 years?. . . Anybody?. . . at least one of her many supporters sure have something to say?

PoliticsRe: Dora Akunyili Tells All! by violent(m): 5:56pm On Mar 01, 2010
Are you so dumb that you read and did not understand this part quoted below. Perhaps, you didn't even read the news, yet you have the guts to spew rubbish here
Another dummy shouting "Aunty Dora is everything good happening in Nigeria right now"

First the bolded part of the statement you pointed out is something anybody can say to save face, ask Anodoakaa, and he will give you a million and one reasons why he wants the best for Nigeria.

Have you asked yourself why Dora took the role of information minister in the first place, when it was clear to all except for a few idióts like you that she is a round peg in a square hole?

why don't you start by telling me what she's achieved so far in her ministry?
When the information minister keeps quiet, resulting in a state of heightened tension in the country, how good do you think that meant for Nigerians as a whole?
If she wasn't getting information from appropriate coffers, then why stay in the office?. . . ans is, because she is just like every other power thirsty politician out there.

Have you read the interview where she claimed to pass on a letter addressed to the president through the information ministry without checking the contents?  Gross incompetency!

and yet you come out here to support her gibberish just because she granted a press interview in an effort to regain public's confidence!
PoliticsRe: Dora Akunyili Tells All! by violent(m): 5:36pm On Mar 01, 2010
You are violent so no one should be surprised at how you come across! Whatever she did to you, endure it.
She has done nothing to me, i just don't like this sudden idea of "I am saint amongst them" attitude, why work for a government whose ideology and root spells of corruption? in many words, she can qualify as an "hypocrite", where was she all along?. .

If she doesn't like the system, let her quit and join the likes of Falana and Soyinka's in the fight!. . .

she stays in well furnished office building, well furnished apartment, bark out orders, get recognition anywhere as "Minister for Information", receive jumbo pay and ridiculous allowances and then come out and tell us "the government is corrupt" plsssssssssss not all Nigerians are idíots.

Nkojo Iweala resigned when she discovered that she couldn't play the ball game any longer, i think Dora needs such people as mentors
PoliticsRe: Dora Akunyili Tells All! by violent(m): 4:54pm On Mar 01, 2010
But seriously, what information is she bringing out that is new to Nigerians?

The fact that we have a corrupt goverment?

The fact that Turai is struggling hard to hold on to power?

The fact that there is a "you-must-loot" syndrome as well as "na-my-turn" syndrome?

Hasn't she been a part of the same government all along?

Besides the NTA scandal, can anybody tell me what the information Minister has achieved so far in her ministry?

The president was away for 90 + days and she was initially part of the whole "The president can rule from an unconscious state" plan, and boooom, all of a sudden, just to gain media attention and attract public applause, she's coming out like someone who's sh.it don't stink!

And don't you even try to bombard me with her achievements at Nafdac, why not think about her achievement at the information ministry, if information is not getting across to her as she claims, then what the bleep is she sitting in that office for?. . . to be paid from the tax payers purse for letting loose her buccal cavity on worthless rubbish?

she comes in and tell us "I don't know the president is being flown into the country" and y'all come her and applaud her for her bravery?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Seeks Support To Fight Almajiri Problem by violent(m): 4:32pm On Mar 01, 2010
Sky Blue:
The acting president has been going around making speeches on different issues. I personally can't wait till we actually begin to see some action and measurable progress. He hasn't got four years, he has about one till the current term is up. Electoral reforms, Freedom of Information Bill, Corruption, some progress in the power sector. The position he is in is one of fantasy whereby friends always joke and say, "if you had just one day to be president of Nigeria, what would you do" - then of course you hear people speak of what they think is the most urgent thing to tackle that would make the most difference. This is not fantasy, this is real life and Johnathan has a real opportunity. Sure it would sound impatient, but he should please get to work already because this is now his Nigeria and anything that goes bad from here on is not Yar Adua's problem, but his. Take the bull by the horn and get something done. Good intentions don't automatically translate to progress and development. I don't understand why he is not already working with the legislature and prominent citizens to push through for some major bills that have been stalled for so long.

PoliticsRe: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by violent(m): 11:50am On Mar 01, 2010
Afam:
Obama has no business asking such question in the first place. Nigeria is certainly not a satellite state of the US and should not be responding to such requests.
True, but would you have preferred if he used the word "request", just as a way of showing concern?

Nigerian is a sovereign state, but news regarding the economic status, power tussle, political instability amidst poverty, disease and heightened tension among its citizenry is of course a going concern for the international community who have business relations with the country.

The world is a global village, if Obama disappears for a medical treatment for 90+ days without an official letter to the US congress and he sneaks into the US at night, the whole world will be demanding to know his health status, why should Nigeria be any different?

someone has to teach this people to do the right thing, and Femi Falana is the guy.

But, question is does he have the right to demand that a citizen be arrested?. . . am guessing the whole thing lie on the table of the Anthony General of the federation who decides if the government wants to prosecute the case or not.

CareerRe: Lying On Cv by violent(m): 7:05pm On Feb 28, 2010
Don't ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever lie on your CV, although you can exaggerate your roles and make it look like a big deal even if its not!

E.g If you have worked as sales boy in a small shop, you CV role might be stated as follows;

1889-1988

Sales Executive.

Managed and Monitored high volume daily transaction.

Designed customer feed back mechanism to ensure a guaranteed customer satisfaction.

Designed efficient marketing strategies to ensure that the business remained competitive
Ensured prompt delivery of ordered goods and products

etc etc

Remember, every experience is valuable, what matters is how you present it to suit the employers need.
